What had happened to Shadowseer why did she find him flying in with bandages covering him tho he had recovered by now tho he had a scar across his shoulder and it looked as tho a Seawing with a narwhal horn had plunged it into his shoulder

"You have been quite" Qibli noted

She was in her sleeping cave with the rest of her winglet

"Yeah so" she replied

The mind reading Nightwing Moon was asleep because it was morning

"I'm guessing you have a lot of thoughts right now and you probably don't want to talk about that" Qibli said

"But if you could pick where you got to live where would you live" Qibli asked

"Right now not in the Ice kingdom my family is being annoying" Snowstorm answered

"Not a fun family?" Qibli asked

"Yes" she grumbled

"I understand that" Qibli said

"Alright but now I'm heading out" Snowstorm replied

She hopped out of her bed and walked out of the sleeping cave

She didn't really feel like spending any more time with her Winglet

She went to the prey center to get some breakfast

She heard someone behind her

"Hi Snowstorm" a familiar voice said

She turned her head to see Shadowseer

"Hi" she replied

"So I'm guessing we are both going to the prey center to get some food" Shadowseer asked

"Yeah" Snowstorm answered

He fell into step beside her

"What do you think the los- Pantala is like" Shadowseer asked

"I'd know but it would probably be fun to explore" Snowstorm answered

They walked into the prey center

She grabbed a fish out of a pile of them

What do the Seawings go out early in the morning to catch fish

She walked back to Shadowseer who was cooking a chicken he caught

"Want me to cook yours for you" Shadowseer asked after he finished with cooking his with his fire

She had fire when she was hot enough and Frostbreath when she was cold enough

"No thanks" Snowstorm answered

She cooked it herself

"Oh you fire of your own. I thought the Icewing was dominant in you" Shadowseer said

"It's that I can breathe fire if I'm hot enough and I have Frostbreath if I'm cold enough" Snowstorm replied

"That sounds cool" Shadowseer said

"I know" Snowstorm replied

A Seawing and a Skywing walked in the Seawing stared at Shadowseer's scar across his shoulder and there stare turned to a glare

What dose that mean dose he know something that happened that Shadowseer hasn't told me?

"Hey Shadowseer did anything other then you being attacked by a Seawing" Snowstorm asked

"Not really no" Shadowseer answered

He looked kinda worried as tho something bad had happened

"Did something bad happen to you during the break?" Snowstorm asked

"Not to me but to my father....my adopted father he was with me during the attack and he got knocked out and he hasn't woken up yet" Shadowseer answered

"Oh...that must be hard" Snowstorm replied

"Yeah but I get through" Shadowseer said

"And Destinykiller is determined to get revenge for what they did to Shadespeaker" Shadowseer said

She guessed those were his parents names but she asked anyway

"Who are Destinykiller and Shadespeaker?" Snowstorm asked

He let out a growl of annoyance that he had said that "they are.....my adopted parents"

"Oh" was her only reply

She wasn't sure what else to say

He was starting to share more with her

"And before you ask no I don't know who my real parents are" Shadowseer said

"And I can't share anymore with you or I'll get in trouble with Farfli- the leader of my group I live in" Shadowseer said

Farflight was that there name

Shadowseer didn't answer that so she guessed he had her thoughts silenced for him

He was quite a nice Nightwing he didn't use his ability to look at her thoughts all the time and was a nice dragon to hang out around

"Hi!" What she guessed was a RainNight hybrid said

"Hi what do you want?" Shadowseer asked

"I'm Firefly and I wanted to come see why it seems like my sister Mint doesn't like you" Firefly answered

"Well I don't know why your sister doesn't like me but if you want to know go ask her" Shadowseer replied

"Oh....okay I'll go ask her then" Firefly said and walked away

"That was one of the princess wasn't it?" Snowstorm asked

"Yeah I think. I don't live in the Nightwing village" Shadowseer answered

"So do you like living in your group" Snowstorm asked

He shrugged "it's fine"

"Why are you asking" Shadowseer asked

"I was just curious" Snowstorm answered

"Hmmm curious you say. Would your thoughts say the same thing?" Shadowseer asked

"Okay I hate it at the Ice kingdom and I was wondering maybe after School maybe we can find somewhere to live together" Snowstorm answered

"I should have realized that from how many times I have heard your thoughts complaining about how annoying the Ice kingdom is before I silence your thoughts for myself" Shadowseer replied

"Yeah I guess it's pretty obvious I hate it there" Snowstorm said

The sound echoed through the halls

They got up

The jade winglet and Saphire winglet had today's history class together

They walked down to the history class room

She saw some of her winglet were already there

"Didn't she say Nightwings were annoying" she heard Kinkajou ask Moon

Over her time back from her break she met the Sandwing of the Peridot winglet and was another dragon she kinda like to hang out with

She sat down with Shadowseer on the opposite side of the room from her winglet

Sky walked in with the scavenger Wren on his shoulders and sat down next to her and Shadowseer

"Hi" Snowstorm said

"Hi Shadowseer and Snowstorm" the Sky replied

"So is this Ice dragon a friend Shadowsight" Wren asked

"Yeah she is my friend but my name is Shadowseer" Shadowseer answered
