And just like that they were flying back to jade mountain at the end of there break

This time she brought some of her art projects with her

They landed down to see Sunset was on top of someone

"What's going on" Mint asked

"I'm trying to get him to answer me" Sunset answered and Mint saw it was Leatherback under her he had bandages made out of kelp raped around him in areas

"Need air to answer" Leatherback groaned

Firefly turned yellow with amusement

"Oops sorry" Sunset said and got off him

"Now I had been attacked by Nightwings that's what happened" Leatherback answered

Firefly stared "but we have all the Nightwings in the rainforest"

"Not all the Nightwings" Mint replied

"Oh....I'm going to go find my friends" Firefly said and walked away

Leaving the three of them alone

A Nightwing and surprisingly enough a Icewing landed down

Nightwings and Icewings still didn't have the best relationships

The Nightwing that was with the Icewing spoke to her and he limped off which made her notice that one of his legs was wrapped in bandages

Leatherback didn't notice him

"Why don't we head inside" Mint suggested

"Okay" Leatherback aggred

And they walked inside and Mint suggested for them to go to the art cave

She set some of her clay sculptures she still had to paint down and then she walked off to get some paint

Sunset and Leatherback painted together and Mint was fairly sure more of the paint was on Leatherback then the paintings they were doing and she heard him make a few jokes

By the time they were all done Leatherback looked more like a Rainwing then a Seawing

"Who's that new Rainwing..oh wait it's just Leatherback covered in paint" Mesa said and giggled as she walked in with Crow

"Hahaha very funny Mesa" Leatherback replied

"You think so" Mesa asked

"No I was being sarcastic" Leatherback answered

"Sooo why is Leatherback covered in paint" Mesa asked

"He kept making jokes about Skywings and I was tired of it so every time he made a joke I would use the rest of the paint on the brush on him" Sunset answered

Mesa giggled at the answer

"Leatherback you should meet Qibli and then we can make the jokes trio" Mesa said

"That's the Sandwing of the jade winglet right?" Mint asked

"Yep before Thorn became Queen and her and her Outclaws left for the stronghold Qibli and me lived in the scorpion den together so that's how I know him" Mesa answered

"Ah" Mint said

"And what I saw the scorpion dens new leader is about as great as Thorn was" Mesa said

"Is it also because it's your friend Amber?" Crow asked

"No but it's felt like me and Amber have drifted apart in our friendship" Mesa answered

"Tho has anyone else noticed that the Nightwing of the Saphire winglet is limping and has some shoulder wound" Crow asked

"He dose!" Leatherback asked if he was actually a Rainwing not just looking like one he would probably be bright red

"What's bad about that?" Sunset asked Leatherback

"That means he is one of the three Nightwings who attacked me and my cousin Aqua" Leatherback answered

"Dose that mean he is also the dragon who tryed to kill me during sunning time?" Mint asked

"Maybe" Mesa aggred

"Wait....if they only have gone for heirs to the thrones......" Leatherback said

"So?" Sunset pushed

"So Shadowseer and the other two Nightwings could be looking to take over pyrrhia" Leatherback finished

"You could easily be right" Sunset said

"If he is right they could go for Mint and Aqua again or Sunset and Frost or Terra" Mesa said

What if we're right what would happen then? She wondered to herself

"I'm going to go wash this paint off" Leatherback said and walked out of the art cave

"You did good on making him a Rainwing" Mesa said

"Thanks" Sunset replied and smiled

It was clear the Shadowseer being evil conversation was over

She was going to leave the sculptures here to dry overnight

"So how did everyone else spend that short break?" Leatherback asked

"I spent it hanging out with some of my friends" Sunset answered

"Doing art and hanging out with friends" Mint answered

"Making new friends and hanging out with Crow" Mesa answered

"So you and Crow spend your break together?" Mint asked

"Yeah we did" Crow answered

"So what should we do now?" Mint asked

"Why don't we go get some food" Sunset suggested

"That's a good idea" Mesa aggred

And they walked out of the art cave together and to the prey center

She walked over to the pile of fruit and then walked to where her friends were sitting and joined them

"So we have heard the news from the sea kingdom but what's going on in the rainforest?" Mesa asked

"Eh nothing much tho I think my sister has a boyfriend" Mint answered

"And why do you think that?" Mesa asked

"Because she spent every day of our break with a Rainwing named Amazon" Mint answered

"Well I think Sunset loves Leatherback" Mesa said

"Do not" Sunset retorted

"Then why dose it seem like you want to hang out all the time" Mesa asked

"Because he is my friend duh" Sunset answered

"What are you two arguing about" Leatherback asked as he walked over

He was no longer covered in paint

"Mesa believes that Sunset has a crush on you" Crow answered for the two of them

"I do not!" Sunset growled

Where has this convention gone she wondered

"Anyway! What's been happening in the sky kingdom?" Mint asked

"Nothing interesting" Sunset answered

Terra walked over

"Hi guys" Terra said

"Hey Terra" Leatherback said

"Anything interesting happened in the Mud kingdom" Sunset asked

Terra shook her head "Nope"

"So it seems we haven't had very interesting breaks" Mesa said

"So is anyone going to explain why Leatherback has a bunch of bandages on him" Terra asked

"I got attacked by a trio of Nightwings during my break and we think one of the Nightwings might be Shadowseer of the Saphire winglet" Leatherback answered
