They had just shown Mint and Firefly the tunnel

And her and Crow flew to the scorpion den

"Hey can we have access" Mesa asked the guards outside

"Yes" the guard on the right answered

And they let them pass

They got to the oasis in the middle of the scorpion den

Where is Amber Mesa wondered

A small Sandwing came out of one of the tents

"I'm Sandcat and who are you looking for?" The small Sandwing asked

"Amber do you know her" Mesa answered

"Yes follow me" Sandcat said

And they followed Sandcat into one of the tents

"Amber you have visitors" Sandcat called

And a very familiar face came out

"Hi Amber" Mesa said

"Hi Mesa who's this" Amber asked

"I'm Crow" Crow answered

Mesa noticed the new thing on Amber's tail

"What's that" Mesa asked and pointed at the thing on Amber's tail

"I lost my barb in a fight so I got this" Amber answered

"Wait Crow are you a hybrid" Sandcat asked

"Yes why" Crow replied

"That's really cool is it a SkyNight hybrid? If it is that's super cool because I have never seen a SkyNight hybrid" Sandcat said

"So your interested in hybrids" Crow replied

"Yes they are so cool" Sandcat said

"So why have you came?" Amber asked

"We have a break so we came to introduce you to Crow" Mesa answered

"Oh okay then" Amber replied

"Would you like some sugared camel?" Amber asked

"Yes I haven't had it in sooo long" Mesa answered

"Well I've got plenty to share" Amber replied and gave Mesa some

"Thanks Amber" Mesa said and ate it

"Crow do you want some?" Amber asked

"No thanks" Crow answered

"So uh what do you want to do" Amber asked

"I'm not really sure" Mesa answered

"What even is there to do here?" Crow asked

"You can take a look at the shops but I've changed that you buy and sell stuff with stuff called Scotland coins" Amber said

"Hmm that's cool" Mesa replied

"But I'm not sure if everyone uses Scorpion coins" Amber said

"Well we can still look" Mesa replied

"So Amber do you run the scorpion den" Crow asked

"I recently took leadership yes" Amber answered

"That's cool" Mesa said

"But my friend didn't seem to want to ask that question" Amber said

"Sorry I guess I didn't think about that" Mesa replied

"Oh Amber before I forget I needed to tell you Dusty is bringing some dragonets to get a drink" Sandcat said

"Cool I'll meet them outside" Amber replied

And Amber left the tent

Mesa and Crow followed

To see a brownish pale yellow Sandwing coming with a group of dragonets

"Hi Dusty" Amber said

"Hi Amber is that Mesa" the Sandwing named Dusty asked

"Yeah I'm Mesa" Mesa answered

"Well it's good to meet you I'm Dusty" Dusty said

"I'm Crow a part of the winglet Mesa is in" Crow said

"Ooo are you a Nightwing or a Skywing oo wait are you both?" One of the dragonets asked they looked to be one or two

"Sorry she is always bombing new dragons with questions" a older dragonet said they looked to be four or five

"Hi Lantern your over the age limit" Amber said

"I know but I wanted to make sure that Lioness got here okay cause I remember that I got lost during my first trip here. Can I help Dusty with the tasks around the den" Lantern asked

"Hehe sure" Amber answered

"I can watch Lionness for you" Sandcat said

Amber looked back at Mesa "Lantern and Lioness don't know who there parents are"

"A dragon who asks a lot of questions can make a good researcher" Sandcat said

"Really!" Lioness asked

"Yes really" Sandcat answered and smiled

"Then uh.. could we stay here" Lantern asked

"Of course if you are welcome our job is to protect the dragons who are too old or too young like Lioness here" Amber said

The dragnets ran over to the water

"Can we play in it?" A dragonet who looked like they were two asked

"Sure Thistle" Amber said

And the dragnets began to play in the water

Mesa smiled

"Can you remember when we were that young" Mesa asked Amber

"No not really" Amber answered

One dragnet fell under the water and Crow rushed forward a grabbed the dragonet

"Sol you don't go too deep" Amber told the dragnet

"Sorry Amber" Sol said

"It's alright I make rules to keep dragons safe" Amber said

"Like me" Sol asked

"Yes like you" Amber answered a boopded his nose

Sol giggled

"There are so many dragonets" Mesa said

"Yeah and I try and help them all" Amber replied

"What's that on your tail Amber" Sol asked

"I lost my normal tail barb so I got a metal one"

"Cool what can you do with it" Sol asked

"Anything a normal tail barb can do" Amber answered

"But I can also put healing stuff in it if I need to heal dragons" Amber said

"So can you heal a dragon who had been bit by a dragon bite viper" Sol asked

"Not yet but me and Sandcat are trying to find a way to heal that" Amber answered

"Wow that sounds cool dose Sandcat heal?" Sol asked

"I do research" Sandcat answered

"Lantern why don't you get a drink then we can start working on some of our tasks. Remember the parents come here to pick up there dragonets" Dusty said

"Uh okay" Lantern said and bent down to get a drink

And once she was done she followed Dusty off to go do there tasks

"Can we help with anything" Mesa asked

"I'm not sure. Actually you can watch the dragonets I've got other things I need to do" Amber answered

And she walked away to go do some of her tasks

"Bye Amber" Mesa said

"Black Skywing! Black Skywing! Can you be a sea monster in our game" Thistle asked

"Sure" Crow said and smiled
