Mesa watched Mint leave the den

Before I came here my only friends were Lion and Amber

I had came here with Lion no matter how much my father Rhino didn't want me to go to jade mountain

Amber was her best friend her first friend

I'm planning to see Amber again when our break comes Mesa thought

"Hey Mesa want to come to fish with me?" Leatherback asked

"Sure" Mesa answered

And the two of them walked out of the den

A Seawing came out of a den ahead

"Oh uh... hi Hurricane" Leatherback said

Hurricane showed a beautiful smile "hi Leatherback who's this?"

"I'm Mesa it's nice to meet you" Mesa said

"So this is the Sandwing of your Winglet" Hurricane said

"Yeah I'm" Mesa replied

"Well then do you know any of the Sandwings here?" Hurricane asked

"Lion from the gold winglet" Mesa answered

"That's all.... it must not be fun to only have one friend" Hurricane said

"Oh I other friends" Mesa said

"Oh you do who?" Hurricane asked

"Ummm....I-" Mesa said

"Oh you were just lieing" Hurricane interrupted

"Before you interrupted me I was going to say I'm friends with Mint Firefly Sunset a Sandwing named Amber Frost a rainwing named Okapi oh and Terra" Mesa said

"Oh so you are friends with weak dragons and hybrids" Hurricane said

"Uh several princess and this prince here" Mesa replied

I wish I knew who my mother was. But she never cared about me so why do I care Mesa thought

"Oh princess let me guess the two hybrids Firefly and Mint" Hurricane said

"And Sunset and Terra and Frost" Mesa replied

"Hmm still your just a lowly Sandwing" Hurricane said

"Come on Hurricane she's one of my friends" Leatherback said

"Hmm why. I thought royalty was only supposed to be friends with other royalty" Hurricane said

"I'm going to go see if the prey center has anything good to eat" Mesa said and walked away

She walked into the prey center

She caught a pig and walked over to Crow

"Mind if I join you" Mesa asked

"Sure" Crow answered

She sat down with her pig and began to eat

"So where do you live" Crow asked

"In the scorpion den. It's a place where outcasts live" Mesa answered

"I was banished from the sky kingdom after I saved a friend named Olive she was a Mudwing. So when the break comes can I come to your home with you?" Crow asked

"Yes of course" Mesa answered

"It would be more fun if I had friend with me" Mesa said

"But it's not a great place to live" Mesa said

"Well it well be better then where I was living before I came here. And that was a tree" Crow said

"Hehe then the scorpion den is better" Mesa replied

Both dragons smiled

And then Hurricane and Leatherback came in carrying a ton of fish

Leatherback smiled at Crow not noticing Mesa sitting beside her

"So why did you what to walk by yourself" Mesa asked

"Just to get some alone time" Crow answered

Leatherback and Hurricane walked over

"So your the Nightwing in the Peridot winglet" Hurricane asked

Crow nodded "yes I'm"

"Interes...wait are you a hybrid" Hurricane asked

"Yes a NightSky hybrid why" Crow replied

"Hmm why are there so many hybrids here" Hurricane asked

"What's so bad about hybrids?" Leatherback asked

"They are just weird" Hurricane answered

"That's not much of a answer" Mesa asked

"Stay out of this Sandwing" Hurricane growled

"Come on Crow let's go somewhere else" Mesa said

And Crow followed her out of the prey center

"So where to" Mesa asked

"Let's go outside" Crow said

Today is just a day to hang out with friends and chill like Icewings

"Hey uh Mesa did you hear that they are going to start games where the winglets are going to play against each other" Crow asked

"No I did not" Mesa answered

They walked outside the school

"Want me to show you some of my ways to be sneaky" Crow asked

"Yeah that would be cool" Mesa answered

And they glided down into the forest

"It might not be as easy for you because you don't have darker colored scales" Crow said

"But why don't we try playing hide and seek I'll be the first seeker" Crow suggested

"Okay I'll go hide" Mesa aggred

And ran into the forest to hide

She had hidden herself deep in a berry bush when Crow said "ready or here I come!"

And Crow came looking and found Mesa easily

"Next time hide in something that fits the color of your scales" Crow suggested

"Okay" Mesa replied happy to get advice for hiding

"I think I see deer over there wanna hunt um" Crow asked

"Yes" Mesa answered

And they sneaked up on the deer and caught them

"I don't know if my tail barb would poison the food so I didn't use it well we were hunting" Mesa said

And they ate the deer

"I want you to seek again in hide and seek" Mesa said

And they played another round with Crow being the seeker

Mesa found a sandy shore to a river and she mostly barred herself in the sand to hide

"Ready or not here I come" Crow called

She came out to the shore and looked right passed Mesa and then walked away then returned shortly after

Crow came over

"Found you but you nearly had me fooled but my eyes are trained to find other dragons even if they are hiding" Crow said

"Well still I had a good spot" Mesa said

"That was fun" Crow said

"But next time hide those white freckles" Crow suggested

"So what do you want to do now?" Mesa asked

"I'm not sure" Crow answered

"Maybe you could try being the seeker in hide and seek" Crow suggested

"That dose sound pretty fun to play another round of hide and seek" Mesa aggred
