Mint walked into the Peridot winglets den

The Sandwing for her winglet got up

"Did I fall asleep well I was working again" the Sandwing asked

"Yes and you snore" the Icewing answered

"I don't know why Mother made me come if I'm not going to get any sleep" some dragon said

"Why don't you put stuff in your ears" the skywing of the winglet suggested

"That's a good idea thanks Sunset" the Seawing replied

"Why is there so much arguing" Mint asked

"Oh our Rainwing is here but apparently I snore so that is why" the Sandwing answered

"Why don't we introduce ourselves and I'm Leatherback" the Seawing said

"I'm Sunset" the Skywing said

"I'm Crow" the Nightwing said

"Mesa" the Sandwing said

"And I'm Terra" the mudwing said

"They aren't saying there full names but I'm Princess Frost" the Icewing said

"I'm not royalty" Mesa said

"I wasn't talking about you" Frost replied

"But what's your name Rainwing" Leatherback asked

"I'm Mint" Mint answered

She noticed a half finished wooden dragon on the Mesa's bed

"Why don't we get some sleep we have a class in the morning" Leatherback suggested

"That's a good idea" Mint aggred

And she walked over to the only empty bed

And climbed inside of it

And went to sleep

She woke up Mesa was waiting for her

"Come on music class is first" Mesa said

She climbed out of her bed and followed Mesa out of the den

"So are we doing it with another winglet?" Mint asked

"Yeah we are doing it with the jade winglet" Mesa answered

"That's the winglet that my mother said was the disaster winglet" Mint said

And they walked into the music room

To see some dragons playing instruments

And the Seawing she was guessing was Tsunami was watching

Mint noticed that three dragons had a similar pattern on there wings and does dragons were Tsunami a green Seawing she didn't know and Leatherback

"Hey Mint do you want to learn how to play the drums" Mesa asked

"Sure" Mint answered

And Mesa showed Mint a few beats but Mint couldn't get one beat right

"Your good at this" Mesa said

"Thanks" Mint replied

"So I'm not the only Sandwing who likes to play the drums" the other Sandwing asked

"My father taught me how to play and I loved it" Mesa replied

"I'm Qibli and you are" Qibli asked

"I'm Mesa and this is Mint" Mesa answered

"Well it's nice to meet you two" Qibli said

"Yeah same" Mint replied

"Hey Qibli who are your new friends" a Nightwing asked

"This is Mint and Mesa" Qibli answered

"Well I'm Moon" Moon said

And Mesa taught Mint a few more beats

"Alright the class is over" Tsunami called to the dragnets

"Your next class is art which Sunny well be teaching" Tsunami said

That's cool I love art Mint thought

"Come on let's go" Mesa said

And they walked to the art room together

Mint walked over to the easel and grabbed a canvas and some paints

They were doing the class with the Gold winglet

And she started to paint a dragon flying in the night sky

"Wow that's pretty good" Frost said

"Thanks" Mint replied

She noticed that Frost had started painting next to her

Sunny was now looking at everyone's work

Mint had her painting half way complete when Sunny came over

"Wow that's amazing" Sunny said

"Thanks I really love to do art" Mint said

And Sunny walked away

She had her painting completed it was of Firefly flying in the night sky

And she left it to dry

"I painted a Sunset what did you paint?" Firefly asked

"You flying with the night sky behind you" Mint answered

"You seem to really like to paint dragons flying" Firefly said

"Hi" a Rainwing she had never met before said

"Hey Tamiami this is my sister Mint" Firefly said

"Hi Tamiami it's nice to meet you" Mint said

"Yeah" Tamiami replied

"The class is over" Sunny called

"Lunch time" Mint said

And ran out of the class room and realized that she didn't know where to go

"Come on this way" Sunset said

And they walked together

Sunset had ruby's under her eyes

"Thanks for leading me since I got here late I didn't exactly have time to explore" Mint said

"Your welcome" Sunset replied

"My mother always tells me it's better to make a friend then it is to make un enemy" Sunset said

"That's some good advice" Mint said

And they reached the prey center

"Would you like to try some fruit" Mint asked

"Sure" Sunset answered

And they walked over to a pile of fruit

"Hey Frost come here" the Gold winglets Icewing called

She gave Sunset a mango

"Here try this" Mint told Sunset

And Sunset took the mango

And she ate it

"Oo this is good" Sunset said

"I know fruit is amazing" Mint replied

We are starting to become friends Mint thought

"So do you want to try more" Mint asked

"Sure" Sunset answered

And she gave Sunset a cherry

And grabbed a blueberry for herself

And they ate there fruit

"So what is something you like to do" Sunset asked

"I like to paint but what do you like to do" Mint replied

"I like to fly but that's just a normal Skywing thing" Sunset answered

"Do you have any siblings" Mint asked

"Not yet" Sunset answered

And Mesa walked over to them

"So what are you talking about" Mesa asked

"We were just talking about ourselves" Sunset answered

And her scales went pink

"Wow what does that color mean" Mesa asked

"It means I'm happy" Mint answered

"So it's a extra way to tell us that your happy" Mesa said

"Yeah" Mint replied

And she turned her scales back to there normal

"Something about me is that I grew up never knowing my mother because she never lived with me and my Father" Mesa said

"Oh that must not have been fun" Mint said
