I noticed that a lot of people dislike x readers

And I'm like why at first but then I realized that there are some reasons that could be true

1) I don't read a lot of those because they're OOC, the reader isn't very inclusive
The 'readers' are all long haired, shy but confident (I'm serious that's what some authors say), good at what they're doing, smart, white smile and sparkly teeth, their skin is always smooth and hairless, and they also have the perfect body

It basically makes me feel bad for a good few months

2) It romanticizes mental illness
For example:
He hugs you tightly while you cry against his shoulder.

"You're beautiful, Y/N, there's nothing that you could be depressed about. I'll protect you, love, I swear"

You felt alright after that. You realize that you love *insert crush here*

OKAY FIRST OF FUCKING ALL

ANXIETY ISN'T SHY GIRLS NOT WANTING SMALL TALK IT'S WONDERING WHETHER YOUR FAMILY REGRETS HAVING YOU AND IF YOUR FRIENDS HATE YOU
SELF HARM ISN'T LOVELY BOYS KISSING YOUR ARMS AND TELLING YOU'RE GORGEOUS IT'S ONE DAY LOOKING AT YOUR HUNDREDS OF SCARS THAT WON'T DISAPPEAR AND SHOWERS THAT STING
BULIMIA ISN'T A PRETTY GIRL THROWING UP WITH A TRAGICALLY POUTY AND BEAUTIFUL FACE IT'S ABOUT LOSING TOO MUCH WEIGHT AND FINGERS TURNING BLUE
ANOREXIA ISN'T A SLIM FIGURE SHYLY TURNING DOWN ICE CREAM IT'S HAIRS GROWING ALL OVER YOUR MALNOURISHED AND FREEZING BODY
PANIC ATTACKS ISN'T BURYING YOUR FACE ON YOUR S/O'S SHOULDER WHILE HE ROCKS YOU BACK AND FORTH IT'S FEELING OUT OF CONTROL AND LOSING OXYGEN

YOU CAN'T BE ALL 'BIPPITY BOPPITY BOO, THE HAPPINESS COMES TO YOU' OR SOME SHIT
I MEAN SURE YOUR S/O COULD HELP YOU BUT IT TAKES DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS, EVEN YEARS DEPENDING ON HOW INTENSE YOUR ILLNESS IS
I HATE PEOPLE WHO TREAT MENTAL ILLNESS AS A PLOT DEVICE
LIKE NO BITCH

SEND THIS TO EVERY AUTHOR WHO DOES THIS PLEASE THIS IS IMPORTANT

3) The reader is a Mary Sue
Example:
Y/N Nikiforov is Viktor's fifteen year old sister. She is equally stubborn as she is good at figure skating. One day she meets Yuri Plisetsky--

Oh fuck I can't continue I think you all know what's coming next

4) The dialogue is bland and the romantic stuff feels rushed and forced

5) These lines:
"I'm not like other girls"
"Ew that girl is such a slut. She keeps on wearing slutty clothes and keeps on seducing guys maybe that's why everyone hates her"
"I avoid girls because they cause too much drama"

Ladies, you are essentially teaching other young and impressionable teens that our sisters are shameful. It's bringing every women's rights protest and everyone who fought for others respecting us down. We are already shamed for being ourselves by a majority of men, we should all band together and stop the bullshit, we shouldn't fight each other and worsen it.

I think I've made my point

The reason why I want to make an x reader is that I know I won't be anti feminist and I would absolutely try make them as inclusive as possible

I tried to find good x readers to suggest to y'all and guess what

There were none

Instead I found...
- Using abuse as a plot device (just for the reader to feel sympathy towards the OC)
- OOC characters (yUrI pLiSeTsKy DoEs NoT sMiLe AlWaYs)
- Grammar almost as terrible as My Immortal
