It had been week since we got back to Kermitcraft.

Everyone was still not fully okay from fighting Kala. NPG was sharing a body with me when needed since he was missing an arm, unable to easily get around, and unable to speak but it took a lot of energy out of me.

Evil Xisuma(EX) had been trying to repair NPG but... He quickly found he was out of his league. So without telling anyone he sent a message to Grian on Hermitcraft asking for helping to repair NPG and it just so happened that Grian showed Xisuma as well.

Exy had been heading to check on NPG, knowing he couldn't do anything to help but hadn't told anyone yet. He didn't want them to panic... He stopped when he saw Fade going to visit him and smiled faintly. 

It was good that others were checking on him too... It gave him more time. He sighed and teleported to the rustic house out between Zoe and Molly's bases and pulled out his phone, sitting down at the table downstairs. 

He took a deep breath and started writing, hands shaky at first but quickly became stable and not even fifteen minutes later, he was finished.

He stood, made sure everything was correct, and sent it, hoping it would work...

Grian had been working on extending his Sahara St. house to be taller than Iskall's and Mumbo's, carefully moving about, placing more wood. He laughed as he looked over at Mumbo who stood on the ground staring at him. "Sorry Mumbo!" He called with a grin, watching the redstoner look down and supposedly sigh, shaking his head before heading into his house as well.

He had been doing fairly well so far and had only been working on it for about an hour and a half. He was taken off guard however by his phone buzzing in his pocket, disrupting his thoughts and startling him to the point of falling off the house. He quickly opened his elytra, turning over and pulling up to land safely in the grass. He panted for a moment, calming the adrenaline in his veins before pulling out his phone to see who messaged him but froze, eyes widening when he saw the contact.

He hesitated before texting Xisuma without opening the text he had received. When X replied, he took off to go meet up with him.

"Hey, Grian! You wanted to meet up?"

Grian landed and nodded, his hair ruffled from the wind. "Yeah, Did... Did you text me?"

X raised an eyebrow under his helmet. "No? Why?"

Grian hesitated before showing him the still unread message.

X's eyes widened. "EX? Why would he text you? Is he trying to get back in? It doesn't look like you opened it-"

Grian sighed. "I don't know the answer to any of that other than, yes I haven't opened it yet..."

X hesitated. "Open it. I can deal with whatever happens, if anything."

Grian nodded slowly and opened the message.

X had asked him to read it aloud and so he hesitantly read it all to him.

'Grian. I don't believe we have ever formally met. My name is Evil Xisuma. I am reaching out to you for a... strange and rather unfortunate circumstance. I know, seeing as you are the creator, are familiar with your android, NPC Grian? Well... Long story short, he is with me and we have been residing in a small non whitelisted server. Due to... I'm not sure how to explain it but interesting events, NPG, as we now call him, has become more human like in speech, movement, etc. But, it made another problem. Kalaraja is free. I know you know who I refer to for NPG tells me it was you who bound the two together. We'll discuss that later, but the two fought and NPG was badly damaged. I... Can't fix him. You are the only one I know to turn to at this point. Please. I've sent you the IP address to the server. All I ask is you come and repair him then you can go back to whatever it is you are doing.

And don't tell X where I am please. Thank you. -Evil Xisuma'

Grian had become pale and slightly shaky as he read before showing X the IP. "D-Do... Do you think we should go?"

X frowned, typing the address down. "I mean, I'm not sure what else to do here... He was asking for you but didn't want me there... I say we go." X replied.

Grian took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay... Meet you at the hub?"

X nodded. "Right. See you there."

X logged off leaving Grian alone for a moment to reread the letter. He took a shuddering breath as his eyes landed on the name once more.

Kalaraja.

He desperately hoped this was all a big joke... if not, well... This little server, heck, every server, world, and player were in danger here... Including himself.

He sighed and closed his eyes as he logged out and joined the hub.

We were all a little shook to see the notifications of them joining and went to check it out. Switch and Coal got there first and started the tension of finding out why Grian and X were here.

Becca and I showed up and also get the memo that they were here for NPG and EX. None of us were happy about this and tried to avoid it. It got really tense so X asked for a tour of the server to lower the tension.

We got about halfway through the shopping district to Baker Street when EX showed up and said that he invited them to help fix NPG. So with that, we gave in and took the hermits to NPG. X and EX had a rather accusing talk in the back with X accusing EX of tampering with us, but that was shelved when we got to the mini rustic house by Hollie's base where NPG was staying.

I brought out NPG and he freaked out when he saw Grian, screaming in my mind through our bond causing me to have a migraine. Eventually we got NPG to calm down enough to talk without making my head pound.

Grian approached, asked EX if this really was Kala's doing. Ex confirmed and Grian apologized for what happened to NPG. NPG slapped him, startling all of us but reluctantly allowed Grian to help fix him since he was the only one who could at that point. 

We moved to Switch's smith shop where there's supplies to get started on repairs. Becca, Coal, and I head out for different needed supplies. I ran into Zoe just in time for Kala to come back and attack us. 

Coal and Becca and EX soon joined the fight, I was protecting Zoe who had no idea what was going on, Switch and NPG started to have panic attacks while Grian and X are confused as all heck.

Kala found Grian and got waaaayyy too close for comfort, Grian realized what was going on and he was in SERIOUS danger. EX held down the smith shop and defended Switch and NPG.

Becca tackled Kala from midair with elytra, handed her elytra and fireworks to Grian and told him to get out of there. He took off while the fighters surrounded Kala and got some good hits on him before he disappeared to lick his wounds again.

Coal tried to calm Switch and NPG with help from EX. X and Zoe demanded explanations from Becca and I. We said we'd explain what we knew once we found Grian, because he knew more than we do in some aspects

X and Becca take off in direction of Diamonds base, Zoe and I head towards the roofed forest behind Baker Street (where we actually found Grian in the forest), EX and Coal stay behind to watch out for Switch and NPG.

Once we found Grian and returned to the Shopping district with him, we stopped by and picked up Seer as well who was very confused. 

We all went to the forge and asked Grian to give us the backstory of his history with Kalaraja and how NPG ended up bound to him or rather him to NPG. Some of us a bit more hostile in our tones then others...

"Why did you summon him in the first place?" Coal growled. 

"And what does he want with you?" Zoe asked, much calmer than Coal.

Grian flinched at the growl and shifted defensively. "I-I didn't summon him!" He replied back. "He just... Showed up! I don't know!" He sighed, taking a deep breath. "I... I was working on NPC at the time when he showed up... I have some guesses on why he was after me but none that are really... confirmed." He glanced at NPG who glared at him, eyes glowing. He cast a glance at Zoe for a moment, taking note of the question before continuing.

"I just remember working on his programming and designing the house I wanted him to build when he showed up. He... Heh, looked a lot more demon like then... But he just... He was... Civil? I guess? I remember him talking to me about..." he hesitated, glancing briefly at Xisuma, unsure what all he knew about his past.

"About Tokyo soul..." He closed his eyes, remembering multiple things, trying hard not to start shaking. "He mentioned the Nomicon which I was in possession of during that time... And how I was... 'Friends' with Chululu." he rubbed the back of his head slightly.

"He... He was impressed with me and my 'abilities' as he put it. He wanted me to join him. He offered a lot to me... Things some people would probably never pass up. But as he explained more to me, he mentioned the blood that would be shed and how the people would fear us.... I refused." He chuckled dryly.

"He didn't take that very well. He lashed out at me and tried to kill me. I panicked. Vague memories filled my head as I ran to my house, not far from where I had been working, Kala not far behind. My eyes landed on NPC..." He couldn't bring himself to look at anyone.

"I... I let the memories resurface from my time with the nomicon and I don't really remember much about that but when I came too, Kala was gone and NPC was still standing there but his eyes glowed a venomous red as he started trying to yell at me. It was fragmented and broken and mostly binary. I turned him off and reset him, hoping that would just be the end of that. And It seemed to be at least for a while. I finished programming him and was starting to make the video for his release when suddenly when I refused to make a rustic house for the 5th or so time, his eyes glowed red and his voice glitched saying, 'You will make a house with me, Grian. You will make more houses.'" He shuddered a little at the memory. It had thoroughly frightened him. He had left it in the video simply cause it felt a bit with the script...

He closed his eyes again. "When I tried to agree, he stopped me... in a blink of an eye, he was covered in blood, staining his hands, face, shirt, e-everything..." His voice shook a little. "Saying, 'It's too late, Grian. If you can't make a rustic house, nobody can...' H-He forced me to restart the one I had started and rebuild it. Only then did he really calm down... He only had smaller episodes like that from then on but... I was terrified of him. I put him in my closet and rarely let him out..." He sensed the glare from NPG growing more intense and shifted. 

"I... I abandoned him there when I went to Evo then to Hermitcraft, honestly for a time... I forgot about him... So when I found out he was here, I was shocked." He sighed, not meeting any gazes, shifting slightly at how vulnerable he felt at the moment with all the eyes on him and opening up things he rather forget. "And I believe you lot can explain the rest from there..."

Unfortunately much of the rest of this story is lost and I and the others only recall bits and pieces so forgive me if its a bit of a strange and jumpy retelling from here.

After Grian told his side of the story, he had become a bit skittish and closed off because X didn't react the best but a conversation between them later eased that up along with X promising not to tell anyone on hermitcraft till he was ready.

I remember we told them what had been happening here and firmly telling them that under no circumstances were they going to take them if they didn't want to go and that they weren't going to fight Kala on their own either. 

They reluctantly agree and we start making plans and give them a place to stay at Baker Street.

We work on fixing NPG the next day only for Kala to try and mostly fail to possess Becca and spooking everyone and a small spat between Grian and NPG when he tried to restrain him and keep him from running which resulted in NPG just about killing him and threats in binary. Exy talked him down but Grian did fall of the roof. He was winded but fine. It wasn't that high.

But we got everyone fixed up and NPG was thrilled with his new eyes and arm and reluctantly eased up on radiating hatred at Grian.

We go to the library the next day looking for info on kala but find very little. 

Grian finds a weird glitched book and seems to get obsessed with it. X tries to take it away from him but he refuses to put it down. We forcibly take it and he passes out. 

Grian stayed near Hollies and took her cat named after Mumbo with him as comfort. He and Becca stay the night in one of Hollie's village homes. 

They meet back up with the others the next day. The book continues to cause problems and Becca flees to her mountain with it as Grian attacked us. He passed a bit later after glitching? and doesn't remember much from it but knows enough. He had hurt X and left claw marks in his helmet.

I recall the Watchers showing up and telling us more about Kala and why they are interested in Grian. He was partly a watcher himself. If Kala had that power then everyone would be doomed.

Becca is bothered by the book and was influenced to go into her river and she ended up drowning. We rushed to help but she won't respawn and we were all saddened and confused. We planned a funeral for her but she was stuck in spectator. She watched us sadly.

X and Grian take it a lot harder as they feel guilty getting us involved and us losing one of our own. 

That night we all grieved in our own ways. X and I had a heart to heart and I revealed secrets about myself to him. The magic bracelet that is clearly not from minecraft of any kind as I can summon a moonwhite pistol and sword along with a set of armor. He's really impressed by it and I ask him about a world beyond this universe and he's just confused, oops. But we bond over mod/admin responsibilities and our desire to protect others.

The next day we have the funeral. 

But soon Kala showed up while X was on the stage and attacked him. He did his best to defend himself while we rushed to help. Grian and NPG both stayed back. Kala teleported around and when he was about to do a bad attack to X from the back, I teleported with commands and took it instead by tackling X out of the way. 

X was horrified and Seer attacked and distracted Kala. I handed over my bracelet to Xisuma knowing it could help and OPed him and passed out. 

They finally chased Kala away and they all took a moment before rushing to help. X spawned in a bed and they laid me down on it.

Switch snapped at Grian and X when they try to offer their apologies. Grian doesn't take that well. 

X met my moonbeam living in my bracelet, Aramis, and started learning how to use my bracelet.

Becca found out she could possess her parrot, Paint, and tried to tell us she was there through him.

Switch turned out to be possessed by Kala and attacked them and X with the help of Aramis used my sword to purge him and Switch passed out. The sword doesn't physically hurt anyone but only hurts malice entities, spirits, and the like. 

We did eventually find out about Becca and work to help her. 

Coal lost control of her eldritch form and Becca tried to help by going into her mindscape. 

I had woken up and took the bracelet back for the time being and used it to help Coal get back in control and in turn I had hit Becca and that's what she needed to respawn. 

She respawned in a new outfit and we found out she had watcher abilities which she hated. Grian was relieved to have another with him but understood her pain. 

Fade had gone on a journey and changed her name to Avery and embraced her past and became a bird celestial, gaining wings and coming back to help us out when the glitched book went after Grian again. 

We finally get rid of the book and things calm down a bit but Grian started becoming more watcher like which included dragon wings, claws and horns and he panicked. He eventually got it sorta under control.

We headed to the library again and X told us he really needed to head back to Hermitcraft. Grian didn't want to go back the way he was but when the watchers appeared again, they were surprised to see both his and Becca's new forms and reversed it for Grian who was incredibly grateful. 

They thanked us and departed once again. X and Grian were now ready to leave. We had a heartfelt goodbye and promises to keep in touch. We take a photo together as well. Before they left NPG approached Grian and hugged him close, thanking him, grateful for his help. Grian apologized for his past again and NPG forgave him and they made promises to try to do better and keep in touch. 

They leave the server and we go back to Becca's house. Switch and Becca however started to have a spat about their abilities and the growing energy from them both ended up crashing the server... This what I experienced.

Molly looked around as the world around her slowed to a still.

Oh no... she glanced at Seer and kept her grip hoping that they'd stay together before blacking out as the server seemed to go hyper speed.

NPG looked around, slowly standing from his spot behind Molly. "G-guys?" He called out seeing them all standing still. "Guys?" He tried again moving out from behind Molly and continued to try to get their attention but no one was responding to him at all and he started to panic.

Molly gasped as she jerked awake at her computer desk and stared at the logged out screen displayed on her monitor. "Server shut down" error. That's not good... She quickly dismissed it and tried to refresh the connection but a red x remained at the connection symbol every time.
She ran a hand through her hair before standing up and starting to place trying her hardest not to panic and jumped at a knock at her door.

"Molly?"

She turned to the door and opened it, blinking in surprise at Danny, one of her close friends from one of her adventures.

"Molly, what's wrong? Are you okay?"

She looked confused at his question as he reached his hand out and brushed her cheek, wiping tears from them.

Wait, I was crying? She thought to herself confused before blushing a little. "It's-"

"Something. Obviously." he cut her off and she sighed and nodded.

"A server I play on crashed..."

"There's something more, isn't there?"

She sat down in her desk chair. "I can't hide anything from you, can I?"

He smiled reassuringly and sat on her bed. "Nope."

She smiled back a little before taking a deep breath. "It's another world. One I can travel too. And it just... cast me out... my friends were there... I don't know what happened to them... I'm really worried, I can't reconnect!"

Danny frowned as she started to cry again and took her hand. "Hey," she looked up at him. "If anyone can figure out what to do, its you." He told her confidently.

She blushed a little again and nodded slightly. "Thank you Danny."

He smiled. "Anytime. Now, is there any other way you could get back?"

Molly hummed and looked at her bracelet. "Well... There was the hub..." She thought out loud before grinning. "That's it! Thanks Danny!" She hopped up and hugged him which he returned.

"Of course. Go find your friends. And be safe." He told her as she went and laid down on the bed.

She nodded. "I will. I promise." She replied, smiling at him before closing her eyes and passing out.

"Goodluck, my angel." He muttered softly before leaving her room and closing the door behind him.

Molly opened her eyes as she spawned in the hub and looked around, hoping to spot a familiar face. She opened her mouth to call out before stopping. That was probably not going to work. She sighed and moved over to the cafe tables near the center fountain and sat at an empty table, eagerly watching the door to the world portal areas for any sign of someone she knew.

Hours became days before she knew it. She had fallen asleep up against the wall by the portals entry. People passing by gave her weird looks but didn't approach her. One of the people who stopped did a double take and slowly came over. 

"Molly?" X muttered before his eyes widened and rushed to her. "Molly!"

She woke up and was spooked but upon realizing it was X, started crying and hugged him. "Xisuma! Thank goodness..." She sobbed.

X held her close before pulling back, knowing they were drawing some attention. "Here, come with me. You can tell me everything once we get somewhere secure." He helped her up and with a bit of typing on his arm console and offered his hand. "Alright. This way." 

She followed after him and was surprised when he brought her into the youtuber area that you had to scan an ID to get in. He led her to the higher security area and to the Hermitcraft portal. "Don't worry. I told them we'd be having a guest. Grian is waiting at spawn for you." 

Molly stared at him in shock. "X, I-I couldn't-"

He shook his head. "Molly, you and your friends opened up your home to us and let us stay as long as we needed. Please, this is the least I can do for you in return." 

She gave a shaky smile and a quick hug before walking in taking a deep breath.

I proceeded to stay with the Hermits for a while, meeting a few of them as well. I told X and Grian what had happened and both agreed to keep an eye out for them but that I was allowed to stay on the server for as long as I needed.

Eventually we did all find each other again except... no one could find NPG. We looked and looked but he was no where to be found. We had to move on without him. Our hearts were heavy with the thought of him being gone for good as our server was given new life and a new season started.
