One: Lara

Greetings and salutations, my name is Lara. I suppose I have to introduce myself before we can move on to the story. I like order. By liking order, I also like rules that maintain order. Since I have to be like that, I do my best to follow them. People may not like me for being orderly but it's who I am. I like being predictable and that's as straightforward about this as I can be. Not that you are acquainted with who I am, let us move on to the story.

I had just finished with my studies and I thought now was time for a well deserved break. I would have gotten a light snack before going back to study but mother had insisted on me taking the day off. I don't know why mother would suggest something like this but it seems I have to do as she says. After all, I am the child and she is the parent.

I walked out of my house gazing upon the black clouds in the sky. The sight made me feel a bit at ease as I was outside. I walked around for a while. As I walk I think about the possibilities of what this can do for me. The walking is exercise and this exercise will be beneficial for me as the blood will flow to my brain faster allowing me to think quicker and better.

I was walking until I stumbled upon an antique store. It looked a bit odd but maybe that is how the owner wanted it to look.

I walked in and I started browsing around until I came across an old flute. It seemed intriguing. Next to it was an ocarina but that didn't seem to interest me. A piano? A violin? The violin seemed to interest me the most.

I turned my head to see if anyone was around and I saw to individuals who I loathe. One of them is a roudy girl who seems to have zero cares about life and herself. The other is the laziest person I have ever met.

I chose not to pay any attention to the two. If I did do so then I would regret it as conflict would quickly take place between the three of us.

I paid attention back to the violin. I picked it up and I tested it out. When playing it I felt calm and tranquil. I had a smile on my straight face. I wanted this. If not studying I could practice the violin. I took it to the counter where the manager, who happened to the store owner, was sitting.

I was about to ask for the price of the violin but I could not as the owner had asked me to keep watch over the store. Usually she would close it herself but she had to go outside to pick up a certain package.

I won't question what she had to get but I am feeling proud that she could see I am a good authority figure. I have one job and that job is to make sure nobody tries anything foolish.

I watched around until I had noticed that the lazy member of my class was walking to toward the back of the store. I cannot allow this to happen. I followed him so I could stop him there and then.

When walking in the back I found both of the unsavoury individuals from my class here.

"What are you two hooligans doing in here? The rules of the store clearly state that nobody except the owner is allowed at the back." I asked, making my presence known to the two troublemakers.

"Yet you're here." The lazy one said. "Yeah, besides we aren't at school so take that stick out of your ass." Those words added by the foolish, irresponsible girl. This behaviour upset me greatly.

"You two think you're in a position to be giving orders? I swear, I dread my time with you at school and anywhere else. This is why I told mother to put me in a boarding school." Just why? Why does this thing have to happen me?

I watched as the two left while I was talking. Not only do they have terrible personalities, they have terrible manners too. I walked toward them once more to scold them for their rude actions toward me and the good rules of this antique shop. As i scolded the girl, the boy dressed in black grabbed a cloth and pulled it, exposing what it was covering. That thing was a mirror.

This is so strange. Was this mirror unique? It has to be considering that it is about the same size as all of us.

"Hey guys, are reflections supposed to look different?" The lazy boy asked getting our complete attention. I look forward see my reflection and I'm wearing different clothes. Black clothes, skinny jeans with a sweater was on the other girl's reflection. The boy seems to have a bright clothing style and I see my reflection. My hair colour is different, my clothing style is random. This is very odd.

"I'm gonna touch it." Says the roudy girl as she approaches the mirror. This was as far as I could take it. "Are you insane? We're in enough trouble as it is. We're not allowed to touch anything unless we're paying for it." I told her.

"Sheesh, if we can't touch anything, how will we know that the things we're buying aren't defective?" This girl asked her me. I then thought about it. She is right about testing the quality of the products, but then again she is breaking the rules of the store. Which point is correct here?

I kept on thinking trying to come up with a conclusion until I was met with a blinding flash.

I don't know what was happening all I know is that I had this odd tingling sensation that jolted across my body. I opened my eyes to see myself and along with the other two in another room. We all walked out to see that we were in the antique store. The strange thing about it was that is was a reverse of the one we knew. All the colours around here were different. I look outside to see blue skies and white clouds.

I don't know where we are, but I'm sure we're not in our world. Not, I refuse to believe that. Hopefully this is a dream and I'll wake up soon because there's no way that this is real. Right?
