"That's all?"

"What do you mean that's all, of course that's all. What more do you want me to bring?"

San looks at the tattered luggage bag near his feet, watching as Danbi struggles to zip it. The bag is overstuffed that even as she is putting all her weight on it she can't make the two zippers meet. She flops down on her belly on the bag, tired of fighting with trying to secure all contents inside.

"Are you sure that's all?" San asks again. "Every single one of your belongings that you wanted to bring... back home is inside that bag. Just this one bag."

She looks up while she's sprawled on the bag like a turtle, her neck buried making it seem like she's only a head and body. "Well yeah, I don't have much stuff. Some clothes, some toiletries, some memorabilia, that's all. If you don't notice, Choi San, our house can't fit in much anyway. Three people living here is enough to take up all of the space we have here."

"Hongjoong, do you think we should bring this rice cooker with us?" Mingi shouts from the kitchen, with Jongho trailing behind him, being the person that is tasked to help him gather up the things that they would want to bring to their new home. In his arms are already several foodstuff that they insist on bringing to make sure nothing goes to waste.

"Just leave it! I'm pretty sure the house would have a rice cooker, right?" Hongjoong sticks out his head from their room, looking at Seonghwa who's insistent on standing outside their bedroom despite being tasked to help Hongjoong with packing. "And what are you doing there, you're supposed to help!" He pulls a struggling Seonghwa into the room, immediately instructing him to help fold the clothes neatly into the luggage.

Yunho and Wooyoung is going out for a bit to get them some drinks, already taking their orders while claiming that they'll be back soon.

"It's just-" San starts as he crouches next to her before taking one zipper and trying to move it while she's still perched on the bag. "I've never seen a girl with so little stuff." He successfully moves the zipper inch by inch, almost covering the upper side of the bag. "Wait, don't move; your weight is helping."

Without moving and looking at the bag she mumbles, "Then I either suggest you to see or meet more girls. Clearly you don't know much about girls-" Her breath gets stuck in her throat as she comes face to face with him, who's still trying to zip the whole length of the bag.

San is not looking at her as he's still focused on the zipper, even though their faces are only some inches apart. He doesn't notice how she has gone quiet abruptly, so he thought she was done with talking.

He replies, "I guess so. I've never dated anyone so I don't know much about girls." Then his eyes automatically go to her and they stare at each other for an awkward moment before he fumbles. "Come to think of it maybe I did date someone. In high school, but it was just some stupid love. I was 15 I think. Long time ago."

"Ah, I see." She doesn't know how to respond. She has no idea what made him to suddenly include that information; not like she wanted to know about it. Not one bit.

"I mean- I have no idea why I told you that but yeah, I guess I need to meet more girls. Just to... diversify my opinions of them."

This time she manages to give a breathy laugh that takes him offguard. "Aren't you just scared of them?"

"I'm not," he huffs, slightly pouting. Then he slowly backtracks, "Maybe just a little bit. Especially after seeing you."

She rolls her eyes before smiling. "I don't simply punch anyone without reason. Well- Yeosang was a bit of an emotional impulse."

San laughs awkwardly. "That just gives off the notion that you punch someone every other day."

Her stare is enough to tell him that it is definitely the case.

"Oh," he says simply.

"If no one does anything to me, I won't give them anything back. It's a buy 1 get 1 basis."

Before he could reply anything, they hear a snap and both of them look down instinctively only to find the bag's zipper broken. He looks at it with wide eyes before attempting to hook the puller back to the bridge, but the bridge is already broken before he's left to clench the puller in his fist and give an awkward smile to her.

"Um, well. I guess I pulled it too strongly," he concludes then quickly adds before pulling his head back, "please don't punch me."

She blinks before frowning. "Do I really give the impression that I'd punch someone just because of a little mistake? Damn."

"You did punch Yeosang without me seeing that coming."

"Neither did he. I said I was emotional."

"Well you made me emotionally scarred from seeing that."

She sighs. "I'm sorry. I just couldn't stand people belittling Mingi and Hongjoong." They hear both said people to be fighting over the fermented pants once again, with Mingi insisting on bringing it to their new home while Hongjoong says he's about to throw it into an open fire and spread the ashes in the ocean.

"You must really love them. The three of you aren't related but your bond is stronger than," he pauses, thinking back to his own, "a real family."

"I guess I can't compare something when I've never actually experienced it."

She splays out her hand in front of San's face and in one odd moment he was thinking that she's asking to hold his hand, before a second passes and he realizes that she's actually asking for the broken zipper. Slightly embarrassed and hoping that she did not notice the brief thought he had, he lets her take the puller from his palm as she tries zipping the bag with the one left. With one last pull while still lying down on the bag, she manages to zip the bag before letting out a huge breath.

"Delivery!" Yunho shouts as he comes under the door, holding up their orders as Wooyoung sidles up to him, holding the other four drinks in a carrier tray.

Like they are sheep being herded on a field, they gather at the small common area, waiting for their drinks to be served. San and Danbi immediately move away from the luggage, while the other four zoom straight out of the room as if the drinks are some kind of a magnet to them. Wooyoung and Yunho are like mother birds giving some food to their babies, handing over the drinks while each of them excitedly sip on them, the exhaustion of scouring through the house, despite small, taking over them.

"Are you done with packing?" Wooyoung asks, but he doesn't know why the first person he's thinking of looking at is Danbi, when there are the other six men with him.

"We're not done yet," Mingi announces, bringing back the attention to him. He takes the carbonated drink before gulping it down and wiping his mouth with his sleeve, saying, "We have a lot to pack, and both of you, especially you," he points to Wooyoung, "just because you're a billionaire doesn't mean you can get away without doing any work. All the boxes that we put our belongings in, you have to carry them to the vehicle."

San and Yunho chuckle seeing Wooyoung flustered; it seems that he didn't expect that he would do any heavy work when he insisted on coming here. No one knows why he's insistent on abandoning his office work for today and trailing them to the rooftop house, even going as far as telling them that he'd have to go when it's noon as he has to pick up his brother from school. When they told him that he doesn't have to waste his energy coming here since 7 people are more than enough to move out the things inside the house, he quickly chips in saying that it doesn't matter.

Jongho nudges Wooyoung, whispering, "Were you seriously expecting that you'd just come here and watch? Look, even Hongjoong and Mingi are watching over you like vultures."

Wooyoung takes a look at them and sure enough, the two housemates are staring at him sharply, as if they're scrutinizing his every move. When he leans his body towards the left, their eyes follow and so the same happens when he leans to the right.

"They look like they're about to murder me," he whispers back to the youngest. "Should I be worried?"

"And you seriously have no idea why they're acting that way to you?" Seonghwa says with a normal tone, while Wooyoung gives him a glare to ask him to keep it on the low. Luckily, besides the two housemates staring like they're about to eat him, no one else is paying attention to them.

"What do you mean?" Wooyoung frowns.

Seonghwa rolls his eyes. "You're telling me you're the CEO of some company with some weird-ass name yet you can't read the situation?"

He only shrugs.

"Well, for starters, you're not even supposed to be here yet you're the one who invited yourself. Why?" Seonghwa asks rhetorically, sipping on his strawberry smoothie as he bites on the paper straw. He continues, "You're the boyfriend of someone who looks like Danbi, so all I'm saying is that they don't trust you. They're branding you as someone who might take advantage of their housemate."

"Why do you sound so sure that they're feeling that way about me? Maybe they just, I don't know, are wary towards strangers."

"I would say that but won't you look at that," Seonghwa juts his chin out to bring the attention to Mingi and Yunho, who are wrestling with each other on the floor without absolutely no one telling them to. "How are they acting like they've been best friends since forever even though we technically met on the same day? It's just you."

Wooyoung looks sulky at the mention of this, even more so as he sees the rest laughing among themselves, the housemates blending in with the bodyguards while the CEO is merely a guest they had to take in. He tucks his long hair behind his ears, slightly huffing before swiping his drink off the table and sucking on it noisily. He does it until he's down to the bottom of the cup, sucking on a mixture of air and liquid, making noise until the others slowly stop what they're doing and turn to look at him.

"May I help you?" Hongjoong's eyebrows knit when they look at the billionaire.

What he needs is attention and he'll die without it, but he's not about to admit that. "I was just wondering on which boxes I need to carry to the vehicle. The one that I can and will do," Wooyoung emphasizes while looking at Mingi.

"Ah, maybe you can help with my luggage, since I'm done with it," Danbi offers, already standing up before moving over to the luggage that her and San had fought with. "The zipper's a bit cuckoo so you have to be careful with it."

"Sure, I can do that," he emphasizes again, side-eyeing Mingi as he moves over to the luggage, intending to lift up the bag with only one hand, but he clearly underestimated the weight of the bag when he can't even lift it up from the ground. He can feel some already starting to subdue their laughter as he almost slips on the floor, dragged down by the weight of the luggage.

"Are you... okay?" she asks while peering over his shoulder.

"I'm fine! Absolutely fine." He waves her away over his shoulder, claiming, "The rest of you can go and deal with other stuff. You don't have to worry about me, I can handle this alone."

"Sure you can," Jongho says under his breath.

"If the other zipper gives way someone is about to get punched again," San laments.

With all his might he heaves up the luggage, the flimsy wheels and uneven weight not helping in balancing the luggage upright. Again, with his damn socks he's trying to stop himself from slipping while holding on to the handle of the bag. With wobbly legs he manages to stand straight while supporting the weight of the bag against his legs before he huffs and moves his hair out of his face.

There are some of the spectators who look concerned, with Danbi, Yunho and San being one of them while the rest are only enjoying the gag show they're getting from the CEO's struggle to lift up the bag. Mingi is already whipping out his phone and recording, mumbling under his breath about how it would be useful for blackmailing him later on.

Steadying himself, Wooyoung uses both of his hands while he slightly crouches to wheel the luggage towards the direction of the main door, pretending that everything is fine in the world even though he currently feels like he's a baby deer only learning how to walk. Danbi is trailing behind him, looking over his shoulder, worried that he might accidentally fall down. He manages to stop in front of the door, but that's the least of his problem; he has to lift up the bag to get it out of the house as the floor is slightly elevated.

"I can help-" she starts but he quickly cuts her off with a "No worries I'm fine, absolutely!"

"Don't you think we should help him?" Yunho's forehead creases as he twirls his empty cup on the table. "He doesn't sound fine."

"He doesn't look fine," San adds.

"Does he even know how to pull a luggage, or does his secretary do that for him every time?" Jongho asks.

Seonghwa chuckles lowly. "But he said he's absolutely fine. We'll see how it goes."

Feeling like he's about to pop off some veins with one loud grunt he carries the bag up the elevated ground, managing to put it outside but it topples over before he manages to save it. With a curse under his breath he strides over to the fallen bag, this time using both of his hands to pull it up. He simply shoves his feet inside his canvas shoes, pressing down on the ends with his heels.

Then comes his nightmare. The stairs.

He gulps when he sees the steps, with him standing at the top of the stairs while holding on to the luggage like he's holding on to his only life. He turns around to see Danbi a few metres away from him, clearly believing that he definitely needs help. Refusing to lower down his ego he turns back to the luggage before grabbing the handle with both of his hands, already taking the first step down.

He miscalculates the landing with the weight of the bag pulling him down and he slips. He doesn't have time to screech as his first instinct is to let go of the bag while his brain thinks about how he's about to save himself from having his head split open. He only manages to watch for a few seconds the luggage tumbling down the steps, bouncing like it's a ping-pong ball before it cracks open, the zipper completely undone and the contents flying out.

"Jung Wooyoung-" is what he hears before his body is pulled back, someone saving him from violently crashing down the stairs.

Danbi is the one who pulled him away, the situation making him red in the cheeks when he realizes that she has one arm tightly gripping his waist while they are squashed against each other on the ground. She quickly removes herself, clicking her tongue in dissatisfaction before turning her gaze to the bottom of the stairs. She sees another girl gasping in horror, narrowly avoiding the luggage from hitting her.

It's their landlord, Oh Jinju.

"Are you-" she wants to ask to the girl but she sees something zooming in front of her, with the said apparition moving down the stairs in the speed of light and appearing in front of their landlord.

"Are you okay?" Hongjoong asks the girl, looking around to make sure that she's not hurt. "Did the luggage hit you?"

"N- no," Jinju stutters, both from the shock of the luggage almost slamming into her body and the fact that the Kim Hongjoong is talking to her. "I- uh, I'm fine. I came around because I heard that the three of you are planning to move out." She sounds slightly sad, but tries to hide it by tapping her foot against the cement.

"We, uh," Hongjoong finds it hard to find the words with her too, scratching the back of his head as he bites his lower lip. "We're moving out, but I might come around some time to- I mean, we might come around some time here so maybe we'll bump into each other."

The rest are gathered at the top of the stairs, trying to register the accident that just happened. Danbi and Mingi are having their jaws dropped, not believing that their housemate is actually taking this opportunity to flirt with their landlord... when they're already about to move out. Talk about shooting your shot.

"Is he doing what I think he's doing?" Jongho asks.

"Is he flirting?" Seonghwa says with a hint of disgust on his face as if he's smelt something horrible. He points a finger while turning to Danbi, "Is that tiny guy actually flirting while your luggage is dying on the floor?"

"Trust us, we're in shock too," Mingi rubs his eyes as if he can make the scene disappear. "This is not Hongjoong; he's never done this before."

"Did any one of you perhaps hit him in the head when you're tidying up our stuff?" Danbi asks around. "You know, with the rice cooker or something? Seonghwa, you seem to hate him, did you or did you not bash his head with a rice cooker trying to exact your revenge on him for hitting your head multiple times even though you just met?"

"Trust me, that's what I've wanted to do since yesterday but I have yet to find the opportunity."

Oblivious to the disdain expressed by the others, Hongjoong carries on. "I was thinking that um, since we're moving out and we may not bump into each other as often... I was thinking that maybe we can go out sometimes."

Jinju presses her lips together, thinking about how absolutely horrible Hongjoong's attempt in trying to ask her out is, but she likes it anyway. She tries to control the smile she has before nodding. "Sure. I mean, I have your number anyway but we never actually talked about anything besides about the rental. So I'm quite surprised that you're... asking me out so suddenly."

"I learnt a thing or two about being impulsive from Danbi," he replies, which earns a giggle from Jinju. "So it's a date?"

"If that's what you want to call it," she smiles, "then it's a date."

"Oh dear he got her," San comments.

Distracted by the scene of her brother suddenly confessing to the girl he likes as if it's a miracle, Danbi almost forgot about her gaping luggage and the contents strewn around. When she does realize what has gone out, she mumbles a "shit" before flying down the stairs, picking up every bits and pieces that she does not want to display to the men. She shoves them back in the bag, throwing the luggage close before sitting on top of it.

She rests her elbow against her knee, placing her chin on her palm before looking at the two lovebirds. "It's nice seeing you, Jinju. Looks like my brother finally got out of his cowardly shell and asked you out. Congrats to both of you but please, I do need help with my luggage because all my dignity that's left in this bag has ceased."

San and Jongho automatically head back into the house, searching for something else to put Danbi's belongings in, while Seonghwa, Yunho and Mingi dutifully go down the stairs to greet Jinju. Despite the landlord wanting to ask how did Danbi manage to gather all good-looking men under one roof, she doesn't. Instead, she joins in the party to gather all the stuff that flew out of the luggage.

The only one who hasn't moved ever since the luggage flew down the stairs is Wooyoung. He's still sitting on the cemented floor, hands on his laps as his shoulders slump. His body is still but the organ pumping his blood is beating erratically, either from the adrenaline of nearly having an accident or something else.

But that's what he's scared of.

The something else.
