Where Veronica and Bruno are forced to go with their cousins Alfonse and Sharena to someone their parents only keep referring to as Uncle Feh. Sometime on the way there, the bus or whatever is attacked and a masked superhero like guy shows up and saves them.

Afterwards, the 4 kids find themselves with Uncle Feh after passing out due to the injuries from the attack so the guy that saved them had to take them to him and introduces himself as a gem.

And then it's a whole bunch of fluff and a little bit of war in there. I just wanted an excuse to write Modern!Veronica and something for myself.

Gems Decided so Far:

Gray Diamond (Fates! Ariel. Since it doesn't follow SU canon that much, why not indulge?)

Matte Green Pearl (Anthony. Gray's personal Pearl. Seen more as her best friend than anything)

Fire Opal (Roy, a fusion)

Red Pearl (Eliwood, a stranded Pearl who Gray took in. Part of Fire Opal)

Snow Quartz (Conrad, Gray's knight and the one who saved the kids)

Obsidian (Berkut, Gray's other knight who does not like the fact that he's been getting attacked all too often)

Moonstone (Reinhardt, a gem that was left to die until Gray Diamond and Matte found him)

Sunstone (Lukas, a gem that was semi defective because his kind is known for their battle spirit and was unable to keep up with his mates on that aspect. Gray took him in after hearing about him going to be poofed)

There are more but I'm too lazy to look at my notes. Also the Diamonds are ok with Gray having their defects/prisoners since they weren't going to be used for anything better since something happened in the story to where she doesn't have a kingdom and had to leave for earth so she scrapped up as many gems as she could before leaving.
