POV) Cindy

I hated her, that girl who looked like me, talked like me, but me? No, never. She is mean, bossy, and best friends with Mira, but here, in Greenever, as Jenny(MY MOM) informed me, is called Mia, here she is nice, I don't belive it.

"So, are you and James hanging out after school again?" Mia asked Candy(she might look like me but act? No, dress no way, never.) I would never wear pink short skirts and pink tank tops with make-up, pink flats, with long, thin, chains that always seem to get in my way.

Mia told me today was they first day back at school, so I listened up. Wondering what everyone else will be like, I wonder what will happen with Lindy, I asked Mia and she said no one goes to school by that name, so I guess I'll find out on my own.

"Yeah." Candy said, bitting her lip, another thing I wouldn't do.

"I know that tone, are you going to dump him?" Mia asked, did I hear hope in her voice?

"I don't know, he's just to sweet, he should be more manly, or am I asking to much? It's not like he's a baby..." Candy sighted, and shook her head. I didn't feel safe, we were in my dream car- her car- it had blue, shiny, paint, and moved with ease, but Candy was a bad driver- she already missed two stop signs.

Mia laughed, "Oh I don't know, you don't want someone to manly- he might try to eat worms on a dare or something gross like that." Well, she had a point. "Since your going to be busy with James I'm going to take Cindy out and get her some real clothes." Mia added.

"Oh no. I like my jeans and understated T-shirts just fine." I gulped, not pink, not heels, anything but that.

They both laughed. Great. Mia might have responed but Candy pulled into the high school then, Mia handed me my class list and had put stars next to the ones that her or Candy were in. Which all but two.

Out of the car Mia started messing with my hair with a shake of her head, I had to lock myself in the guess room all moring because Candy and her tried to dress me up.

"James!" Candy yelled and ran, throwing her arms around... Brett.

"Hey babe." Was his answer, spining her around in a circle.

When the let go-all but there hands- James looked at me. "So your my Candy's Sister?" He asked with a wink. He was being nice, wait, that's what Mia and Candy said, James was nice.

Huh, Candy let him in on our secret, Brett coldn't keep a secret, well I hope James can."Hi, I'm James." He said coming up to me and offering his hand, which I shook.

Candy laughed and retook his hand, "Come on, let's go." She said, giggling. I don't giggle.

"See you at lunch." James called to both of us, Mia and me, over his shoulder.

Candy looked back over her own shoulder just long enough to give me a death glare before turning back around and headed into the school with James.

Mia laughed, "Don't worry, she'll come around." she looked at me before adding, "You okay?"

I paused, then said "I think, but this is all completely twisted." Mia laughed and took my hand, pulling me along while she skipped to the scool.
