POV) Mia

Cindy was mad, I didn’t blame her, I never seen Caine act like this. I looked up in the mirror, my eyes locked with Jace’s, we had been dating for a month, we never told Candy or James, we didn’t want to see what they would say, nothing good, though.

I heard a sniff, it was very soft. I looked at Cindy in shock, she was crying, Caine made her so mad she was crying. Unfortunately I was not the only one who heard. I winced as his vice began, one more hour in a car with them, maybe Caine shouldn’t have come.

“Are you crying?” He asked, startled.

“No!” Cindy snapped.

“I didn’t know you cried.” Caine responded.

“I SAID I WASN’T CRYING!” Cindy screamed, I nearly wrecked because I hadn’t expected her to scream.

It shut Caine up though, so her plan worked, she sniffed in peace now. I looked up in the mirror, Jace and Caine were shocked, Caine even looked guilty. Good.

The ride was long, it passed with only the sniffs of Cindy, and soon they stopped as well. At last we go to Flags-Of-Six. Cindy laughed, “I wanted to come here before.”

I smiled, “Good, we should spit up,” I said, smiling, “Jace and Caine-“ I wound have continued but Caine stopped me.

“Cindy and I will go get the wrist bands, you and Jace do whatever else.” He said, Cindy looked mad.

“NO! I’m going with Mia.” Caine sighed, he wasn’t hearing it.

Caine went to Cindy and dragged her off to the gates, she tried to get away, but to no use. Cindy hit, screamed, kicked, and I think even, bit, but Caine did not let go.

Jace laughed.

“How is that funny?” I demanded.

“Caine had girlfriends but never acted like this.” He said, taking my hand.

“Poor Cindy.” I whispered.

“Poor Caine, he must be freaking inside, I wish Cindy came sooner. Do Caine some good to act human once and awhile.” Jace said, grinning.

I laughed, it was an old joke, us thinking of what kind of animal Caine was, in the end we picked a rattle snake. Ever since Cindy came things have changed, and even though it was selfish I wanted her to stay just as much as Jace did.
