The Next Day

Izuku and the rest of the class did their daily routine and attended their classes as usual. The classes that day were good for Izuku. No project, a little bit of homework, long lectures, and a not so busy infirmary. The day was good and went by fast.

Right now Izuku was choosing what to wear since Mirio didn't tell him about what he was planning. He wasn't sure if what he will pick be appropriate to where they will be going. In the end, he chose to wear the clothes he was sure will go with whatever the older teen has planned. Izuku wore his favorite All Might outfit. He really hoped the outfit was okay.

After changing and preparing everything he needs, Izuku went down to the common room to wait until Mirio will text him that he was near the dorm building. He saw most of his classmates hanging around the room. A few were watching the news, others were either chatting around or playing a game. He greeted them and sat down beside Jiro and Tokoyami. When he sat down Yaoyorozu asked him how he was adjusting to UA so far. They engage in conversation for a few minutes before Izuku's cellphone rang. He answered and Mirio told him to meet him at the school gate. Izuku excuse himself and proceed to meet up with the older teen. 

Unknown to Izuku, a few of the girls were guessing where he was going to. Uraraka suggested a date which gained the attention of all the girls in the room and a few of the guys.

"Do you think Midoriya has a girlfriend or maybe a boyfriend?" Ashido asked.

"Maybe, but nobody knows Midoriya that much since he's new and I don't think Bakugo will be willing to tell us anything we weren't allowed to know. Kero" Asui answered.

"Do you think we can still be able to follow him?" Hagakure asked. 

When she said that, Iida overheard her question and began to start his lecture on proper behavior and respecting other people's privacy. 

Izuku soon saw Mirio waiting for him at the school gate. The older teen was wearing a white long sleeve and dark blue jeans. They complement each other and proceed to go to whatever the older teen planned for them. 

Their first stop was the arcade. The two spend some time playing various games. Mirio played a crane game that was filled with many stuff animals. He saw a green bunny stuff animal and decided to get it. After a few tries, he finally won it and gave it to Izuku. To Mirio, the smile on the smaller teen when he gave it to him was worth it. Izuku hugged the stuffed animal and then hugged the older teen who happily received it.

Their next stop was to a Ramen shop. Mirio told him that they have the best one he has tried. The shop was filled with the delicious aroma of their food. Mirio leads both of them to a table and when a waiter asked for what they wanted, the older teen ordered for both of them. Izuku trust Mirio and somehow knew what he liked. While they wait for their food to arrive, Mirio asked how he likes UA so far.

"It's different from my previous school and somehow it great. My classmates are interesting and fun to be with. The teachers are also good and I'm learning more things than I did before." Izuku answered.

"What about your lessons with Recovery Girl?"

Before Izuku could answer, their food arrived. Mirio was having a Hakkata Tonkotsu style ramen while Izuku got the Tantanmen style ramen. Both of them slowing began eating while still engaging in conversation.

"I like working with Recovery Girl though the number of students visiting the infirmary was a bit worrisome plus,  I get to see and help a Pro hero like her at work." 

After they ate and Mirio insist on paying for both of them again, they went to their next stop which was a movie theater. Mirio told Izuku that they were gonna watch the new All Might movie that just got released. The older teen paid for their ticket and Izuku bought their food and drinks after a lot of insisting.

When they got to their seat, Mirio already sees Izuku's excitement from bouncing on his seat. All throughout the movie, the older teen would occasionally glance at the smaller teen and smile when he sees that he was having a good time. By the time the movie ended, they notice that it was already late and they have a curfew to get to. The two then made their way back to school. 

"It was really great hanging out with you Mirio. I had a great time today and thank you again for the stuffed rabbit" said Izuku.

"I also had a great time today Izuku. We should do this again soon."

The two parted ways halfway to Izuku's dorm building. Izuku looked at the green stuffed rabbit on his hands and gave it a small hug before entering the door to their dorm building. 

The sound of the door opening caught the attention of a few students that were still hanging around the common area. They soon saw a smiling Izuku embracing a green stuffed rabbit. The first one that took action was Mina Ashido. 

"Did you have fun on your date Midoriya?" she teased.

  Caught off guard by her question, Izuku blushed and hid his face behind the stuffed rabbit which was a mistake. Uraraka grab Izuku's wrist and lead him to an available seat. He was soon then surrounded by the girls expecting eyes. He once again hid his face behind the stuffed toy. 

"Spill Midoriya! We wanna know all the details of your little date!" Ashido explained while the rest of the girls were nodding their heads. 

"I wasn't on a date! I was just spending some time with a close friend of mine! It really wasn't a date!" he defended.

The girls weren't convinced by what he said. The evidence in the form of a green stuffed rabbit was in front of them and they knew it meant something. 

"Explain the stuffed rabbit then," said Hagakure. 

Izuku was confused by that statement. He doesn't know what the stuffed rabbit has anything to do with their accusation.  He was sure he wasn't on a date. Well, Izuku has never been to a date so perhaps he really didn't know if he was really on a date. 

"I don't know what you mean by that" he answered honestly.

"Where did the stuffed bunny came from?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"My friend won it at an arcade game and gave it to me" he answered.

"Is this friend of yours a guy? Kero" Asui asked. 

"M-maybe" he shyly answered.

The girls then started giggling and asked about what they did. Izuku answered but he didn't tell them everything that happened or who he was with. They still insisted that it was a date but he was having a hard time believing. When the girls were finish question him, he went to his dorm room and change to his sleeping attire. He did his nightly routine and soon lay down on his bed. He soon got a text from Mirio wishing him goodnight and pleasant dreams. Izuku smiled and embraced the stuffed rabbit then fall asleep.
