Vennela was being pampered by husband who was towel drying her hair as she sat there in front of her dressing table.

"Bava vadilei.. I can manage.."

"What manage Vennela? Yesterday you said the same and then what did I see?"

Vennela closed her one eye and bit her tongue. Yesterday when her amma called down, she just let her hair down and ran down into the kitchen. Very angry Jai pulled her back to the room and made sure she dried her hair because later he did not want her sneezing her lungs out and calling him BAVAAAAA in that Nasal voice of hers. He loved her sexy tone much better.

"BAVA!"

Jai shook his head. This was another one. He saw Arjun entering with a pack of Masala fried Cashews.

"Thindi Ramudu"

Vennela said earning a glare from Arjun who was munching the cashews. Jai shook his head.

"Enti Arjun?"

Jai asked.

"Are you ready?"

"Yeah yeah. We are."

Saying Jai finished drying Vennela's hair and put the towel in the basket of clothes to be washed.

"Bava, have you ever thought of opening a massage parlor?"

"Why?"

"Look at your wife down."

Jai looked down and saw that Vennela was leaning on his knees and sleeping happily. Jai chuckled.

"Don't know what happened to her. Past few days she is sleeping at odd hours."

"She is not letting me check her too."

"Orei! You are Nurologist ra."

"But I still know the basics Bava."

"Leave. I am just waiting for the results from Dr. Seetha."

Arjun was in deep thoughts. Jai shook him out.

"Enti ra? Aa aalochana?"

"I think.. Lets wait for the results. Don't want to jump into conclusions."

"Orei! What is it?"

"It could be that she is pregnant Bava."

Jai widened his eyes. Is it possible? No way. They were careful always. And she got her..

"Bava! Just worry much. Wake her up. We have to leave to Hyderabad now. Then only we can board the plane."

Jai nodded his head. He was right. It was a very big conference including businessmen, doctors etc. It was held in Chennai and their event management firm was given responsibility of hosting it. Jai being Architect and Arjun being a Doctor who wanted to practice in India further took the opportunity to get some exposure.

Jai woke Vennela up.

"Vennela."

Vennela stirred and turned in her sitting position.

"Le ma. We have to get started. Then only we can reach airport."

"Hmm"

She said opening her eyes slowly and tried smiling. But then frowned.

"Vennela? Emayindi?"

Before he could say anything or before she could say anything, she ran to the balcony where there was a washbasin. Jai rushed behind her and held her head as she emptied her stomach's content. Her morning tea and vadiyalu.

He washed her face and wiped it with the towel nearby and let her head land on his shoulder helping her relax.

"Vennela.. Come sit."

He made her sit on the settee there and he sat down on the floor beside her and tried massage her foot which she actually let happily keeping her foot on his thigh.

"Emayindi Vennela? Aren't you feeling well?"

Jai asked as he started massaging her feet and calf as she relaxed.

"Teliyaledu Bava. Suddenly felt queasy."

"But.. Now travel..?"

"Its okay Bava. I will feel okay in sometime. Just give me some time."

Jai just stood up and started massaging her shoulders that made her sigh.

"Vennala.."

"I am fine bava!"

"I think you should rest. Its been only 2 days since you.."

"My monthly is not a problem here Bava.. Just relax. This is a very big event and I am not going to miss it. So just come on. Get ready."

Jai was unconvinced but he had to das Vennela said as she very soon got ready tying her hair and adjusting her saree. As they came out they saw Arjun standing there on the mezzanine leaning on the pillar and looking down with a smile.

Jai and Vennela looked down and saw that Poorna and Nagireddy were down there with Manasa. Manasa was being pampered by the women folk while Deva and Adi were speaking to Poorna and Nagireddy.

"Hope you don't mind this Nagireddy garu."

Deva was telling.

"Ala yem kaadappa. We trust our children. And this is nice opportunity for them to learn something. All these years me and my brothers wasted everything in the feud. Its nice to see someone from this family reach heights."

"This is so good Nagireddy garu. Once they return we can have their engagement."

"If that is their wish Deva garu."

Jai smiled.

"Manasa. What do you like to eat? You tell me and we will make it for you."

Lalli was telling.

"Abe.. No need"

Manasa shied away.

"Come on this is not the first time for you with us. Now you are going to be our family."

"Then I should only do the works right?"

"No. Like Vennela you can do work also."

"That.."

"Arey ammayi. If you dont tell, then you have to put up with anything prepared here"

Manasa looked up at Arjun who chuckled.

"Hope they don't scare her away!"

Vennela said.

"I think Manasa will manage well."

"Yeah"

Arjun and Jai said.

"You both planning to spend your day here enjoying this or having the plan to move too? We have to reach Hyderabad remember?"

Jai and Arjun shaking their heads went down with Vennela on tow. Soon taking blessings of the family, everyone moved to Arjun's car that was kept ready for the travel. It was pre planned that Arjun was the drive for half the distance and then Jai would take over. Before Jai can get into the car, Lakshmi pulled him to the side.

"Jai, Vennela looks much pale."

"She just threw up everything she ate Athaiyya."

"Then jai.."

"She is not listening. She wants to attend this event. So I will take care."

"May be you should try soap."

"Soap?"

"Yeah. There is this one soap, that Vennela hates. But its smell will keep her stomach settled. On the way get it. Or a lime will also be good."

Shaking his head Jai turned around and saw Lakshmi pulling Vennela to the side. Frowning he stood there.

"Vennela, nizam cheppu. How many days since you spoke to him?"

"Shh amma! Don't ask such questions in front of him. And don't worry your head too much. Seetha Pinni would have said if there is anything."

"Test reports are not yet here Vennela."

"It will be by the time we return."

"You wont listen to me. But just be careful okay."

"Okay!"

Saying Vennela pulled her mother's cheeks making her wince and hit her head as she ran into Jai who held her.

"Careful!"

"With you always standing on my way, you expect me to do that?"

Jai just shook his head and took her to the car. But Jai's hand that was on her abdomen made her feel something that she never felt before. She frowned moving out his hold. He also frowned at her behavior. And the car left Rentachintala towards Hyderabad from where they would fly to Chennai. Unknown to them, the report they were talking about had already reached a person who had it very safely.
