Jai was roaming around the house in the middle of the night switching his mobile torch on. His heart rate was so fast that if any doctor looked at him now, they will put him in ventilation. He could not shout as it was middle of the night and everyone were sleeping. Mainly its only been 3 weeks since Arjun Manasa got married and only 2 days since they returned from their honeymoon to Venice, the place where they met.

He heard some noise and he followed it and found the person he was searching for.

"Vennela!"

He called her startling her.

"Huh! Bava! You.."

She calmed herself and took the spoon to her mouth when Jai held her hand. She frowned at him.

"What do you think you are doing Vennela?"

Vennela jerked away his hand and took a spoonful.

"Baba.. Pehuhu thituhahuhh.."

Jai looked confused.

"Huh?"

She gulped it down and looked at him.

"Perugu thintunnanu. You want some?"

She asked forwarding the clay pot full of yogurt. Jai shook his head.

"Seriously?"

"What?"

"Vennela! Its 2 in the morning."

"So?"

"You want to eat this now?"

"I felt like eating."

"Why didn't you wake me up?"

He asked taking a spoon and feeding her the creamy yogurt his Athaiyya kept aside specially for vennela.

"You were sleeping. And I just wanted to have this. I felt like I might bite you if I don't eat this."

Jai chuckled and kept his other hand over her slightly round belly.

"Your mother is aggressive enough princess. You are making her even more?"

Vennela swatted his hand and kept her hand over.

"Don't talk to him bangaaram."

"What did I do now?"

Jai asked taken aback at the sudden change in her mood.

"Nana did not listen to amma kada? So we are not talking to him"

Jai widened his eyes.

"Vennela! What are you telling the baby?"

"What you did"

Jai shook his head.

"I am not going to speak to you all the night!"

"ALL NIGHT?"

Vennela spurted out the yogurt while Jai turned around in startle to see Arjun and Manasa standing there.

"Rei bava.. She is almost 4 months along.. And you are pulling an all nighter?"

Arjun asked stifling his laughter and earned a jab from Manasa and Vennela. Jai hit his forehead.

"Tell your sister that! Its not me.. Its her"

Jai put Vennela on the spot. Vennela pinched his hip making him yelp in pain.

"Siggu ledu asalu"

"I am going to become a father in few months. If I shy away now.. Then how will I get another.."

"Ahhh! Jai.. You have audience"

Manasa said chuckling.

"You are married too. And have returned after honeymoon. And I dont think you are out of that feel yet."

Jai said shrugging. That is when Arjun noticed a hickey on Manasa's neck side. Manasa bit her tongue the same time noticing a bite mark on Arjun's arm which was showing from his sleeveless night suit.

Arjun gave a sheepish smile.

"Adi.. Bava.. We are not experienced like you both kada? So we did not know that we are supposed to.. Ahem.. in a way that they will hide behind our clothes."

Vennela threw the spoon aiming at Jai for Arjun's comment.

"Oye!"

He called missing the spoon which hit Arjun making him yelp in pain.

"Vennela.. He made the comment.. And why I am being aimed?"

"Rei Bava! I already got bit and hit! Inka chaalu."

"Artha raathri.. What are you both doing awake?"

Jai asked raising his brow. Vennela also shook her head asking the same question but without opening her mouth that was full of yogurt.

"We are allowed to be awake Jai.. You both should be resting!"

Manasa said in admonishing tone.

"Idigo.. Undi choodu.. Naa muddhula pellam. My wife. Ask her!"

Arjun and Manasa raised their brow at Vennela. Vennela gulped the yogurt down and stood like kid caught with hand in cookie jar.

"Athi.."

"Enti?"

Arjun asked with hands on his hips.

"Perugu..."

"Jai would have brought it to room. You had to come out in dark?"

"I am not talking to him."

"Are you sure Vennela?"

Manasa asked biting her lips mirth lighting her eyes. Being grown in Village, Manasa was well aware of the term speaking and its innuendo.

"Yei chi.. Not that. I was talking.. REAL TALKING.. To him.. And this Kumbakarna Bava was snoring away."

Arjun and Manasa laughed at sheepish couple.

"Jai.. that is wrong. You should listen to your wife."

"Manasa! Stop. Vennela, if she starts, there is no end. If Bava has to listen to her talking, he will never sleep in this jenma."

"Yehe aapandi. Go and sleep. Vennela! Chaalu perugu. Come and sleep."

Vennela shrugged out of his hold.

"Nenu chepedi vintav antene.. I will come only if you will listen to me Bava"

She said like a child.

"Padha!"

Jai pulled her out not minding the giggles and chuckles of Arjun and Manasa. Jai pushed Vennela into the room pulling her saree pallu out making her squeal.

"Orei!"

"Shhh!!! You wanted to speak right?"

He said throwing his kurta away.

"I did not mean this!"

She said moving away and running around the bed squealing as he followed her.

"But I mean it"

Saying he caught her and shut her squealing in the best way.

Much time later, almost close to sun rise..

Jai smiled sleepily as he felt Vennnela's lips on his heart. He turned and gave a long peck on her forehead which she savored with a smile adoring her face.

"I am so happy!"

Jai said in his sleepy voice and smiled again as he got his reply in form of a peck at the base of his neck.

"I know you are happy! Mainly after the speaking.."

He said and waited for the reaction and he was awarded without delay.

"Chee.. Siggu leni magada!"

Saying Vennela gave one smack on his head. Laughing he gathered her in his arms.

"Why should I be ashamed with my wife"

He said hiding his face in her neck crook. She chuckled and pulled him more into her.
