Jai rushed in as soon as Arjun parked the bike without even waiting for him to do it properly.

"Bava.. Aagu..."

But no avail as Jai rushed straight in and then into their room where he saw Vennela resting peacefully on the bed while Lakshmi and Ganganamma came out from the washroom wiping their hands. He saw that Vennela's saree was changed to more lighter one.

Jai went and sat beside Vennela and was about to touch her when Ganganamma stopped.

"Vaddu sir. Let her sleep."

"What is wrong with her?"

"Nothing Sir. It was just heat. We have applied castor oil. It will cool down."

"Heat?"

"Yes.. One of the side effects of being pregnant. Vennela eats all sorts of food and some will give her heat. She wears chiffon and synthetic sarees and she keeps wandering about. All this will raise the heat of the body. So sometimes such things might happen. We must be ready for anything. Castor oil is very good for heat and we have given her kashayam too. So don't worry Jai."

"Athi kaadu pinni.."

"Jai.. Ladies are better in this department. Leave it to them. Ganganamma is a nurse ani cheppindi kada? If she is also saying the same, what else will Seetha say?"

At that time, Vennela opened her eyes and looked at Jai. Seeing this, everyone went out leaving them alone.

"Bava.."

And he was immediately next to her.

"What Vennela?"

"Stop taking the whole house on your head everytime I say a Ahh."

She said and chuckled. He too joined her.

"How can I not. Its all new to me."

"Me too Bava."

"I know. How are you feeling?"

"Much better. Manasa wiped my sweat and amma asked me to change after the little massage session from Ganganamma."

"Good for you."

Both were silent for sometime and then Jai frowned.

"How did you know about Naagulu and Ganganamma?"

Vennela giggled.

"Adventure."

"Hain?"

"One day, I saw Naagulu bava going out through the back door without anyone noticing and I had Chinna follow him. Then today I saw that Ganganamma was giving him tough time and Bava getting nicely as he was afraid of Mavaiyya and chinna Mavaiyya. So I got hold of her and brought her home as I know that Naagulu bava will not open his mouth until we make him do so."

"Its good to see him settled too."

"Yeah.. Nana brought him with him to this house after Nana's sister's family, Naagulu bava's family including his little brother and sisters died in a chaos. He always thought himself as a burden on this family. Once, playfully someone said that being his cousin, he could marry me. And he hung on to it. But he is the one who always stood by me and in all the notorious activities and also got nicely from everyone for me. More than him being grateful to this house, we are grateful to him. So it is good to see him move on. And Ganganamma is also from a family that is ruled with iron fist by her panni, her father's second wife who doesnt have time for Ganga but want all the money she could earn."

"Don't worry. I will make arrangements."

Vennela smiled and leaned on him. Jai too smiled placing his chin on her head. After sometime he chuckled making her frown.

"I never knew you had so many hidden talents eh?"

"You have a lot to know about me."

"Ahan?"

Saying he pulled her nose making her squeal and giggle and hit him and at the same time, she felt a kick and made him feel too.

"Nana's vakeelu. Can't let me hit you."

"Or Amma's garala patti that cannot let me trouble you?"

"Once she is out, we will know."

"He?"

"Nope.. It will be a girl."

"Okay Mahathalli. If that is what you wish. I don't care if its boy or girl unless its healthy."

"Good."

Saying she gave a yawn and slept peacefully on his shoulders. He thought for sometime and then putting her head on the pillow, he went out.

"Manasa.. tomorrow we are going shopping"

"Rei bava.. remember Vennela will eat your brain."

Arjun came there eating fried cashews.

"Shut up ra thindi Rama. Athaiyya said na.. she is wearing sarees that are heating up her already heated up body. So I thought of getting her some nighties. But I.. well.. confusion."

Jai said earning a smile from both.

"You already bought some na?"

Arjun asked.

"I got only 4 and they are packed in her emergency kit."

"Veedi pichi thagaleya."

Arjun hit his forehead.

"Evandi.. is he always like this?"

Ganganamma asked Naagulu.

"Yes.. mainly when it comes to Vennu, he is mad at best."

Naagulu said and bit his tongue seeing Arjun glaring. But then all chuckled as they knew that it was true.

"Let me see how sober you are in sometime. Ganganamma. If you tell me more about your family, it will help us to talk to them."

"Sir.."

"Hmm?"

"Varasalu after my family agrees. For now let it be. Now Vennela is more important. Get her dresses that gives room for air and makes her feel cool and calm. Cotton should do. Not just nighties. Even sarees. Because in my opinion, even after delivery, Saree is a costume that will help her a lot."

"As you say madam. Manasa.."

"Yeah yeah. I will be ready tomorrow."

"Before my baby comes to this world, looks like I will enter the world of madness trying to understand all this."

"I thought you were already mad enough after marrying that bombshell Vennu."

Naagulu said making everyone laugh. Jai was happy that nothing happened to Vennela.
