Angelica, And Peggy

I heard a scream escape my lips. It was my fault. I should have died. My mom just rolled her eyes and smoked a cigar, earning a hateful glance from the doctor. My dad wasn't even here. angelica was hugging her self and sobbing. She actually cared. I turned and ran. I felt arms wrap around me. I turned and sobbed into them. Angelica squeezed me tightly.

"We have to stick together now Peggy." she whispered. I nodded. "Lets go home Peggy. Our parents obviously don't care."

We got in our parent's care and Angelica drove off. I stared at the black of the night outside my window. when we got home. Angelica walked into my room. She froze.

Her eyes darted from the note laying out on my desk to the gun dropped on the floor to the bloody spot on my carpet. She held back tears and walked to the note. I hung my head in shame as she read it. She looked up at me, tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry I was never there. I'm sorry. Do you want to take a walk so we can-so we-we can-" she broke down sobbing. I lead her out to the door, not caring it was midnight, not noticing she pocketed my letter.
