.: CHAPTER FIVE :.

The cold snow fell from the heavy dark clouds and painted the whole scenery a clear and mature white. The chilly a7r filled my lungs.

Tears as cold as the snow rolled down my cheeks. I cried, but without making any sound. I was freezing on my whole body. I sat in the corner of an old cottage.

The guy who brought me here came in again, his icy blue eyes stared directly into mine. It was the Yakuza.

I wanted to gather some information about him before Akise investigated him. I just wanted to help him... I wanted to protect him from any harm... And now I'm in danger.

But I knew he'd come, he simply had to. I smiled at the man, knowing I'd be safe as soon Akise would come.

But will he come?

I don't know it, but I feel like he will.

The man clenched his fists and punched me in my face. "Still smiling, little girl?" He laughed. I just kept quiet and looked on the  wooden floor.

"Come on! Cry out loud and wince!" He slammed his fist right into my stomach, what caused me to cough up blood.

My (e/c) orbs met the one's of the Yakuza. I tilted my head to the side. "There's no need to cry if you know you're safe." I chuckled, the blood dripping off my chin.

His expression turned even angrier. "You little whore!" He shouted before pulling out a sharp knife. He tried to stab me, but I quickly moved to the side, what caused him to fall. He left a cut on my cheek.

"That's It!" He screamed. He got up and pulled me up by my collar. "Let's see if you'd still be that cocky." He threw me on the floor and pulled out a package of matches.

"This cottage is so old, the wood had already started to rot. I bet it burns easily." He smiled and stepped outside. A wave of panick overcame me as I smelled the sour scent of gasoline.

He came back in and lit the curtains on fire. "Have fun, darling." He smiled at me and left the cottage.

I tried to get out of the tape the man had wrapped around my arms and legs, but I didn't have enough energy because I already inhaled to much smoke.

I was coughing a lot. I crawled into a corner and began to cry yet again. While the tears ran down my face, my lips formed a smile.

"I did it for you, Akise." I said to myself. "Even if you'll never find me here... Even if we never see each other again... I'm happy I died for you."

I coughed a last time and fainted because the smoke had soon filled my lungs.
