"Chloe?" Says the teacher.

"Ugh, present."

"Nino?"

"Present, Ma'am"

"Marinette?"

"Uhh, Miss! She's absent today. She told me she has colds and she cannot come," I replied.

"We've got a problem," replied the teacher.

"I already assigned Marinette to be partners with Nino but since she's not here, you should pair up with Nino,"

"WHAT?! I'm assigned to be Adrien's partner," I shrieked.

Milen raised her hand, "Adrien is absent too. He told me that he has photoshoot for the whole day and it cannot be canceled."

I looked hopeless.

"Well, Alya! We should pair up," Nino told me.

"Ughh, fine," I groaned.

After school, both of us went to my house.

Me and Nino worked "together"

Together?! Seriously? I did all the work.

All he did is listen to some junk, boring music while lying on my bed!

I finally had enough.

"Nino, can you please just quit listening to music and work with me!?" I shrieked.

He didn't hear what I said 'cause of his headphones.

I went towards him but I tripped on a charger wire, connected on his tablet.

I stumbled and fell on the bed right straight to his face.

He looked at me and smirked.

I glared.

He pulled me into a kiss.

Surprisingly, I kissed back.

We ended the kiss for a long time.

"Welp, I never knew having a music buddy would be so fun," I said.
