Ladybug is supposed to be here!

I can't just fight this akuma alone.

I saw Marinette on the side as a giant pole is about to hit her on her back.

I dashed to her and pulled her on my arms, just in time to save her.

"Uh, thanks Chat but you really don't have to do that," she said.

I shook my head.

"It's for your safety m' lady! Let's get you upstairs and into the safe room."

I carried her and I ran as fast as I could into the stairs.

But giant rocks blocked our way.

"We'll have to take the elevator!" I shouted.

I know we are not supposed to use elevators especially when there's an earthquake but we don't have any choice.

I ran with Marinette in my arms and just in time we got inside the elevator before another rock squish us.

I tried catching my breath.

I noticed my leg bleeding but Marinette is safe and sound.

"Oh Chat! Thank you," she said and pulled me into a hug.

I laughed nervously wishing she won't see my leg.

Sadly, she did.

"Oh no, are you okay?" She asked, her voice shaking.

I tried to chuckle, "As long as you're safe, princess."

The ground started to shake, I can't feel my leg, it's numb.

Lava filled the ground underneath.

I heard my ring beep.

4 more beeps to go and Mari will know my identity.

The ground cracked in half and Mari took my hand before I fall.

Beep!

3 beeps to go.

Beep!

2...

Beep!

1...

Beep!

I transformed back to myself and Marinette's eyes widened as she looked at me.

"Adrien? You're ChatNoir?" She asked, almost in tears.

I nodded slowly.

My hand started to slip on hers.

"I am so sorry Adrien but this is for the best," she said while tears rolled down her cheek.

She pulled me up and let herself fall down to the steaming lava.

"Marinette!" I shouted as I start to cry.

What have I done?!

I saw a beam of red light on the lava.

"Ladybug?!" I shouted.

I saw Ladybug coming up, towards me.

The elevator door opened and I pulled her up to the ground and in to safety.

"Where were you, ladybug?" I asked her.

Some parts of her suit was burned and she has black smudges on her face.

She started to cough uncontrollably.

I heard a beep of her earrings.

She transformed into her normal self, into Marinette?

"Mari! You're alive?!" I said in amazement and hugged her.

"I managed to transform into ladybug before I fall to the lava, thanks to Tikki."

She looked at me with a warm smile, pulled me into a hug.

"All this time, you were ladybug?"

She nodded in reply.

"I love you, m'lady"

And now I'm crying?!

Omaygawd.
