"So, I can give other people powers?" Melodie asked as she sat in her room with Nooroo hovering next to her the following night.

"Yep! All you have to do is put the brooch on, and say 'Wings Out'!" Nooroo explained.

"Okay. Let's see what I can do." Melodie exhaled as she stood up and put the brooch onto her shirt, "alright. Nooroo, wings out!"

Nooroo was then absorbed into the brooch, and the brooch turned green. She had a pink and white mask, her outfit transformed into a pink skintight leather outfit, her hair went up into a ponytail, and she got beautiful wings, and Melodie took on the alias Butterfly.

"Wow, this is so cool!" Butterfly beamed as she looked down at herself, "I can't wait to show this to Adrien!"

She climbed out onto the roof of her house and looked out across at Orléans, France, and she sighed. Suddenly, she heard a crash below and saw a man had robbed a bakery.

"Let's test this baby out." Melodie inhaled, jumped off her roof, landed in front of him, and took a fighting position, "hey, you better return all that money where it came from."

"Haha! Who do you think you are?! Halloween was eight months ago, little girl!" The robber cackled, but Butterfly just peered at him.

"Alright then." Butterfly responded as she held her hand out. A white butterfly landed in the palm of her hand, she covered it with her other hand, she gave it a power, and the butterfly turned pink. It flew out and she gave herself the power, "If you won't give them back, then I'll just take it from you."

The robber just laughed harder and threw a punch at her head. But Butterfly dodged it, then held her hand out at him. The robber started being lifted off the ground.

"Wh-what the heck is happening?!" The robber shrieked.

With the other hand, Butterfly took the bag of money, all with her new psychic powers.

"Thanks. Will be needing that." Butterfly smirked as she dropped the money next to her, then took a nearby rope and tied the robber to a light post.

"Who do you think you are?!" the robber demanded as people around gathered to watch.

"I'm Butterfly." Butterfly answered, then she jumped up really high to the top of the nearby buildings and vanished, leaving the bag of money with the baker that was robbed from. Once she got back to her house, she transformed back into Melodie as her Miraculous was drained out.

"I hear you eat sunflower seeds?" Melodie smiled as she held out a little dish of sunflower seeds.

"Oh, thank you!" Nooroo thanked and took a couple.

"That was really fun, actually! For a first run!" Melodie smiled as she turned her back on Nooroo and headed to her dresser. Then she pulled out one of the wads of money from the bag of money that the robber had, "I think this superhero life might just work..."

Ladybug and Cat Noir sat on top of a building close to where the Eiffel Tower fight took place the night after Melodie had left.

"When I stepped on the Akuma, it got absorbed into me, and I had these cool powers. Well, I haven't tried it out yet, because Hawk Moth had transformed back into my Father after we had taken his Miraculous, but it was cool." Cat Noir retold the story of their epic final fight with Hawk Moth, "I was known as Cat Blanc for about five minutes. The Akuma had a different effect on me, since I wasn't feeling any negative emotions. After all that ruckus was settled, I carried you to the hospital."

"...Wow..." Ladybug smiled and nodded as they looked down at the same exact spot the fight happened. Everything looked normal, and things really were.

"You okay?" Cat Noir asked, looking at Ladybug's face.

"Y-yeah.... Y-yeah, yeah, everything's fine... It's just that... I've had a lot on my mind lately, after... Everything." Ladybug stuttered.

"Yeah... I totally get you... After Melodie left, man... I was so happy to see her again, but then she was gone again..." Cat Noir sighed.

"I'm sorry..."

"Wait, what?"

"I'm sorry." Ladybug repeated.

"For what?"

"For... being Marinette. Are you disappointed I wasn't... Anyone else but her?"

"What?! No, o-of course not..." Cat Noir stuttered.

"I can't be anything like you, Adrien... You're handsome, smart, talented, and popular. I'm just a klutz who can't seem to do anything right... Sorry I'm probably not the Ladybug you were expecting..."

The two sat silently for a few seconds, and Ladybug felt like she was going to cry. But then she suddenly heard Cat Noir transform back into Adrien. Then she saw him out of the corner of her eye look right at her.

"What are you doing?" Ladybug asked, but Adrien just peered at her face. Then he raised his hand up to the side of her face, then took out one of her earrings, and she transformed back into Marinette, "hey!"

"Well, from what I see," Adrien began, "you and Ladybug have a lot in common."

"Like what? Name five things." Marinette crossed her arms as Adrien continued to scan her face carefully.

"Well, okay. You're both kind, helpful, brave, talented, and cute." Adrien smiled, "plus, not to mention strong, funny, adorable, smart, beautiful, curious, shall I continue?"

"Well, I'm nothing compared to you. Everyone adores you..." Marinette said as she turned to look at the Eiffel Tower and sighed.

"Yeah!" Marinette almost jumped out of her skin when Tikki spoke up, "she has your face plastered everywhere on her wall! Her computer too!"

"Eh-heh-heh... shut up, Tikki..." Marinette grinned nervously.

"Really?" Adrien chuckled, "heh, just between you and me, I have a few Ladybug dolls on my shelf."

"Really?!" Marinette gasped, then started giggling, "wow, well, okay. That makes us about even, huh?"

"Sure." Adrien said as he looked at Marinette, "Are you disappointed it was  me?"

"What?! Of course not. I mean, can you imagine how excited, worried, and shocked I was to realize that the Cat Noir that always flirted with me was also my biggest crush I've had for a year... Oh gosh, I'm rambling aren't I? Kill me now, heh-heh..." Marinette chuckled, but Adrien just stared at her, "I'm sorry..."

"I'm glad."

"Wh-what?!"

"I'm glad it was you." Adrien smiled as he pulled her closer to him. Marinette stared at him as she started blushing. He moved his hand up to her face and tucked a strand of her black hair behind her ear, then he held her face, "I love you, Ladybug. I love you Marinette..." Adrien whispered, "I love you so much..."

"I love you too..." Marinette whispered as they started leaning in, and they finally shared their first kiss.

"Aww..." Tikki whispered.

"I wish I had my camera..." Plagg snickered.

"I should've done this a long time ago..." Adrien smirked as they parted a little.

"...No kidding." Marinette chuckled, and they kissed once more.

"Ahem... It's already past midnight, you two..." Tikki cleared her throat.

"R-right... Better get going if I'm going back to school tomorrow." Marinette smiled when they finally pulled away, "I'll see you tomorrow then." Marinette stood up and transformed back into Ladybug so she could get back home.

"Wait, Marinette!" Adrien stopped her before she could go, "so... Are we... A thing?"

"Sure." Ladybug smiled, "I would love to be." She winked at him, then she threw her yoyo and swung off into the night.

"Wow..." Adrien sighed as he continued to stand on the building, "am I dreaming? Pinch me now, Plagg..."

"Really?"

"No." Adrien glared at Plagg, "let's just get home before Mom finds out we got out of the house." Adrien turned back into Cat Noir and headed back home.
