I believe Chole became who she was because both of her parents failed her. Chole has always wanted to please her mother and I believe that she is trying her hardest to do so. By acting like her and practically doing everything sje can to get her to notice her. She even got her mother a gift which her mother quickly disgarded. Her mother has been neglecting her from birth and I think this has servely damaged Chole. Her father does nothing to help Chole since he never tells her that what she doing is wrong and always backs her up even if she's wrong. Making her believe that her actions are justified since her mother acts the same.

I know that doesn't make what Chole is doing is right, but I believe that if Chole got enough  help then she would be able to change.

Again this is just my opinion and I'm a sucker for second chances.
