ADRIEN'S POV

The rain poured down, showering me in it's cold clutches. I shivered and looked around for a place to dry off. I didn't want to go back home. Hah. that place wasn't even worthy of being called a home. It was always so empty, cold and dark. I glanced around, using my night vision to see something, anything, through this heavy downfall. Finally, my eyes found what they were looking for. A small bakery, belonging to the shy, sweet and clumsy Marinette. I grinned. I quickly lept the short distance to the rooftop, and hid just next to her window, peering in, but doing it suttlely, so that she couldn't see me. I could hear her talking to someone, but I couldn't see anyone else in the room. I strained my eyes, looking around all over her room for another person. But i didn't see one. Instead, my gaze was greeted by something else. My eyes grew wide. Really wide. My mouth hung open as my jaw dropped to the floor. I could see a small creature, about the same size as Plagg, but it was red and covered in black spots. It resembled a Ladybug..... "TIKKI!!" Plagg squealed in my head. "You know her??" I mentally hissed back. "Of course! We've known each other for centuries..... She's the ladybug kwami." He stated bluntly. Ladybug kwami? Then that means..... I immediately slapped my hands to my mouth and slid down the wall. MARINETTE IS LADYBUG!!!! ALL THIS TIME THE LOVE OF MY LIFE WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME??? "Well, technically she was behind you...." Plagg said in a bored tone and i mentally glared at him. Then a large grin made its way to my face. I had finally found her. My Lady. "Are you just gonna sit here in the freezing rain smiling your head off! I'm cold too ya'know!" I quickly stood up and gently tapped on her window. In a flash, I saw Tikki hide behind her computer, and it was if she was never there. Marinette looked at me and I saw her eyes widen. She quickly opened the latch and I tumbled into her room. I quickly stood up, and lightly kissed her hand. She pulled back a small blush creeping on her cheeks. "Hello, purrr-inces" I said with a smile. She only stared at me. then she lightly reached out to move a chunk of my hair that was plastered to my forehead. "Chat!!! You're freezing!!" she stated before darting off to get a towel. She came back and quickly wrapped it around me. she then pushed me to her vanity and sat me down. She flicked a switch and the soft noise of the blowdryer filled my ears. She began to dry my hair. After about 5 minutes, she was satisfied with her efforts and turned off the dryer. She looked outside to the crying sky, then turned back to me. "Why are you here Chat? Don't you have a home?" I frowned slightly and looked at the floor. "I'd hardly call it a home...." I stated softly. I could feel tears pricking at my eyes. Her own eyes widened and she rushed over to me, pulling me out of the chair and embracing me into her loving arms. I quickly wrapped my arms around her waist and buried my head into the crook of her neck, inhaling her sweet scent. She smelt like strawberries and love. I decided that strawberries were my new favourite fruit. We stood there. Embraced in each others arms, the storm outside completely forgotten.
