Damien Valentino is one of the main characters of Miraculous Tales. He is a teenage boy who moved from Italy and a student in Miss Mendeleiev's class at Lycée Françoise Dupont. He is currently in a relationship with Marie Barnes.

With the Raven Miraculous, when inhabited by Nixx, Marie transforms into the vigilante Corvu Morte, who gains the power of death & knowledge in order to stop Le Papillion and his evil organization Pergue.

Damien is an Italian teenage boy who is very lean and taller than the average student, around Kim's height. He has dark brown skin, dark brown eyes, and black hair that is often styled in locs. He also has two helix piercings on both ears and industrial/scaffold piercing on his left ear. Throughout his body, there are several scars that came from his extreme training.

As Crovo Morto, his black hair is tied in a high ponytail and his dark brown eyes become a deep shade of red. Parts of his body like his arms and ears are turned back.

Damien first appears to be an snarky and confident boy who hardly holds any regard for the people around him. But this, of course, is only the surface on what kind of person Damien is and is actually much more complex than he appears to be.

He is actually a rather level-headed boy who is a realist at heart, realizing how the world truly works since he was young. He does have the tendency be rather apathetic around the people he doesn't know or simply doesn't like. Not only that, but Damien is someone who is one afraid to express his opinions, something that Adrien knows very well about him.

Damien does have a somewhat playful and mischievous side, as shown whenever he interacted with Adrien since they were children or whenever he messes with the kwamis, mainly Plagg. That being said, this side of him often only appears towards those Damien are close to.

His life being under his father's thumb and living in the world of organized crime at such a young age had left Damien with an ambiguous sense of right and wrong. He is very defiant and not afraid to stand up to any sort of authority, whether that be his father or the police.

As Corvu Morte, his personality is an overall combination of both sides of himself, allowing himself to show off his more strategic and calculating nature. That being said, being Corvu Morte often times allow him to let out built-up emotional rage that he's been having for the past couple of years thanks to his father. His defiance and strong dislike for the police is very apparent when he's Corvu Morte.

꒰🖤꒱ SYNOPSIS ♡꙼̈ ࿐ ࿔

Damien was born the second child of Matteo and Ginvera Valentino, the heads of an organized crime network that his family has always run and managed. Now, he never had to worry much about running his family's empire once he was of age, but Matteo still decided to put him through extreme training that he himself was in charge of.

This often lead to Damien having several injuries and scars since he was a child that came from the training. And it was due to this training that Damien's relationship with his father began to sour. There have been constant arguments between father and son about everything and it would almost always end in their relationship being worse.

It wasn't until he met Marie and Prudence after they were adopted by their father Tyler was when he made his first friends, which only got better once he met Adrien and the Bourgeois sisters thanks to their parents

꒰🖤꒱ ABILITIES ♡꙼̈ ࿐ ࿔

♡ AS A CIVILIAN ♡

Due to his family's homeschooling, Damien can speak fluent Spanish, Mandarin, and Arabic. He is also very skilled in playing both the guitar and the drums, often having a jam session with Luka. Damien even took an interest in video games when he was younger, being one of the top gamers in his class. 

He knows how to ride a motorcycle, often riding his own to places like school or friends' places without problem. There have been times where Damien has had to use his motorcycle skills to help him out reach places where Pergue was attacking or as part of a plan that either he or the team thought. Damien knows how to cook, nowhere near the level of Marie, but can cook basic recipes and anything that his mother would cook for him and Beatrice.

Damien is a skilled martial arts fighter, being trained by his family's martial arts instructor since he was young. He was able to take down people who were as tall as Ivan and Kim without problem. He currently has an adult brown belt in martial arts. He has great stamina and endurance and is able to keep up with those like Kim or even anyone who roller skates like Alix and Marie. 

♡ AS CORVU MORTE ♡

Corvu Morte has enhanced physical skills such as superhuman speed, agility, and near-invulnerability. His increased strength allows him to be strong enough to carry at most two people while running or flying. 

Like a raven, Corvu Morte has has enhanced sight, hearing, memory, and night vision. He can fly thanks to the wings on his back, which allows him to evade and find opponents. Also like a raven, Corvu Morte is able to mimic the voices of others. 

Using his grimoire, he can cast spells but unlike Bambi who has all-round spells, most of Corvu's spells work on the offensive and defensive. Not just that, but the magic that Corvu specializes in is dark magic. Plus his grimoire grants him access to various weapons including his scythe, a weapon he more commonly uses in battles.

Having the power of death, Corvu Morte can use death magic, a speciality of his. Possessing the power of death also means that Corvu can see and communicate with spirits and ghosts much like Bambi. Because this is a power that is always activated, Corvu Morte would be able to still see and communicate with sprits and ghosts even as Damien.

With the power of knowledge, Corvu can also use his second ability Premonition, allowing him supernatural insight of opponents' movements for the next five seconds. This enables Crovu Morte to think much faster than his opponent could think.
