~First Month~
"Tikki would you mind checking my period calendar for when I last had it, it feels like a life time ago."
"Sure Marinette!" said Tikki as she zoomed toward the calendar hanging on the wall. Marinette worked on a new design in her design corner at her and Adrien's office in their cozy and luxurious apartment. She worked passionate about everything she made, today she was working on a new shirt for Adrien to his birthday next week.
"Tikki? How long is it since?" she asked her kwami
"Um...about 6 weeks ago." Tikki said.
Marinette was starting to panic slightly, her period had never been late before, what was wrong with her? Suddenly, she felt like she was going to be sick again, and ran for the bathroom; it was the third time that week now. Marinette thought several options in her head. She didn't think it was the flu; the nausea came in waves, and it wasn't some kind of food poisoning either.
Then what was it?
Was she......? No no, it was way to early. She didn't even discuss with Adrien about children. Why should she anyways they just tied the knot 5 months ago?
"Marinette...Marinette listen to me..."Tikki sighed sensing that her owner was overthinking everything again.
As Kwami of Creation, of course she felt something, and there is nothing more beautiful than creation of life but it was upto her owners to figure it out themselves.
"I don't know what to do Tikki? What if Adrien left me? What if he didn't want kids? What if-"
"Calm down Marinette, Adrien loves you a lot, he won't leave you. But I think you should take a test to confirm." Just because she can't open her mouth it doesn't mean that she can't provide a push.
"I-I think I will Tikki, let's go buy one."

Some time later...
●●●●●●●●●●●●
She was pregnant.
The test came out positive.
Infact all the 3 tests she took came out positive.
She was pregnant....God she was pregnant with Adrien's child.
The Adrien Agreste's child.
Oh no.
How was she going to tell Adrien? Would he be angry with her? What if he didn't want a baby? Obviously, they hadn't been planning to have a child so soon, but now that she was pregnant.
As she over thought everything again, one thing became clear to her...
She was going to keep the baby, no matter what Adrien's reaction would be.
"Marinette sto-" Tikki began but was interrupted by Adrien and Plagg's arrival.
"M'Lady! I'm home!" Adrien's voice came from the living room as Plagg zoomed out of Adrien's pocket to get a snack and join Tikki.
Seeing Marinette's expression of terror mixed with determination, Adrien came rushing up to her. "M'Lady? Is something wrong? Were you sick again?"
Marinette looked at Tikki who nodded encouragingly at her.
Plagg who now joined everyone in the living room, was munching on Camembert.
"Adrienimpregnant", said Marinette in a rush.
"What?" Adrien said looking at Marinette confused. "Relax Bug; I haven't seen you look this nervous since Highschool!" He chuckled before continuing in a worried tone "Is something wrong?" he asked again.
Taking a deep breath, Marinette looked at Adrien and said, very slowly,"I'm pregnant."
There was silence, and then...
"Oh no." Plagg moaned. "Don't tell me I'm going to have to put up with being drooled on by one of your kittens." With Tikki trying to hush him up.
As Marinette nervously looked at Adrien, she was surprised to be scooped up in his arms.
"REALLY? I'm going to be a dad?" said Adrien, looking absolutely delighted.
Marinette looked at Adrien, puzzled, "You're not mad?" "Mad?" said Adrien looking astonished. "Why would I be mad?" "I just thought... you know, the fact that we just got married and that we're so young..." Marinette said, trailing off.
Adrien's voice softened. "Of course I'm not mad! This is the greatest thing that could've happened to us!" He said, giving Marinette a light kiss on the lips.
Marinette smiled for the first time that day. Maybe it wasn't so bad that she was pregnant after all.

~Second Month~
Pregnancy did not turn out to be quite as enjoyable as Marinette would've liked. By the second month, the morning sickness had worsened, she tired easily, and cramps were even worse than the monthly ones she used to get. All of their family and friends had been delighted with the news of Marinette's pregnancy, especially her parents, ecstatic that they were going to be grandparents in less than a year.
Alya and Nino, of course were over the moon, and gave a very girl-like squeal ( a bit weird in Nino's part but he didn't care! His best bro was going to be a Father!) upon hearing the news. They didn't even try to hide the fact that they had just made an extremely girlie sound, which goes to show just how happy both of them were.
Marinette knew that she was going to love her baby very much, but as she kneeled over the toilet bowl for the third time that day, she couldn't help wonder why it was necessary for the mother to suffer so much during the pregnancy. Why was it only the mother anyway? The father doesn't even have to do anything! "Stupid Adrien" Marinette mumbled to herself, Tikki, who was hovering just above her silently giggled as Marinette continued to mumble to herself" Where is he anyway?"
Exhausted, Marinette made her way back to the living room, where, to her surprise, Adrien was waiting with a huge plate of chocolate, a worried expression on his face. "Bug? Are you ok? I know you usually like to eat chocolate when you get cramps, so I thought you might need some now. Especially with the amount that's coming back out..."
Marinette gave him a feeble smile, feeling extremely fortunate that she had such a caring husband, and all feelings of anger ebbing away. Tikki and Plagg flew off to their snack cupboard to give the couple some privacy while Marinette laid her head on Adrien's shoulder, and nibbled quietly at the chocolate, feeling slightly happier than before. It was little things like this that made Marinette fall for Adrien all over again. Sure, he could still be a little too cocky sometimes,( just him being Cat Noir) but he was usually very caring and sweet, and she knew that he would always be with her, no matter what.

~Third Month~
By the third month, Marinette was now somewhat accustomed to the morning sickness; there was nothing she could do about it, really. The doctor had told Marinette on her last check up that the morning sickness would gradually disappear, so that was something to look forward to.
Adrien sighed. He just couldn't deal with Marinette's mood swings, sure he had Tikki and Plagg (well mostly Tikki) to help but he would never know if she was going to start screaming at him or suddenly burst into tears. You'd think that all the years of being together on both sides of the mask would've taught him that patience was the key with Marinette. That was different though, Adrien thought. She wasn't so emotional back then. At least, not like she was now, laughing at something he said, then the next minute sobbing over the fact that their baby was going to be born during the summer, and then being miserable because Jack didn't save himself in the movie Titanic.
The mood swings seemed to worsen every month, as did the feelings of exhaustion. Marinette didn't think it was anything to do with the stress from work, despite the fact that he couldn't cope with her mood swings, Adrien actually put up with Marinette's food cravings quite well, though that might've been the fact that he could just buy anything he wanted by just glashing his famous name. And the food cravings were quite bizarre, Adrien had to admit. Just a few days ago, Marinette had woken Adrien up in the middle of the night, demanding some Camembert...
Needless to say... it took quite sometime (and a bribe) to convince Plagg to share his precious Camembert.
Adrien took a deep breath. Yes, he loved Marinette very much.'You know she's only acting like this because she's pregnant. In another six months, this will all be over, and you'll have the normal, un-hormonal Marinette back again.' He thought, then, with a quiet sigh, Adrien crept into bed again. Never in his life was he so looking forward for summer to come.

~Fourth Month~
Marinette found it hard to believe that she was already more than a third of the way through the pregnancy. By the fourth month, the morning sickness had gradually gone, just like the doctor had told Marinette. The doctor had also told her that her heart might start to beat more rapidly, because of the change in hormones and circulating blood volume. As the baby inside her began to grow, Marinette's stomach too, became more visible. Marinette was so excited, she was going to be a mom!
To Adrien's enormous relief, he hadn't been getting any more bizarre food craving requests from Marinette, though as a result of that midnight Camembert incident, Marinette and Plagg ( who was even more protective of his precious stinky cheese) were constantly at odds with eachother regarding the cheese.
"Adr-"said Marinette coming into the room. She was going to ask him to go find her those really cute cupcakes from the bakery near their house, but stopped herself upon seeing his sleeping form on the couch. Marinette's face softened. She knew she was being a pain, asking him to find her an assortment of foods, but sometimes, she just simply had to have the food! Plus, the mood swings probably weren't helping either, Marinette knew that when it came to her, her kitty was a very patient person, but she'd begun to suspect that he was probably close to breaking down as well.
Suddenly, a thought crossed Marinette's mind. What if Adrien didn't want to be with her anymore? What if he had finally had enough of her crazy mood swings and cravings and decided to leave her for another woman? Horrified, Marinette recalled a conversation that Adrien and Nino had the other day. By the sound of things, they were talking about a girl...
"So I saw her when I was at the market the other day, and I swear, it was love at first sight. She was just so beautiful." Said Adrien to Nino, who'd come over to their house to visit, while Alya was in New York for the weekend due her work as a Journalist. Marinette was napping in the living room, and Adrien had taken the opportunity to tell his best friend about his apparent new found love.
"Love at first sight? Are you sure Dude?" Nino asked, his brow furrowing. He personally thought his best friend was going a little crazy because of Marinette's recent behaviour.
"Yes! I'm sure of it! It was exactly the feeling I had when I first saw Marinette all those years ago, maybe even stronger!" said Adrien enthusiastically. "What do you think Nino? Should I go for it?"
Marinette gasped, feeling the tears run down her cheeks. He was really going to leave her, wasn't he?
The gasp had woken Adrien up. Startled, he opened his eyes to find Marinette with tears pouring down her face, looking at him in disappointment. Jumping up from the couch, he asked, "M'Lady? What happened? Is something wrong? Are you in pain or something?"
Marinette shook her head. "Is there something you would like to tell me, Adrien?" she asked softly, her voice shaking.
Bewildered, Adrien opened his mouth and closed it, wondering how on earth she could've found out. Running a hand through his disheveled hair, he took a deep breath and said, "Look, it was meant to be a surprise for you, but if you don't want one, I won't buy it," Adrien replied.
"A surprise? What kind of a surprise is this, finding out that my husband is leaving me for another woman!" sobbed Marinette.
"A-another woman?" asked Adrien in confusion. "What other woman?"
"Don't pretend! I heard you and Nino talking about it the other day when you thought I was asleep in here!"
"With Nino? B-but that was just me telling him about this beautiful Hamster I saw at the pet shop! I knew you liked hamsters, and you'd always wanted one, so I was asking Nino if I should buy it for you as a present! I know it hasn't been easy for you, being pregnant, and I thought maybe..." said Adrien, wondering what on earth his wife was going on about.
"See! You even said so yourself! A beautiful... wait what did you say? A hamster?" asked Marinette, not sure she had heard him correctly.
"Yes Bugaboo, a hamster. You know, the animal you always wanted? After you married me?" Adrien replied smirking and somewhat amused, recalling her dream, Alya so graciously shared with everyone in their wedding reception.
"So... you weren't going to leave me for another girl?"
"No M'Lady. I'm hurt you would even think of that. You know that you're the only one I love."
"But I've been so mean to you lately! Yesterday I threw cake in your face!"
"I know, Bug, I know, but I know it's because of the baby that you're acting like this."
Marinette relaxed. Adrien wasn't going to leave her after all! Putting her arms around his neck, she snuggled into his chest, breathing in his smell. "I love you, Kitty you know that right?"
Adrien chuckled. "Yes lovebug, I know. I love you too." He said, kissing the top of her head.
