A week went by and the two were not their normal selves at all. It was like they were possessed and felt no emotion at all. It was making the school think there was something wrong with them. Like Marinette, she wasn't her usual cheerful self, especially when Lila tried to make a lie about her, the classmates had enough of Lila talking about Marinette this and Marinette that repeatedly. Adrien was skipping photo shoots and fencing for a few days. He wasn't scared of Gabriel's threats of pulling him out of school again. No matter how hard Gabriel tried to lock him in the mansion, Adrien appears out of nowhere and this frightened Gabriel more that this was not his son at all. Provoking him was bad enough to anger the devil. The kwamis were worried that the symbiotes might affect their holders when out fighting akumas. The symbiotes were helping them out but were unaware this was affecting their mental state.

"Uh, Marinette, are you doing well?" Tikki asked her holder.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Marinette asked.

"You've acted really off since the symbiote attached to you over a week ago," Tikki said.

"I feel fine. Symbug has been helping me feel better" Marinette said.

"You act really cold towards others" Tikki pointed out.

"They were the ones to believe Lila over me," Marinette said.

"Not just them, even me," Tikki said.

"Are you serious?" Marinette asked.

"I'm just saying don't turn into something you're not," Tikki said.

"I'm not. I'm extremely pissed right now with my friends becoming gullible to trust Lila over me" Marinette said.

"That's just to teach them a lesson," Symbug said.

"And Miss Bustier can't let Chloe or Lila get away with everything while innocents like myself are suffering," Marinette said coldly.

"The school is under Chloe's thumb," Tikki said.

"It's her turn to teach her a lesson," Symbug said.

"You sure about it?" Tikki asked.

"No one speaks up against her. They are afraid to get on her bad side" Marinette said.

"I got a brilliant idea," Symbug said.

"And what would that be?" Marinette asked.

"Wait and see" Symbug smirked devilishly.

Adrien was acting very rude to his father at the mansion, not even caring how imperfect he was becoming in front of his father. Hell, he even went against his father's demands by eating junk food.

"Looks like I made you really independent," Venom said inside of Adrien.

"Way too independent to not feel guilty" Adrien munched on the grapes.

"At least I still get more cheese," Plagg said.

"And some chocolate" Venom said.

He can hear his father coming into the kitchen and he sure looked pissed but Adrien did not care. He simply let out a loud belch before glancing at his father.

"What are you gonna do? Ground me? Too easy for you but I don't care if I'm a very bad boy" Adrien chuckled.

"This behavior of yours got to stop! You have acted rude both here and at school" Gabriel said.

"Who told you that? The principal or Lila?" Adrien crossed his arms, "And you're one to talk when you act all rude towards me. Isn't that what an Agreste does? Act all indolent and show no care at all?" Adrien laughed insanely.

"I expected better from you, Adrien!" Gabriel had enough of him.

"Whatever" Adrien scoffed.

"Don't talk to me like that, Adrien!" Gabriel said.

"Nothing is good enough for you" Adrien replied.

"Adrien come back here!" Gabriel saw Adrien go to his room.

"Good, you're not showing hesitation. I told you it would get him all crazy at being mad at you. He has no respect" Venom said.

"Yeah, he doesn't" Adrien replied.

"He's gonna be very pissed when he has a heart attack," Plagg said.

"If he does get one," Adrien said.

"He's coming upstairs" Venom warned.

"Time to act natural" Plagg hides.

"3, 2, 1" Adrien counted down.

"Adrien!" Gabriel came in.

"What now?" Adrien asked.

"You don't turn your back on me! What has gotten into you?!" Gabriel demanded an answer.

"Hmmm....let's see. Oh yes, forcing me to model with a pathological lying bitch is what made me not wanna be nice to you" Adrien cackled insanely.

"A week ago, Lila claims that you threatened her" Gabriel replied.

"I threatened her? No, I just talked some sense into her seriously. And second of all, what she's doing is sexual harassment when she touches all over me in modeling and yet it's okay for her to get in my personal space?! Honestly, father. What if she goes too far to take my virginity?" Adrien said before he felt too demonic.

"That's not going to happen!" Gabriel couldn't bear the thought of Adrien being raped.

"Then stop forcing me to model with her. It's not that fucking hard to see or listen to my opinion" Adrien said.

"Language Adrien! As you wish, I'll give you two weeks off modeling" Gabriel said.

"Much better. And I want Lila away from me too. I don't want to see her in photoshoots ever again" Adrien added.

Gabriel has no idea what's gotten into Adrien. No matter how many times he twists the wedding ring, nothing is making Adrien obey. Little did he know somehow Venom made Adrien immune.

"So be it" Gabriel relented.

And of course, he received a call from Lila about the strange behavior from Adrien the other day and it frightened her a lot that she couldn't get close to Adrien at all. Not even with Marinette too.

"He's definitely possessed by something. I don't know what but provoking him would only get worse on his bad side" Lila said.

"I'll figure it out soon enough," Gabriel said.

"Don't try because it's not Adrien at all" Lila warned him.

"Not just his behavior?" Gabriel asked.

"You're not gonna believe it. It's not just him. It's also his classmate Dupain Cheng too. Both of them are possessed" Lila said.

"Are you sure?" Gabriel asked.

"Yes, it would explain their sudden change," Lila said.

A while later, Ladybug and Cat Noir were not themselves at all. It was like they desired to get the peacock and the butterfly miraculous back right now. Master Fu sensed how they've been acting strange for the past few days and he's not sure what. Ever since the battle in space, something changed them.

"No Akuma in sight today, Kitty," Ladybug said.

"That coward is out there. I know it. He just can't even face us kids because he doesn't know how to fight like a man" Cat Noir said.

"But using innocent people as pawns. But this plague must be stopped" Ladybug said.

"Willingly to make everyone pay the price of his madness," Cat Noir said.

"Yeah, unfortunately," Ladybug leans at a chimney.

"Paris is living in fear because of him, milady. I don't know how long we'll defeat him but he's wasting his life for nothing" Cat Noir said.

"Indeed, Kitty. If only we knew where he is" Ladybug said.

"If he wants what you have, he needs to come out himself," Symbug said.

"If he has the stomach for it," Ladybug said.

"But he doesn't," Symbug said.

"Unless we follow where the insect is coming from," Venom said.

"Sounds like a great idea Venom" Cat Noir said.

"It won't be as easy as it seems. Paris is mighty big" Ladybug said.

"Yeah. I still remember our dance fighting Volpina" Cat Noir smirked.

"Yes, well, it was just a way to distract her, puss in boots" Ladybug rolled her eyes.

"If I had a hat and sword, it would complete the look" Cat Noir teased.

"And speaking Spanish," Ladybug said.

"Si, mi compañero" Cat Noir spoke in Spanish.

"Hilarious but I'm starving again for chocolate," Venom said.

"Here you go" Cat Noir gave Venom one chocolate bar.

"Still no Akuma. I think we scared him quite a bit" Ladybug said.

"He's scared we're gonna bite his head off," Symbug said.

"I'm sure he is. We witnessed you biting the victim's head off in my place which was scary" Ladybug said.

"It's what we do on our planet," Symbug said.

"I know" Ladybug then looks over the city.
