Marinette made a cute mouse... There wasn't any question about it. The combination of pink and grey suited her, along with the twin buns that were adorned with soft pink ribbons. Her superhero outfit screamed Marinette.

She was adorable.
Cute.
Alluring.
Enticing.

Adrien tried to stop his muddled thoughts as he trained with his mouse partner in the snake-themed outfit. He was Aspik. Aspik wasn't supposed to know Multimouse's identity.

Running around the Parisian rooftops with her was not distracting. After all, he had seen her as Multimouse earlier too during her first mission against Kwamibuster. His first reaction that fateful day after seeing her had been that of relief. His mind had been way too tense and busy with the Akuma that he didn't have time to admire her. But today? Today, he didn't have the same pressure as earlier, his mind was at ease— a little too much at ease.

Looking at her from the corner of his eyes, he admired how strands of beautiful raven hair splayed out in a speed much lesser than theirs. Since when had he been so aware of her every motion?

Does she always look this kissable?

When Ladybug had first suggested to let their allies train and learn more by patrolling around the city, he had been onboard with the idea. It was a clever thing, after all. However, he had to go an extra mile to persuade her to give the Mouse Miraculous to Marinette. His biggest weapon had been his kitten eyes. He didn't quite understand her reluctance to give the Miraculous to his very good friend. It was just him who knew her Multimouse's identity. Did she not trust him enough? As much as that thought had stung him at first, he knew that Ladybug didn't think of him so poorly. He had been over the moon when she had finally given in and agreed to give Marinette another chance.

In retrospect, maybe his adamant demand had been fuelled by the thought that the only thing cuter than Marinette was Marinette in a mouse outfit. Stop it, Adrien!

"So," A melodious voice pulled him out of his disarray of postulation, "It seems like we're done for today." Multimouse landed on a flat rooftop with impressive precision. Seriously, was there anything this girl couldn't do?

Fortunately for him, his feet seemed to have a mind of their own and halted right beside her— only to land on a pair of stranded skates (that were probably forgotten by the kids who lived in the house below). His breath caught as he saw everything around him go past him in slow motion. With no control over his feet who surged forward on the skates, his eyes widened at the premonition of an inevitable fall. His arms stretched out in front of him before clamouring wildly on his either side for non-existent handles. Marinette- Multimouse(!) had a horrified expression on her face as she stood frozen in front of him. The skates finally rolled away from under his feet— leaving the inertia to pull him to the ground when his legs tripped someone who was probably coming to help him.

THUD!

The suit took the brunt of the fall as Adrien could only watch with stupefaction that Multimouse was falling right on top of him with her arms flailing as gravity took its toll on her. He extended his hands above him to make her fall as less painful as possible.

"Oof!" Was the last sound that escaped him before a loud smooch was heard. The blond's heart burst at the contact. Aspik saw his classmate's eyes widening in what he really hoped was anything but disgust. And- Oh God! Were his palms really touching what he thought they were touching? His brain screamed in panic at the proximity with the beautiful girl that was on him.

HE WAS KISSING MARINETTE!

Time slowed down as the two idiots stared into each others' eyes with countless emotions as their lips remained connected for what felt like minutes. Their simultaneous blushes of embarrassment (that were well-hidden) crept up to their necks.

"OH MY GOD!" Multimouse yanked her mouth away from his own as he resisted the overwhelming need to whine at the loss of warmth (he's blaming it on his cat-like tendencies). She shot up into a sitting position and hastily added, "I'm so sorry!"

Adrien found himself admiring the sight in front of him (on top of him?). Were Marinette's cheekbones always this gorgeous? Was her skin always so milky? He fought the urge to trace the edge of her pink and grey mask with his fingers that he wished were ungloved at that moment. This girl isn't good for my heart, he concluded. Not to mention the dangerous things her suit was doing to his body.

It took their dishevelled mess of brains an entire minute to realise that Marinette Dupain-Cheng was straddling Adrien Agreste.

"I AM SO SORRY!" The noirette cried out. She quickly scrambled away from him— allowing him to sit up as she babbled out incoherent apologies. She tried to shrink into herself and hugged her chest, embarrassed from their earlier position.

Why was she apologising? He should be the one to apologize. "Mar- err - Multimouse, I am so sorry." He couldn't meet her eyes but tried to convey his sincerity through his tone. Had he been Chat Noir at the moment, his feline ears would've flattened against his hair.

She looked up at him with a blush so red that it could make a tomato jealous... and fled away!

In his four years of knowing Marinette, Adrien had never seen her run so fast. He raised his fingers to tenderly touch his lips. They were tingling. He had actually kissed Marinette Dupain-Cheng! Sure, it had been an accident but their lips had touched.

He could practically hear Plagg guffawing. He sighed, that wretched ass of a kwami wasn't going to let him live this one down.

Marinette let out an embarrassed wail for the umpteenth time that evening as she paced up and down in her room whilst tugging at her pigtails in frustration. "I am doomed, Tikki! I am cursed with bad luck!"

The red kwami, who was now very familiar with her chosen's antics, chose to let her cool down on herself as that had proved to be the best solution in the past few years. And that's why she popped another mini-macaroon into her mouth while she enjoyed the show-- listened to her holder's problems.

"What if Adrien hates me now? What if he is so disgusted by me that he never wants to work with Multimouse again?!" She flopped onto her chaise with dejection, "At least he doesn't know my identity."

Tikki smirked to herself all too knowingly. The love square between her's and Plagg's chosen had only become more complicated over the years. It had become so frustrating that she had to stop Plagg from cataclysming himself. But this was going to be interesting...

"Oh, Dieu!" Marinette abruptly stood up from her lying position, "What if he gets me arrested for sexual assault?!"

The girl's kwami sighed. Interesting or not, it was going to be a loooooong night.

Marinette had a magnetic pull towards herself that had always attracted him. He had always enjoyed being close to her, but the events of last evening had seemingly opened another doorway of thoughts in the blond's mind that he wouldn't have dared to think about before.

Adrien was restless. He wasn't mad at her. Why would he be? What actually irked him was the fact that he didn't mind yesterday's mishap at all. No, in fact, he had found himself quite enjoying the pleasant sensations of Marinette's lips on his own. He was uncomfortable with the fact that he was perfectly comfortable with his friend's body being pressed to his.

Is it a bad thing to think of my very good friend who is just a friend in this manner?

Probably, yes.

Nino sent worried glances his way. It wasn't every day one could see 'the always cool and collected Adrien Agreste' this tense and on the edge. The class hadn't started and some of his classmates were yet to arrive. So is Marinette. He didn't know why he was so anxious to see her today. What if she decided not to be his friend after what happened yesterday? He sighed, at least she didn't know who Aspik was.

Suddenly, the door crashed against the wall, hinges screaming in abuse as Marinette flew through it, arms clutching around her school books in wide-eyed panic. She might have thought that she was going to be late again. His heart stuttered to a stop in response to being startled, hand curled to his chest as he attempted to restart it. The pounding in his ears confirmed success as he took in the sight of her.

Looking at her with greedy eyes that were darker in shade than moments before, he noticed that even though his sweet friend wasn't wearing anything particularly different, he wanted her in ways he had never really thought of for anyone else. The purr that settled in his chest embarrassed him.

Strange. Adrien didn't realise when he had risen from his seat to walk over to Marinette. Her eyes were wide with question. His hand reached up to cup her face, his eyes taking in her innocent expression and soft pale lips. A cat like himself needed a mouse this adorable, didn't he?

The classroom faded away. Her shy voice asked him to kiss her. How could he deny when her big, beautiful blue eyes looked at him like that? Their lips met again and this time he felt as if he was on cloud nine.

Why does this feel like something I've been missing all my life?

Pulling her flush towards him, his hands slid around her waist as his grip on her tightened in a way that felt just right. He needed more than just a chaste kiss. And his guilty conscience didn't have enough power over him anymore.

Gentle. Warm. Perfect. The only words he could logically think of for the feeling of her lips pressed against his. He needed more of this. More of her. His lips wandered down the line of her jaw while the hand on her back pulled her closer, even closer— melding her curves against him in a way that made it hard to think of anything.

Soft squeaks and breathless gasps at his touch left him whirling. But it was the whispered words, "I want you, Adrien," against his ear that rendered him mindless.

He responded with desperation. Claiming her lips again with much more intention, he relished in the feeling of her fingers getting tangled in his hair.

He didn't know how exactly they reached his bedroom, with both of them dressed in their pyjamas. Marinette's tank top gave him access to so much more skin. With a fire ablaze in his gut, he reached down to the junction of her neck and shoulder to mark her as his when. . .

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Gasping, Adrien sat up in his bed, shoving his hands deep into his hair. He was sweating profusely. He'd never had a dream that real, that... intense before. Especially about his sweet friend Marinette.

He looked around. 3 AM. He groaned at the time his watch read. Suddenly, he froze at a... little problem in front of him that was covered by his blanket.

Adrien sighed. He could almost hear Plagg making fun of him, "Oh no, kid. That's a very big problem."

Ashamed of himself, he got up and headed towards his bathroom. It was good that the black kwami was asleep or else he wouldn't have heard the end of it.

"Kid," Plagg said, wearing a no-mood-for-crap expression, "I am trying to enjoy some quality time with my precious Camembert here. Shoo."

*(record scratch)*

Outtake 2:

"PLAGG! I cheated on Ladybug! AAAAAAAH-" The blond was crying like a funny anime character whilst kneeling in front of his Ladybug shrine in his closet.

"You two aren't in a relationship, dumbass."
