Chat Noir noticed Ladybug avoided him more than usual. Marinette refused to speak to him. Why? Had he done something wrong?

Then he saw her talking with another boy. He sighed. She must have replaced him. 

   Chat Noir's  POV:

   "Plagg claws in."

      I  started to remove the ring.

   I could tell Plagg was confused.

  I  shook my head.

 "She has turned me away many times as the one who loves her. She refused to let me work alone with her more recently. Yet she trusts Rena Furgtive so much."

  "Nino told me once he was Carapace. I had my doubts, but one day I saw Carapace detransform. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be Nino."

"Then, she keeps secrets from me all the time as both Ladybug and Marinette."

"She refuses to tell me why she is so distant lately."

"I feel like she has replaced me in all aspects of her life, as her partner, friend, and mostly as her love."

  Plagg looked at me in confusion as it was the first he heard I cared a thing about Marinette. He could tell I was puzzled. He also knows more than he let on about Ladybug and Marinette.

     "Plagg, you will have to find some other Chat Noir."

  I removed the ring for the last time. As Plagg left with it, I felt the tears fall but tried to shove them away. 

   I hoped Ladybug was pleased with herself.

Little did I know how wrong I was.

  Ladybug's POV:

  I panicked when I saw Plagg.

 I noticed he had Chat's ring with him.

My worst fears were confirmed. He bailed out on me. He quit.

 Why did I do something wrong?

"Plagg, what happened?"

"Chat Noir thinks you replaced him."

"What? I have not replaced him."

"He wants you to find someone else to be Chat. He cannot be by your side anymore. "

    "Why?"

    I felt the tears fall.

   I  could not believe my ears.

  "He feels like you love another. He cannot handle the fact you trust others with secrets but not him."

    "Plagg, I could never replace him. Not ever."

      I  watched as Plagg left.

    Adrien's  POV:

  "Well, did you tell her?"    

 "Yes, I did, and she refuses to replace you."
  

 " I thought she loved Luka."

Plagg slapped me.

  "Ouch!"

  I put the ring back on.

 "What was that for?"

"For beginning such a dense boy that is what for, Adrien."

   I  had no idea what Plagg meant.

I did not have time to find out either.

I  saw an akuma snatch up Marinette.

"No!"

Plagg shook his head.

"Oh, right, Plagg claws out!"

 This time my suit was different. It was the signature black leather but with a few green edges to it and the mask had green on it too.

  I  had no clue what the new look meant for me.

   "Let her go!"

"Who are you?"

  I could tell both the akuma and my princess were shocked.

 "Oh, me I am uh, catwalker."

   I knew it was wrong of me to lie.

  I fought the crook and the akuma was freed.

   Who would catch it though?  Ladybug was nowhere in sight.

  "Ha, gotcha little akuma!  bye, bye little butterfly!"

    "Miraculous Ladybug!"

   I looked up in surprise.

     "How? When did she get here?"

   I scratched my head in confusion.

  I  went to pound it but she vanished. The villain did too.

I  stood alone face to face with Marinette.

" Catwalker, why are you standing there with your mouth, open?"

"Now, come on take me, home."

"Sure thing, Princess."

 I grinned.

 I took her back to her place.

I set her down on the balcony of her new home.

 I was about to jump away when she grabbed my tail.

"No kitty, I know you are Chat, by the way, I only pretended cause of the villain and all."

"How did you know?"

"I think I would recognize my partner anywhere."

   I was stunned. Marinette and Ladybug were the same ladies. I stood there crestfallen.   

    "Chat, do not say a word."

   Marinette pulled me close. She kissed me.

  It was then, that I knew Plagg was right all along. She would never replace me. Not in her heart or life.

    "Awe is the kitty, speechless?"  She giggled.

    I sighed and blushed.  "I love you, Marinette, ladybug."

  "I love you too, Chat Noir, Adrien, kitty."
