Forgetting Something Lover Boy ? by Summer Cheng (@SummerCheng37)

   Description

Adrien was late.  He knew she would be furious.

Adrien's  POV:

    I was stuck in traffic.

It was my wedding day, and I was not even at the church yet.

I  finally got out of the traffic and to the church.

Once inside I got in place.

"About time you got here, dude."

"Alya and I were beginning to think you ditched the bride."

"Nino, that is the furthest thing on my mind, man."

"Good, because Alya would kill me."

    I  laughed.

I watched as the bridesmaids came down the aisle, followed by the flower girl and my bride, Marinette.

"Psst, Adrien forgot something, lover boy?"

     I shook my head.

Nino pointed to my face.  It was then I knew I almost forgot to take my mask off.

    "Thanks, Nino."

"Adrien, you are cutting it rather close aren't you?"

This is the first thing Marinette said to me once we were gathered together at the front of the church.

   "Chill, I made it."

"I know, but it troubles me you almost forgot our wedding."

"I did not almost forget. I was stuck in traffic."

I  listened as the pastor spoke. I smiled as Marinette said her vows.

I said mine next,  "Yes, I do,"  I said in response to the pastor's question, "And do you Adrien Agreste take Marinette Dupain-Cheng, to have and to hold, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?"

I gave her the wedding band.

I was thrilled when the pastor said, "You may now kiss the bride."

Sure I had kissed her lots of times, but somehow this was different. This was the kiss that made it official. It made us officially Mr. and Mrs. Agreste.

I sure liked the sound of that yes I did.
