It was Valentine's Day at school and the class had arranged a special activity. It was basically secret Santa, but Valentine's Day themed.

Marinette was so happy. She had gotten Adrien and couldn't be happier.
The bell had rung and she looked in front of her. He wasn't there.

Maybe he's just running late. She thought.

Hours had gone by and it was time for the activity to begin.

"All right everybody time to exchange gifts!" The teacher clapped.

Everybody was having fun and chatting. She had gotten a gift from Nathaniel. It was a lovely painting of a dress. She smiled.

"Thank you Nathaniel." She gingerly smiled.

"Well it's nothing really." He chuckled.

"Do you mind if I make this dress. It's really beautiful and I'd love to wear something you came up with." She stated.

"Of course! As long as I get to see it when you're done." He smiled.

"Of course!" She said.

Nathaniel had gone back to his desk to draw.

Marinette continued to examine the dress and tried thinking of the fabrics and materials she should use.

With all the ruckus of the classroom the hours had seemed to fly by.

The bell had rung.

"All right everybody remember to do your homework and have a wonderful Valentine's Day." She smiled.

Marinette took quite the walk of shame.

She arrived at her house.

"Hi mom, I'll be doing homework so call me if you need anything." Marinette said.

"Alright dear." Sabine gingerly smiled.

Marinette threw herself into her bed.

The only day she could've given him the gift, it just had to be the day he was absent.

She sighed.

Marinette opened the box and took out the gorgeous navy blue sweater she had made for him. It was a bit bigger so it'd be more comfortable and it was very warm fabric as well.

She put it on her display and began to examine it. Making sure there were no flaws. There was a bit of a tear on the arm which she quickly fixed. Marinette set it aside and began to work on the dress.

She gathered blue and purple fabric. It was a nice cocktail dress that faded from top to bottom. The top part was a pastel purple and faded into a light pastel blue.

She had many hours to work on it.

By the time she was almost finished it had been pretty late.

She yawned and was gonna go to bed when she saw a glimpse of Chat from the corner of her eye.

She went and opened the window for him.

"Hello princess." He smiled.

"Hi chat." She said in a tired tone.

"This dress looks really nice." He said examining the dress.

"Today at school it was a Valentine's Day event and Nathaniel made me a painting of a dress. I decided to make the dress and show it to him when I was done." She proudly smiled.

Crap today was the gift exchange I totally forgot. Chat thought.

"Who did you give a gift to?" He asked.

"I was supposed to give it to a guy named Adrien, but he was absent today." She sighed.

Today was not the day to be absent. He told himself.

"What did you get him." He said.

All he saw was Marinette point over to an amazing navy blue sweater.

"You made this for him." Chat smiled.

"Of course I did, silly." She smiled.

"It must've taken you a while." He sighed.

"Took me a few days, but he probably wouldn't like it, it doesn't resemble what he usually wears." She said.

Omg Marinette are you freaking kidding me, like seriously. If I wasn't chat at this very moment I would've put on this sweater in 2 seconds. Chat thought as he looked at her.

"He'd love it."

"Is that so?" She said jokingly.

"I bet." He smirked.

"Alright fine. Now go home you dork it's getting late." She teased.

"Alright, but first let me give you something for Valentine's Day."

"Oh I'm honored." She chuckled.

He smiled at her remark.

"Close your eyes."

"Don't blame me if I fall asleep."

"You won't." He laughed.

"They're closed." She sighed.

Marinette was suddenly kissed by chat. His transformation wore off and he pulled away. Marinette had opened her eyes and was very flushed.

"Thanks for the sweater princess. It's lovely." He smiled.

"A-Adrien!?" She said furiously blushing.

"You're chat..." She said.

"Yup!" He smiled.

She suddenly remembered all of his flirting and that one time she kissed him. She was very close to fainting.

"Hey Marinette do you mind if I put on the sweater, I'm kinda chilly." He grinned.

"N-not at all.." She said trying to recollect her thoughts.

He put on the warm sweater while smiling.

"Told you I'd love it." Adrien smiled.

She shrugged. He walked up to her and hugged her.

"You cold?" He pondered.

"N-no.." She stuttered.

"Too bad." He said as he hugged her.

"Hey Marinette, can I tell you a secret."

"Of course."

"I actually really like you." He chuckled.

"I like me too." She giggled.

He glared at her, then burst out laughing.

"I fell right into that one." He said while laughing.

"Yep you did." She said while smiling.

"Oh well." He said before kissing her again.
