Summary: What would've happened if Marinette noticed Adrien was missing his ring before he left?

Adrien was about to enter the car but before he could Marinette noticed something missing from his finger, "Wait!"

Adrien turned to her, "Yeah?"

"Can I talk to you privately real quick?"

Adrien turned to his father on the screen, "Can I?"

Gabriel sighed, "5 minutes."

Marinette wasted no time and grabbed Adrien's hand, pulling him into an alley.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" Adrien asked.

Marinette noticed the sadness in his eyes which only proved her theory even more. She took a deep breath and looked him in the eyes, "Where's your ring?"

Adrien looked at her surprised, "Wha- What ring?"

"You know the one your always wearing, it's silver?"

"Oh yeah, I uh, I gave it to someone," He replied.

"Really, because you refused to take that ring off when we took that redo photograph because it was too important." Marinette countered.

"Well I uh- Adrien do you trust me?" Marinette cut him off.

"Umm yes?"

"Close your eyes and don't open them until I say so."

"Ok?" Adrien said confused but closed his eyes.

Marinette slid the Cat Miraculous on his finger and it immediately turned into a silver ring. She then gasped in surprise and hugged him.

"M- Marinette?" Adrien exclaimed in surprise.

"You stupid stupid cat, don't ever do that to me again! I thought I would never see you again!" Marinette cried.

Adrien opened his eyes to see his miraculous back on his finger, "Ladybug?"
Marinette nodded still hugging him. Adrien quickly hugged back.

After two more minutes of hugging Adrien pulled away, "I'm sorry M'lady, but I need to get back to Paris now."

Marinette grumbled, "Fine, we'll talk more in Paris. Bye kitty!"

"Goodbye Marinette!" Adrien called and walked into the car.

Marinette sighed sadly at the thought of having to wait till tomorrow to see him. Little did she know that she would be able to see him a bit sooner than expected.
