Summary: What if Sandboy returned? Would Marinette and Adrien have the same nightmares or did they change? And if they did... would they be worse then before?

3rd Person POV

"Sandboy just checked in, now nightmares can begin."

"MARINETTE!! Wake up!!! Sandboy's back!" Tikki shouted trying to wake her holder up.

"Oh great, more nightmares. Let's transform. Tikki, spots on!" Marinette called and transformed into her alter ego, Ladybug.

She swung to the Montparnasse Tower where Chat Noir and Sandboy were fighting.

"Hey Kitty, you ready?"

"Yeah," He yawned, "It's 3am, let me sleep!"

Ladybug chuckled and they started battling Sandboy. They were mostly going on defense to avoid the magical powder... they didn't need Ladybug losing her powers.

"Chat! Watch out!" Ladybug yelled trying to push Chat out of the way only to result in her tripping.

The powder sprinkled over Chat Noir and Ladybug looked around to find her evil alter ego. What she found wasn't an evil side of her but instead she was hurt. She looked extremely injured. Ladybug looked at Chat shocked that this was his new nightmare.

"Ladybug!?" Chat yelled rushing over to the nightmare, "LADYBUG!! WAKE UP!! PLEASE!!" The real Ladybug stared at Chat in shock and kept Sandboy away.

"Ladybug... wake up. Please... I can't lose you too," Chat cried.

A familiar purple mask came up on Sandboy's face so Ladybug chose that moment to go comfort Chat.

"Chat, I'm right here. I'm ok, it's just a nightmare," She said placing her hand on his shoulder.

Chat turned around, "M'lady?"

Ladybug nodded and he quickly hugged her. She hugged back and then gave him a determined smile, "C'mon, lets go defeat that akuma."

They jump back into action this time going into offense. They should've called on their powers earlier but the powder sprinkled over Ladybug right as she was about to call on her lucky charm.

"Oh no! I can't do the cure without my lucky charm" Suddenly, a familiar polka dotted item fell in Ladybug's hands. (A/N: Let's pretend that Ladybug and Chat Noir have more than 5 minutes before they transform back, k?)

"Wait what? I thought I lost my powers?" She asked surprised.

"What is it?" Chat asked.

"A picture.. of... Adrien and Marinette? ON A DATE?!" The bug blushed.

"Wait what!?"

"Little kitty on the rooftop, all alone without his lady." Ladybug froze. She knew that song and voice and Chat Noir was right in front of her.

"Isn't that... a song I made up?" Chat asked confused.

"Chat... when you see him, destroy the bell. No questions asked," Ladybug whispered.

"How am I not supposed to ask-" "M'lady! It's nice to see you again," A familiar white cat said.

Chat looked at Ladybug in shock, "W-Who w-when?"

"You didn't tell him about me? Why, that's not right," The white doppelgänger shook his head.

"J-Just give me your bell Chat," Ladybug said reaching out to it.

He leaped away, "How many times do I need to tell you? It's Chat Blanc."

Suddenly Hawkmoth appeared, "Chat Blanc, help me get the miraculous. You can destroy Ladybug!"

"Why would I help you? And why do you think I want to destroy her? You're the reason it all happened anyway!!" Chat Blanc sent a cataclysm to Hawkmoth and he dissolved into ashes.

Sandboy transformed back into a boy and all of the nightmares except Chat Blanc disappeared.

Ladybug and Chat were shocked, "Y- you just cataclysmed him! How are you still here?!"

Chat Blanc shrugged, "Guess it's because I am more of a memory instead of a nightmare. Now someone go take the boy back home."

Ladybug quickly dropped him back home and swung back. "Ok, can you please just give me the bell?"

"Nope, not until I make my life here the same as it was there," He smirked.

"Wait- what do you mean by that?" Chat asked.

Blanc turned towards LB, "You know exactly what I mean don't you.......... Marinette? NOW GIVE ME YOUR MIRACULOUS!!!"

Ladybug turned to Chat who was looking at her in shock. She wanted to talk to him but for now she had to avoid the white cat coming after her, trying to take her miraculous. "Chat! Some help would be nice?"

After she called, Chat finally broke out of his reverie, "R-Right. Leave her alone!"

"Don't you want to be happy? With the miraculous you could be happy again, just like before mother disappeared. You no longer need to be alone," Blanc said reaching out to Chat's ring.

"He isn't alone," A voice ringed out from behind Blanc, "He. Has. Me." Ladybug flipped over Blanc ripping the bell off and punching it. To her surprise, he didn't turn back to black.

He chuckled, "What? Expected me to turn back? I thought you were smarter than that purrincess."

"Wha- buh- but it worked last time!?"

Blanc sighed, "I'm not actually akumatized at the moment, M'lady."

"Buh- But now what am I supposed to do?"

Chat looked around and saw the picture in Ladybug's hand, "The picture! Ladybug, show him the picture!"

"How is that supposed to make it better?" She asked.

Chat looked her in the eye, "Do you trust me?" She nodded. "Then show him the picture."

"Uhh Chat, look at this picture," Ladybug called waving it at him.

Blanc took the picture, "I said it's Blanc- Oh I remember this.... This was our first date M'lady! It was amazing! Of course there was the paparazzi and Alya- Oh my goodness, Alya was interrogating you so much the next day, I couldn't even talk to you....

Ladybug blinked once, then twice, then three times, and then her jaw dropped. Chat rubbed his neck but looked at Blanc, "You don't need the miraculous for this."

"What do you-"

Chat sighed, "If you make the life you want then Ladybug won't be happy."

"Of course she will, she won't remember this and the miraculous-"

"Maybe, but she won't be the same. Every wish has a price and that might not even be it."

Ladybug stepped forward, "He's right, without the miraculous I would still have been insecure and I wouldn't have met Tikki or... you."

Chat smiled but Blanc backed away, "Buh- But the miraculous gave you more stress and we met at school."

"Yeah, but I hated you right off the bat," She turned to Chat Noir, "Sorry for that by the way."

Chat nodded and Blanc smirked, "But it wasn't hate after I apologized, was it?"

Ladybug turned red, "I told you that too?!"

Chat gave her a confused look, "Told me or him what?"

LB shook her head, walked towards Chat, and put a hand on his shoulder, "That's not the point. The point is, even if you don't use the miraculous, Chat still has me and he won't be alone. Never ever will."

Chat Noir smiled and a single tear of happiness escaped his eye as he looked at his bug with love and adoration.

Blanc smiled softly and looked between the two, "My work here is done. Here you go Princess."

Ladybug takes the picture and throws in the air, "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!!"

A flash of light overcome the city, fixing everything including Hawkmoth, "...What just happened?"

"You were cataclysmed, you should probably go before it happens again," Chat smiled completely sleep deprived.

Hawkmoth quickly leaped away. Ladybug and Chat would deal with him another day, for now they had more important matters to discuss.

"So."

"So."

"You're Marinette."

"And you're Adrien."

"That's me! .....Are we gonna talk or...?"

Ladybug sighed and looked at the time, "You know what, tomorrow's the weekend. Recharge Plagg and meet me on my balcony in 5, hot cocoa and pastries will be waiting."

They both leaped away to their houses and desperately hoped that in 5 minutes, their questions would be answered.
