Marinette watched Chat Noir put his ring on the ground. She didn't think, she just did. She would not lose her partner no matter what.

"Don't go!" Marinette yelled and turned the corner. What she saw was a complete surprise, "A-A-Adrien?!?!"

"M-Marinette?"

With a burst of confidence Marinette strode forward, "You- You- You idiot! Why would you do that?!"

Adrien winced, "B-Because I m-messed up and it was all my f-fault."

"Of course it's not your fault, it's mine! I didn't hear you out and I said you broke my trust. It was my fault you had to come to New York anyway. I'm the one who convinced your father! And what were you thinking, taking off your ring! I can't do this without you, I need you!" Marinette exclaimed, eyes filled with tears.

Adrien was dumbstruck. He never noticed how much his lady actually needed him.

"I'm sor-mmph!" He started but Marinette cut him off with a kiss on his lips. After processing, Adrien kissed back with as much love.

Marinette pulled away after a bit with a light blush on her face, "J-Just don't do it again."

Adrien nodded dumbly with a love struck grin on his face. Marinette suddenly glared at him which broke him out of his reverie, "W-What's wrong?"

"Ring," she stated simply.

"Oh... right," Adrien said and put his ring back on.

Marinette smiled at him, "Ready to go?"

Adrien smiled back and took her hand, "Ready."

They walk to the ladder and Adrien goes up first, but before he could come out, he hissed and closed the lid.

Marinette gave him a concerned look, "What's wrong?"

"It's raining," He hissed.

Marinette smirked, "Afraid of a little water? Huh Kitty?" Adrien spluttered and turned around with a pout.

Marinette sighed and shook her head fondly, "Oh alright, I guess. Tikki, spots on!"

Adrien marveled at her transformation, "What are you doing?"

"Well since you're being such a scaredy-cat, I thought I'd use my lucky charm," Ladybug shrugged and a polka dotted umbrella fell into her arms.

Ladybug detransformed into Marinette and gave Tikki another cookie. "Come on let's go," Marinette called holding her hand out so Adrien could grab it. Adrien took her hand and they walked back to the hotel together.

Once they got back to the hotel, Alya and Nino looked at the two of them holding hands and almost fainted. After they recovered, they smirked and pointed at their hands, "Sooooo?"

Adrien and Marinette blushed, "Oh yeah...."

"Who confessed!?!" Alya interrogated.

Adrien was confused and oblivious so Marinette answered, "Adrien." It was the truth anyway, Adrien did confess to her first.

Nino gaped, "Dude! You have a crush on Marinette?"

"Umm yeah?" Adrien said confused.

Alya and Nino gaped, "HOW DID YOU KEEP THAT A SECRET AND STILL NOT KNOW MARINETTE HAD A CRUSH ON YOU?!?!?"

"Wait, you have a crush on me?" Adrien asked Marinette.

"Surprise," Marinette said sheepishly.

"Wait hold on, what happened?" Alya asked.

"Well to sum it all up, things happened, he confessed, other things happened, and I kissed him," Marinette explained.

"Wait Wait Wait, The Marinette Dupain-Cheng just kissed The Adrien Agreste who she has a huge crush on. And now you aren't even stuttering or being a clumsy?" Alya said.

Marinette pouted, "It's not that hard to believe."

"Yes it is," Alya and Nino stated.

"Gee, your faith in me is amazing," Marinette said sarcastically.

"Hey guys, can I talk to Marinette privately?" Adrien asks.

"Sure Agreste, but hurry up. I still need details." Alya said before Adrien dragged Marinette away.

After going to a private corner, Adrien turned to Mari, "You have a crush on me?"

"Umm yes?" She replied.

"And you rejected Chat Noir because you liked me?"

"Umm yes actually."

"So we were idiots?"

"That's a definite yes."

"Well then, M'lady, will you be my girlfriend?" Adrien asked holding out a red rose from who knows where.

Marinette smiled and took it, "Of course Kitty." With that they close the gap between them ready for the future.
