Personality: Alex is normally a very serious, reserved person. The only ones who really see a more gentle persona with him are Tikki and Kei Sakura, who are his best friends. As Bug, Alex has a dry sense of humor, but will be serious enough to know when to behave, as he is the leader of the group. He doesn't get along with Foxglove, though he is rather friendly with her until they start butting heads with similar ideas or he gets suspicious that she wants to replace him as leader.

Friends: Ironically, a lot of people would think that his friendship with Kei wouldn't work because of how their personalities are, but Kei Sakura is his best friend, his go-to person, and he's very protective of her.
Back story: Alex was born to Zane and Grace Thorne, recent newlyweds. They didn't treat him very well, calling him a mistake all the time. He basically took care of himself, and his younger siblings when they came along. He honestly felt relieved when they left and he and his little siblings were safe. They got adopted into a little family and all was well. He met Kei when she transferred from Japan when she was 13. They became best friends almost right away. When he met Tikki, he felt a bond with her for sure, though he was shocked when she first appeared.

Personality: Kei is very friendly, very bubbly, and very sweet. She's Alex's best friend, and he's hers, and she loves him like friends should. She's a very good baker and usually brings treats to the school for everyone to share. She's also very family oriented, hanging out with her parents as much as possible. She adores Trixx, she finds her very sweet. As Foxglove, she's still very bubbly and sweet, but she doesn't trust Bug as he seems to be the sort of 'fake nice' that rubs off the wrong way with her. They almost instantly clash, as she has ideas and they are almost always the same as his so it annoys her. She's very genuine with the other members of the team, though.

Friends: As for her best friend, it's Alexander Thorne, her favorite person besides her parents. And she has a friend in Japan that she always writes to, her childhood best friend/childhood sweetheart Aoi Kenji (male).
Back story: Kei was born to Akio (father) and Ayame (mother) Sakura in Japan. They were the head of a big Japanese mafia group, though Kei had no idea of that as she grew up. She met her childhood best friend Aoi at a mafia meeting, and they became close, even sharing their first kiss together when they were 10. When she turned 13, she and him broke up because she was moving away, but they are still close. When she met Alexander, they became the best of friends, her teaching him Japanese and him teaching her English. They grew to love each other fully, as best friends.
