Marinette P.O.V.

I walked on the muddy streets pushing the wooden doors that marked Dupain Cheng bakery.

"Is this the place?" The girls asked. I simply nodded.

"Hello?"

"Welcome to the Dupain Cheng bakery. How can I-"

"Sabine is that you?" A replica of myself stood by the counter.

I was about to speak until she jumped over the counter and gave me a hug.

"Its been so long." She muttered. I felt a little awkward so I said.

"No, I'm Marinette her daughter."

"Oh, well I'm Bridgette her cousin."

"Well that makes you my first cousin."

We just stared at each other until she saw my friends behind me.

"Hey I'm Bridgette....what is your name."

"My name is Alya, how long have you had this shop opened?"

"A good bit, but it's nothing soon this place will be gone."

Alya was about to ask why. When she turned towards Alix.

"Nice blades, what's your name?"

"Oh my name is Alix."

"Then hello Alix." Bridgette turned towards Rose but I soon saw a ying necklace similar to mines. No the exact!

"Hello the one who smells like roses. What is your name?"

"Rose."

"I love your name."

"I get that a lot."

Bridgette soon heard a grumble and turns towards Marinette who's eye's adjusted downwards. She followed the direction to see Tikki smiling weakly.

"TIKKI!" Brigette bellowed giving her a huge hug. Marinette was really confuse with this.

"How do you know her name?"

"Tikki? Well I had her when she was born and took care of her for about two years."

"Really?"

"Really."

"Um, sorry to interrupt your family moment but I'm kind of hungry." Alix said rubbing her stomach to prove her point.

"Same."

"Ditto."

Bridgette just laugh turning towards the counter. She gestured towards the pastries the girls mouth watering when they saw each.

"W-we could..." Alya asked tears welling up in her eyes.

"Yes. I was about to close the shop anyway."

That was all needed to be said for they dashed towards the macarons and savour them some eating with a little dignity.

Marinette and Bridgette just laughed at that.

"So...cousin." Bridgette called out

"Are you here for the festival?" Bridgette asked turning towards the door that leads towards the living room.

"No....actually I came here to become a Musketeer." Marinette replied the girls at once stopped eating to see her reaction.

"Really!" Bridgette said smiling.

"I wanted to become one too. Well I hope you succeed." Brigette muttered to herself and thank the Lord Marinette didn't hear.

She turned around to look at Marinette.

"I hope you talked to Master Fu."

"I did."

"Great. But tomorrow is the festival. I think you guys would love to wear something new." Bridgette said pointing at their outfits.

"Wait what's wrong with my clothes?"

"Nothing!" Marinette said but stopped like she was questioning life then spoke.

"But..... It would be amazing to see you in another outfit~"

"Nope, I'm out!" Alix retorted.

Alix grabbed a plate full of different pastries heading towards the door when Tikki stopped her.

"Oh not the eyes!"

"Fine...... But I am NOT wearing a dress." Alix shouted which the girls snickered at.

"Well come on!" Bridgette called them in and to say amazement to match their faces I'll be lying.

"This looks way different than how it looked in the bakery."

"Are you secretly rich!"

"It looks beautiful!"

"Is this my dad?" Marinette asked pointing at a painting of her family.

"Yeah you were only a baby when this was painted."

"And no I'm not rich......I just have a friend who....you see." She said gesturing towards the place.

"Come on!"

Brigette said grabbing everyone pulling them into her bedroom.

"Please don't study the bits of fabric on the floor."

As soon as Bridgette said that she and Marinette tripped over a ball of yarn each.

"Wha!"

"Meow!"

"So anyone knows how to sew?" Bridgette asked sitting on a stool taking out a bittersweet fabric.

"I can!" Marinette replied happy to sew after weeks of training.

Alya, Alix and Rose watched as the two raven-haired girls hummed while giving a back-stitch on the fabric.

Wow! I thought memorized by the lights and mostly watching two musketeers fight.

"Marinette come on!" Alya- well Rena Rouge called out through the crowd.

I ran towards her tackling her in the process.

"Hey! My name is Ladybug!" I called out referring to my ladybug outfit.

"Oh yeah, ready to make a statement-"

"Without saying a word?" I called out waving the girls over by Bridgette who was working at the food stand.

"Bingo."

I strayed away from the girls for when I was with Alix me and Bridgette was mistaken for twins.

And with Rose their was too much perfume.

How can she still survive?!

Which was my only thought for the girl.

Alya is very sly and somewhat famous in the sense, I mistaken another being to be her.

And Bridgette nothings wrong with her. The only thing is she knows and remembers more of my father than I do....and it still feels awkward.

I walked through the lit up street towards the palace. After all they are giving us a free entrance to the library.

Maybe I can see Sabrina and Max.

And finally know who's Marcov.

I walked pass the guards after greeting them with a smile on my face.

I walked towards a crowd of people swarming around the library and soon bumped into Sabrina.

"Oh hello, Marinette!" Sabrina said giving a tight hug.

"Hi Sab."

"The library is really packed!" I said looking upstairs to notice more than fifty people there.

"Yeah. Its really tough to watch over the library like this."

"Affirmative, Salutations Marinette." Max came waving at me slightly.

"Salutations Max."

"Can you please help us with watching these visitors?" A little boy said in a very desperate tone.

"Oh, hi! And of course I'll help...."

"Its Marcov." The little boy said outstretching his hand.

"So your Marcov." I replied registering his appearance.

He wore a knitted sweater with brown trousers and black shoes. His hair is a strawberry blonde and was partly covered in a bowler.

"Affir-mative." He replied pausing a little mouthing the words then finished.

"Okay, so you will be upstairs along with me!" Marcov replied happily.

"Then lets go!"

We were monitoring everyone for hours. Sometimes I'll be reading a fairy tale for the kids. And soon enough each one of them fell asleep.

"Thank you." A kind lady said picking up her baby boy, August and walking off.

Most people left really. I stayed back to organize the books back in its normal place. And with Marcov help I was able to learn about the dewy decimal.

After a few hours I walked back upstairs but not empty handed. In each hand was a cleaning supply.

I swept the floor and was amazed to see a little speck dust on the tiled floor. I hummed a tune Bridgette taught me, saying Papa used to hum it a lot. It wasn't too long until I was finish with half of the job. I picked up the wash cloth dipped it in the  water and rubbed the tiles.

I was nearly finished when I saw Chat Noir hanging from the same aircraft I saw Prince Adrien made. Just much bigger. I scan his outfit and my eyes opened in shock.

That's not Chat Noir.... That's Prince Adrien!

I ran towards the window and leap through, landing on one of the roof tiles.

I'm lucky I changed outfits before I started to read to the kids. I thought imaging how silly I would of looked in front of Prince Adrien.

I jumped once again over another three tiles and rushed towards the bells.

If I want to reach him on time I have to past by the bells. I opened my eyes in alarm to see the bells moving side to side really fast.

I'm not going to make- I slide on the floor the bell inches from my face and I ran towards the aircraft. This time I was close enough to hear the Prince's cry for help.

"Help, someone! Please!"

"I'm coming your highness!" I bellowed jumping into the giant basket. As soon as I landed I turned towards the edge to noticed he was at the rim of the basket.

"How did you-"

"Can you pull me up please?" He sounded like he was about to pass out from the position he was in.

"Oh yes!" I scrambled for his hands and pulled him up with a little difficulty, when I was able to get him inside I lost grip making the both of us tumble in the basket. Making it face the direction East.

I groaned opening my eyes to notice green eyes staring at me. I felt heat rising to my cheeks and I scrambled away. Muttering an apology.

"I'm so sorry your highness!" I started but he cut me off by shouting.

"Trees!" He rushed towards the center of the basket and tugged on the rope that was hanging from it. At once the aircraft raised upwards; while I almost lost my balance. I noted he was still tugging the rope even though we were over the trees though. Or so I thought.

I saw a huge pine tree coming our direction; but most likely we're coming towards it. I ran towards him tugging the rope as well. Until we were high in the sky.

I looked at my hands to noticed it was right on top of his. I quickly reacted moving my hands and walked casually to the edge admiring the sunrise.

"Its.... miraculous." We both said simultaneously staring at how the sun rays illuminated through the clouds. And reflected on the Prince's hair.

"Why did you launch this...aircraft if you wasn't prepared to fly it?" I asked confused.

"I wasn't.....I...I just was going to....I want man to fly!" He said pausing in a few words.

I was preparing to say something when he continued.

"I really don't need criticism at this time."

"I wasn't really going to say that...."

"I'm sorry...it's just after my mom's death everything isn't the same."

"But I remember one thing she said."

"Never lose hope even if- everyone seems its impossible." I joined smiling back at him.

And he smiled his royal gift at me.

"So what aspirations and dreams do you have?"

"What! Nothing." I replied a little too fast.

"Oh, don't be pulling my whiskers....everyone has a dream."

I sigh preparing to speak.

"I want to become a- a... A Musketeer." I replied looking down.

"Really?! I never heard of a female being a Musketeer." I didn't know what happened but I felt a string snapped; I knew the Prince didn't mean it but....what if he did.

"That's because I'm the first!" I screamed at him tears cascading from my face. To say he looked shock would be an understatement.

What he did next made me cry even more.

"Come here." He opened his hands gesturing me to let it all go.

I ran towards him knocking the wind out of me and sobbed.

"What's your name?" He asked patting my hair as I cried on him.

"M-Marinette. Your highness." I said my nose by his neck.

"Please, call me Adrien."

"Adrien." It felt normal and he smiled in return.

"Well Marinette, I never insulted you for wanting to become a Musketeer, did I?"

"No..."

"I find that its cute and brave that you are pursuing your dreams."

"You d-do?" I asked moving my face away.

"Yes, I can even say I'm.... A professional in it."

"Of course you are, your a prince." I replied flatly.

"Marinette, being a prince doesn't change me from being human....I make mistakes as well."

At that same time we landed and I tumbled out of the basket and next to two guards.

"Are you okay?" Adrien asked peeking through.

"Yeah...." I trailed off when hearing the bells ring.

Oh my- I'm going to be late!

I ran off towards the chambers to change in my official maid uniform and dashed to the ballroom.
