Description

 Chole sat on the bench inside the sandwich shop.  

Chole's POV:

She waited for what seemed forever.

What was taking the guy so long?

 "Miss, is something wrong?"

"Yes, my date stood me up."

"If I dated you, I would not stand you up."

"Here is your sandwich."

She opened the wrapper. She was astonished to see the bread toasted, cheese melted, ham, turkey, spinach, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, Italian dressing, and mayonnaise.

  "How did you know my order?"

"I have worked here for years. I memorized your order."

"Thanks, handsome."

Luka could scarse believe it.  The young lady called him handsome.

    Chole laughed. The server was cute when he blushed.

     She took out her phone and showed him her number.  

    Luka added her number to his phone and his number to her phone.  

     Chole ate the sandwich. Then waved bye to Luka.

      Luka asked her out a few weeks later when she returned for another sandwich.

       "Bad date?"

  "No, I just wanted a sandwich made by the cute guy."

"Cute guy?"

"Yes, you silly."

Luka smirked, fixed the sandwich, and asked her out.

   "Yes, I would be delighted to go out with you."

     Years later, Luka and Chole are still together.

 They have been married for three years.

Their daughter is two years old.

  The two ordered Chinese take out.

  Throughout the years they never forget how they fell in love at first sight at the local Sandwich Shop.
