Description

   What will Chole tell Luka?  She is sure it will break his heart.

    Chole's  POV:

    I hear the girls enter the bathroom.

   I listen closely.

   To my horror, I overhear Kagami saying how much a bore Luka is to her.

  I   wait until those horrid girls leave.

  Poor Luka is being used and does not even know it.

   I am his best friend.

  I suppose it is my job to tell him.

   I  flush, exit the stall, and wash my hands as soon as the giggly girls are gone.

    I  dry my hands with the paper towel nearby.

     Now, to find Luka.

     Ugh, the rotten girlfriend of his is clinging to his arm.

    Great, I will have to wait to tell him later.

      After school, I wait on the steps for him to come out.

      I  smile when I see him alone.

     "Hi, Luka!"

     "Hi, bestie!"

       I  give him a high five.  I laugh as he returns the gesture.

       "Chole, you alright?"

        I did not realize I was frowning until he spoke up.

      "Luka, I am sorry to be the one to tell you this."

      I  told Luka everything. 

     I could tell he had his doubts. 

    "How dare you insult my girlfriend?"

     I  look up to see Kagami in the embrace of another boy.

    "Luka, look!"

        Luka looks, and I see his face fall.

        I  watch him go over to Kagami. A few seconds later, he comes back over to me.

        "Chole, you were right. I am sorry, I should have listened to you."

        "I am sorry she broke your heart."

        I kiss him and he surprises me when he kisses me back.
