Description:   In this one-shot Luka, and Chole is playing with walkie-talkies.   Chole cannot leave her home or have visitors. The doctor's orders say as much since Chole has chickenpox.  Why risk the off chance someone catches them?

       "Hi, Chole! How are you?"

        "I am feeling rather itchy now."

        "Itchy?"  Luka asks.

        "Yes, itchy on account of all the spots."

          "Ah, yes, your mother did say you have the chickenpox." 

             Chole hears laughter outside the door to her bedroom. She frowns.

               "Zoe, it is not funny!"

                "Oh, sure it is cause you are all couped up in your room on a  Friday."

                 "Yes, what of it?"

                 "Well, why could you have gotten sick on a weekday?  It is practically the weekend already."

                   "Zoe, do not tease your sister. She can help the fact someone was sick at school, and she had to come home early. You have not had them, you know."                     

                   "Yes, mother, I know."

                    "Now, you get away from the door and go back downstairs.  You have homework to do anyway."

                   "Okay, right away, mom!"

                    Zoe rushes downstairs and goes right to work on her math homework.

                    Meanwhile, Chole sighs.

                     "Luka, you still there?"

                     "Yes, I am here."

                    "Good, I am so ever in need of a friend right now."

                   "I missed you after you left, you know."

                     "Awe, I missed you too."

                    "You know something?"

                   "No, what?"

                   "You are the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on!"

                  Chole blushes. She is grateful that Luka can not see how red her face is right now.

                      "Luka, we are only in the ninth grade."

                      "So you are the prettiest girl to me!"

                    "In the ninth grade, right?"

                     "No, I mean in the world."

                      Luka hears his mother calling him. He frowns. 

                        "Luka, do you copy?"

                       "Yes, I am here."

                       "Luka, I think you are cute!"  He feels his face turn red at the compliment.

                      "Thank you, pretty lady!" 

                          "I have to go, my mother is calling me."

                            "Okay, got it. See you!"

                             "I will be seeing you, Chole."

                              Chole smiles as Luka turns off his walkie-talkie. She turns hers off as well.

                            She yawns.  She falls asleep happy that he spoke to her.
