Description: In this one-shot story, Luka works as a waiter at a restaurant. He accidentally gets the order wrong for this dashing customer, who he might add is the type who is probably already taken.   How could a girl like her possibly be single?

       "Hi, I am Luka Cuffaine, and I will be your waiter for tonight."

         "Great, I am Chole Bougerious, and I will have the house salad, no croutons with Thousand Island dressing, and half a grilled cheese sandwich."

          "Got it, and what about your drink, Miss?"

          "I will have the apple cider."

           "Alright, may I have your menu please?"

          Chole takes a good look at the waiter then. She blushes. Man, was it hot in here, or was it him?   She shakes her head. She does not have any time for a serious relationship. At least that is what her manager told her. To bad too because this one was a total dream.

            "The Menu?"  

        "Ah, yes, sorry, I uh, was distracted."

         "Well, do not worry, I am sure your boyfriend is doing just peachy."

            "Boyfriend, surely you jest. I do not have a boyfriend."

           "Whoa, you are single, but I thought that you must be in a serious relationship. I mean you have the gentle heart, the charming smile, and the dashing eyes. Oh, and that outfit."

            "Oh, this old thing?  I have had it for years."

           Luka walks off not sure what to make of the conversation he had with the blonde. Goodness, how does he always find himself in such predicaments? He should have known better to assume she was single. He hopes his boss does not find out. Otherwise, he is sure to have no end of teasing about it for sure.

         "Well, Luka how it is going?"

          "Hmm,"  Luka said.

         "I asked how it is going?"  His boss Nino remarked.

        "It is fine. I only made a fool of myself when I took a recent order that is all."

           "Lad, do not worry, I am sure the customer will understand."  Nino gives him a pat on the back as he speaks.

            Luka nods his head in agreement.  He still fells a bit nervous on the job despite this being his second day at it.  He tells the cook the order, house salad, no croutons, Thousand Island dressing, tomato sandwich, and a large apple spiced tea.

             As soon as the food is done, he proudly presents it to her.

         Chole smiles but then frowns. " I will keep the salad and dressing. However, the sandwich is all wrong. I asked for half a grilled cheese not tomato, and an apple cider. This is tea."

         Luka feels the sweat fall down his face in embarrassment at the slip-up.  "I will fix it right away, Miss Bougerious."  He takes the plate with the sandwich and the tea glass away.

           He sees a mother wave him over to her table. "Yes, Madame?"

               "My son ordered a large apple spiced tea and he did not get it."

           "Oh, sorry about that then this is yours, I believe."  He set the tea glass in front of the ladies' son.

                Luka returns to the kitchen. He explains the situation to the cook and his boss overhears.

                 "Luka, I know this is your second day on the job, but try to be more careful next time."  Nino reprimands him.

                 "Yes, sir."

              Luka takes the glass of apple cider to the table where Chole waits on him.  "Sorry, again about the mix-up, Miss Bougerious. The drink is on the house."

             "Oh, you do not have to do that sir."

              "I insist. Besides, my boss owns the place and he says I am to do this."

                Chole appears to be taken aback by the look on her face. Once she gets over her initial shock she takes a sip out of the cider.  "It is delicious and the salad is grand by the way."

                  Luka sees another waiter set a plate down in front of her. It is then it dawns on him he dwaddled again since the other guy brought her the grilled cheese.

                   "Glad to hear it."   He leaves the table with his face all red.

            The others in the backroom laugh.  It is so funny to see Luka all flustered around the famous Bougerious actress.  They agree he is oblivious to how well-known she is anyway.

              Chole finishes her meal a few minutes later. She heads to the restroom. She reapplies her mascara. There done. She pays for her meal disappointed she does see the hottie in the blue shirt again.  She makes sure he gets a nice tip though.

               "Tell him the tip is for such a grand time.  I will definitely give this place a five star and I will come back.  I will even let my friends know."  She rolls her tongue as she says the friends part in a rather sarcastic manner.
