Hand to Hand by Summer Cheng (@SummerCheng37)
Description
Luka holds the box in his hand. Has he chosen right? Did he pick the right girl to marry?
Luka's POV:
I look around in the crowd.
"Chole," I call out her name.
I feel the box inside my jacket. Did I make the right choice?
"Chole Bougerious," I shouted louder than before.
I see someone pushing their way through the crowd. As she makes her way toward me, I smile.
"Luka, you made it," Chole says.
"I would not miss your party for all the events in the world," I said.
I took her aside. I held her hand. She blushed.
I kissed her. I relaxed as she kissed me.
Chole saw me as I was about to pass out. How embarrassing. She got a stool out for me. I sat on it. She handed me a glass of water. I drank it.
I kissed her hand. I grinned big as her face was flushed a cute pink hue.
I sat on the stool and looked up at her. She did not look away.
Someone came by and said something, I didn't catch it. I asked Chole to marry me tonight, and she said yes!
Time skip!
Three weeks later Chole and I were all busy with our wedding plans. Everyone had to try to butt in with his or her opinion.
Chole told them off. "Look we appreciate your offer, but we have got this. It is our wedding," Chole said.
I was so proud of her.
Time skip!
Four months later, Chole and I were married! It was only us, the preacher, and a few close friends. We had chosen to get eloped after all the drama from her family. We did not regret it a bit.
Now, as we stand hand in hand on the balcony of a hotel and look out at the vast display of mountains I know that I made the right decision. I chose the right girl.
I knew then, we were in this together for the long run, me and my Chole.
The end...
bye-bye,
little owlets!
Summer out!
