"Hi, sis, I am home!" Mirelle says. She gets no answer.

        She sees a note on the kitchen table that says as follows:

       Dear sister,

     Peter and I went out for supper after we got done with the science project.  I hope you and Phillip enjoy your meal too.  

   I will be back around 9 pm, do not wait up for me.

    See you later, sis!

     Mirelle's glad her sister left the note so she knows she is safe. She goes to her room. It is pink and yellow.  It has pink walls, a yellow clock, yellow bedsheets and covers on the twin bed, and a few pieces of pink furniture in it.  There are a few pieces of yellow furniture in it too.

    Mirelle gets ready for bed and soon falls fast asleep. She does not notice when Kagami gets back at nine o'clock as she said she would.

     Kagami is quiet so as not wake up her sister. 

     The next day in class,  "Students I hope your project is done because today is Wednesday and they are due on Friday."  Miss Bustier says.   She teaches the lessons.

       Time skip to after school brought to you by the author...

      "Hi, Mirelle, bestie, are you still available for a girls night out Friday night?"  Aurore ask.

       "Yes, sure thing,"  Mirelle says.

        "Ok, well bye!"  Aurore says.

        "Sis, you coming?" Kagami asks.

      "Sure, I will be right there," Mirelle replies.

     "Thanks for helping me with the science project,"  Phillip says.

     "You are welcome, and besides what kind of science partner would I be if I did not do any of the work?"  Mirelle remarks.

    "Could you come over to review for the test with me?"  Phillip asks.

       "Sure, how about we study for the test at my place?"  Mirelle asks.

    "Ok, what time?" Phillip asks.

     "How is four o'clock?"  Mirelle asks.

     "Ok, s-see you at f-four o'clock, bye, M-Mirelle," Philipp says.  He blushes as he leaves.

    "Bye, Philipp!'" Mirelle says, she waves to him

    "Sis, what did you invite Philipp over for this time?"  Kagami asks.

  "To study for the science test," Mirelle says.

        Later that day,  "What time is your boyfriend coming over again?"  Kagami asks.

    "He will be here at 4 pm and he is not my boyfriend," Mirelle says.

    "Why not?  You like him and you two have spent a lot of time together lately,"  Kagami points out.

     "Yes, but only as people who do science homework together, like the science project, and study for tests that is all.  We are friends because he does not even know I like him," Mirelle says.

     "Then, why did you eat supper with him last night?"  Kagami asks.

     "He gave me an invitation to the meal and I did not want to be rude.  Besides, I think you miss the point here," Mirelle says.

    Phillip leaves the house he shares with his mother early and arrives at Mirelle's right at 3:45 pm.  He knocks at the door and rings the doorbell.

     Kagami answers the door, "Hi, Phillip!  You are early, Mirelle says you would be here at four," she says.

    "Well, do come inside," Kagami says.

    "You sure she will not mind?"  Philipp asks. He goes inside and enters the kitchen.

   "Hi, Phillip, you got here a bit early," Mirelle says. She blushes a bit too.

    "Yes, sorry for it," Philipp remarks.

   "It is ok, I do not mind," Mirelle says.

    "Why is your sister a grade ahead of us?  Is she older or something?" Phillip asks.

   "No, she is the same age as me.  We are twins, but she is the smarter one," Mirelle says.

"Oh, that explains a lot,"  Phillipp says.

       Mirelle and Philipp study for the test.  It takes them two hours to finish the review since there is a lot of material in the chapters it covers for them to look over together.

     Later, after they finish, "Thanks for helping me study for the test, M-Mirelle,"  Philipp says.

   "Sure, anything for my friend," Mirelle answers as she winks at him.

 "Are you s-sure you do not have  a b-boyfriend?"  Philipp asks.

 "Yes, I am sure. Why do you ask?" Mirelle answers with  a blush across her face.

  "What?  You do not have a boyfriend?" Phlipp asks rather surprised.

   "No, not yet anyway," Mirelle answers.

   "How is a g-girl like you still unattached?"  Phlipp asks. He can not believe his crush is not seeing anyone.

   "Well, no one has asked me out yet," Mirelle replies.

   "Wh-why not?  You are nice, smart, and pretty," Phlipp says. 

  "Y-you think I am p-pretty?" Mirelle asks.

"Y-Yes," Phlipp says.

"Thanks, Phlipp," Mirelle replies.

   Philipp thinks, great this is so awkward.  He wishes she would say something.

   "What kind of creatures legs can form into something else when one is cut off?" Mirelle asks.

"A starfish," Phlipp says.

"Wow, that is correct," Mirelle says.

"The science teachers says my grades are better lately," Philipp says.

"Ok, that is good," Mirelle says.

"M-Mirelle, I will s-see you t-tomorrow," Phlipp says. He leaves.

    Mirelle watches him go and blushes.  She can not believe he called her pretty!
