After the conversation she had with Tikki, she definitely felt better. It was the one thing about the whole situation on being reborn as another person. She didn't feel like she deserved a better life after being as selfish as she was.

She had cried and Tikki had stayed by her side the whole time even when she had passed out from exhaustion, when she woke up hours later. She was there sleeping next to her on a small cushion.

Tikki was right when she had called her out for only talking to her a few times since she had become Ladybug. Marinette was trying her hardest to avoid any interaction with the Kwami and now that she actually thought about it, it was stupid that she had even attempted that.

She was stuck with Tikki just as Tikki was stuck with her.

Checking the time, she noted that it was the late afternoon. Marinette stood from bed and dressed herself in spandex leggings and replaced her bra with a sports bra and tugged on a loose fitting shirt. Mari snatched her duffel bag up, she stuffed a clean set of clothes and a few other necessities for where she was headed. She glanced over at Tikki, who was now awake and rubbed at her eyes.

"Where are you going, Marinette?" Tikki yawned and floated over and blinked sleepily at her.

"Dance studio," she replied shortly, "if there's anything that helps me when I'm frustrated, it's dancing."

Alix strolled on her skates around the main streets of Paris. She enjoyed the warm weather and cool breeze as she passed others.

Imagine her surprise when she sees a familiar friend of hers jogging on the opposite sidewalk, she had earbuds in her ear and carried a duffel bag on one of her shoulders. The weirdest thing was not her apparel (which screamed health-nut) but was seeing her hair out of it's usual low bun and instead in a high ponytail and swishing back forth with every step.

She skidded to a stop, curious as to where Marinette was headed and looked both ways before she crossed the road quickly. Marinette's music seemed to be loud enough for her not to hear her skates following after her. Which, now that she thought about it, was rather dangerous.

This continued for a while and despite the long distance Marinette seemed to be traveling, her pace never sped up or slowed down, only steady. Alix didn't peg her to be the sporty or exercising type at all, maybe more of a crafty type but not this. She was impressed, though.

Alix quickly skidded around a corner, pressed herself against the wall and breathed heavily to catch her breath. Marinette has stopped, tilted her head back and panted, and entered a building.

She took a glance at the the building's name before her eyebrows raised and jaw dropped. A dance studio? Marinette? A dancer? This was news to her. She waited a few moments and then quickly switched her skates to her sneakers, stuffing her skates into their bag and sped walked to the doors of the studio.

Pushing the doors open, she entered as was greeted by a cheery receptionist.

"Welcome! Are you a new register?"

Alix shook her head, wiping the sweat from her forehead and made up a story, "I'm looking for my friend, Marinette, I think this is the correct studio she told me about. I called her out on not being a dancer and she's supposed to prove me wrong."

The woman perks up, smiling brightly as she lets out a laugh, "Well be ready to be amazed! Marinette is one of our best dancers and has been taking classes since she was young. You're right on time, she just came in as well. Go down the hall, the studio she usually uses is on the left, room seven."

"Thanks," she grinned and headed towards the hall. Once out of sight she let the disbelief settle on her face as she looked for the door number. "She never once mentioned this to us, what the hell?" There was loud music coming from the rooms, likely to block out any other music from filtering through. Finally arriving to the correct room, she glanced at the number, "Lucky number seven, huh?" she murmured before cracked the door open slightly to peak in.

The music that had been muffled before became clearer, and she realized it was in a language she hadn't heard before and there in the middle of the room was Marinette. Her duffel bag was set on a chair on the side of room next to the speakers that her phone was connected to.

She was immersed with the song, and Alix could tell that she really put her all into this. The receptionist's words rung in her head, 'Marinette's one of our best dancers'. She wasn't lying. It was different for sure, rather than the usual choice of ballet (which didn't suit Mari anyway), this type of dance was definitely her style.

Since it was only a few minutes since she began, the song was only so far into it. Even so, Alix's jaw dropped at Marinette's dancing. It was fluid and sharp, hitting the beats she needed to and seemed solely focused on her reflection in the mirror as she mouthed along with the words.

Alix leaned a little further to have a better look only to lose her balance and nearly trip into the room, barely catching herself by grabbing onto the door frame and leaning on the door handle. Marinette stopped dancing and whipped around to look at here with wide eyes.

"Alix?" she called,  turning the volume down on the speakers and returned her curious gaze to her.

She coughed, entered the room and closed the door behind her. "Sorry, I followed you."

Marinette scoffed. She crossed her arms and jutted her chin out, "Why, exactly, did you do that?"

"Can't blame me for bein' curious," she shrugged, "saw you joggin' and I've never in my time of knowin' ya have I seen you do anything healthy." She paused, "You never mentioned you dance."

"Nice, fixing your accent at the end," Mari rolled her eyes when she shrugged again, "it was never important enough to bring up."

It was silent for a moment, before Alix spoke up again, "Can I watch? What you were doing before looked really cool, and the music sounds pretty dope."

Marinette's eyes lit up with an excitement she had never seen before, "That's funny, seeing as the song title is Dope."

"No shit," she cackles, "So can I? Maybe you can teach me something while I'm here."

The sparkle stayed in Mari's eyes, and Alix found that she liked seeing this in the other. She always seemed so bored, it was nice to see there was something that excited her.

"I'd like that."

(And if anyone ever decided to question if Marinette could dance, Alix would pull out her phone and show them videos she took of the girl going hard on a song called Not Today.)
