Alec: Welcome back to everyone's #1 live game show: The Challenge! Let's give it up for our awesome contestant, Nino!

Nino walks towards the stage and stands next to Alec.

Alec: So Nino, you're a student and a DJ. That's pretty awesome! Check out the decks we got for you!

(Y/n) was in her dorm watching the game show on her laptop live. Nino invited her and the others to join, but she couldn't make it. From all the absences she's been receiving. She had to do extra homework as her punishment. (Y/n) sighs in disappointment, wishing she could go there and support her friend. "I guess, this is what I get for skipping school to go save the world." (Y/n) groans. Bitz flew close to her. "Can't blame them, you can just tell them to excuse yourself to go be Chiroptera and save the world." (Y/n) shook her head. If only that were easy."

(Y/n) was grateful that she didn't have to be in school to finish her work. She can do her homework and watch Nino in her dorm.

Alec: So, the challenge the viewers have chosen for you is... To get the mayor of Paris, André Bourgeois, to dance! Thank you for agreeing to play with us today, sir. What are Nino's chances tonight?

André: Zero. I despise dancing. The last time I set foot on a dance floor, Madonna was in kindergarten.

Bitz sat on top of (Y/n)'s head. "Nino's got this in the bag." (Y/n) nodded in agreement. "You said it, buddy."

As (Y/n) was doing her homework and watching the show, she received a group chat from Marinette and Alya. Bitz quickly hid when (Y/n) answered the call. Turns out her best friends couldn't make it either since Alya was babysitting and Marinette got grounded. Then, (Y/n) explained her situation to them.

Marinette: Seriously? How can you say that, Alya?

(Y/n): Yeah, I thought you'd agreed with us.

Alya: Sorry, but I kinda get your dad, Marinette. You're never where you say you'll be. Showing up late, splitting mysteriously and all. Same with you, (Y/n). You may get to class on time, but there are other times you'd disappear. I'd almost suspect you both were leading...a double life.

Both (Y/n) and Marinette were pretty shocked but quickly hid it.

Marinette: Gimme a break! You're being ridiculous.

(Y/n): Alya, you and your crazy theories. Save that stuff for your blog, please.

(Y/n) paid attention back to the show to see if Nino won yet. She won't lie, Nino was playing pretty cool music. It even has her nodding her head to the beat. Not to her surprise, Mayr Bourgeois was moving his head to the beat. This means that Nino won the challenge!

Alec: Victory! Challenge conquered by Nino. You moved your head to the beat, Mayor Bourgeois! That counts as dancing!

André: What?! That's not true! My neck was... itching, that's all.

Alec: Relieving an itch to the beat counts as dancing, too! Nino, congratulations. You'll return in one week to meet your next challenge! And now, for our next contestant, welcome Simon Grimault!

"Nino won the challenge, (Y/n)!" Bitz silently exclaims. "Awesome!" (Y/n) silently cheered. She and Bitz continued to watch the show. Even, (Y/n) tried to pay attention to her friends on the chat too.

Alec: Mr. Grimault, you are a hypnotist. You use cards to hypnotize people to get what you want from them!

Simon walks onto the stage next to Alec.

Simon: Well, yes, I'm a hypnotist. But, uh, I don't use my skills to get anything.

Alec: So, your challenge today, Simon, is to use your talents to bring a very elusive celebrity to this very TV set! Give it up for the king of fashion, Gabriel Agreste!

Gabriel: What is this show? I was told this was an interview.

"Woah! Adrien's dad!" (Y/n) quietly exclaims. "That guy is pretty intimidating," Bitz admitted while (Y/n) nodded in agreement.

Alec: Do your thing, Grimault, let's see if you can bring Mr. Agreste here with your hypnotic persuasion!

Simon: I told you, I don't make people-

Alec: Ha! A shy hypnotist! How funny is that, Gabriel?

Gabriel: Hilarious. Your show is pathetic. And so is your contestant. Control me? Never.

Gabriel turns down the show, leaving his screen blank. "Dang, not even giving that guy a chance." (Y/n) felt bad for Simon. Bitz sadly nodded.

Alec: Looks like Mr. Agreste has turned on your challenge. Game over!

Simon: But... that's not fair! I didn't even get time to...

Not even given a chance, Simon was escorted out. (Y/n) and Bitz can't help but feel bad for the poor man. (Y/n) turns her attention back to her friends as they were continuing their chat. They all hoped that they can see Nino perform next week. Bitz continued to watch the show quietly. He gasped in horror when Simon comes in as an Akumatized supervillain, Simon Says. He was using his cards to control everyone around him. "(Y/n), look!" Bitz pointed at the laptop. (Y/n) gasped at the new villain Hawkmoth has acquired.

Marinette: I gotta go, Alya!

(Y/n): Same here! Something came up!

Alya: Have a good one! I'll get back to my babysitting.

Once the call ended. (Y/n) turned her full attention back to the show. "This is not good. On the plus side, at least I'm here and not at school taking in my punishment." (Y/n) thought of the bride side. "Yeah, it would be easier to transform instead of hiding," Bitz added. (Y/n) nodded. "Bitz, fly in the night!"

(Y/n) begins to transform as Bitz enters her choker. It reveals a glowing bat with five pieces on it. (Y/n) crosses her hands over her face as she claps her hands together as her light purple suit morphs around her. She places her hands on her head as bat ears appear and putting her (h/c) hair in a high bun with two strip of hair in the front. A light purple, tessen fan that is similar to a bats wing appears in her hand as she slashes the air and poses with the tessen in front with her as her other hand was crossed over her stomach.

Chiroptera leaps out from the window of her dorm room. She leaps from building to building until she got to the TV. Studio. She noticed Ladybug from another building. They nodded at each other and ran together to the TV. Studio. Once they made it, they kicked the door with their weapons ready. Only to find that there is no one in the room. 

"Ladybug! Chiroptera!" Nino called out from his hiding spot. They ran towards him. "You okay?" Chiroptera checked to see if Nino had any injuries. "I'm fine, but my boy Adrien's still here somewhere!" Nino told. "Don't worry, we'll find him." Ladybug placed a hand on his shoulder. The three of them went out to see if there was any sign of Adrien. They heard someone fighting. Turns out it was Cat Noir defeating Adrien's bodyguard who was hypnotized. He does a backflip and picks up his staff. He aims for his staff to defend himself but he sees his partners and Nino. "Thanks for the greeting, CN." Chiroptera joked. "Oh, sorry. I thought you were Simon Says." Cat Noir pulls his staff away from them. "I saw him! He's got a whole army together!" Nino exclaims. "He's looking for Gabriel Agreste. We better get to him faster than they can!" Cat Noir explains. Suddenly his miraculous beeps. "Cat Noir, you're about to change back. Chiroptera and I will take one last look around for Nino's friend." Ladybug told. "Uh... Forget it. He's probably hypnotized." Cat Noir theorized. "But he's my buddy!" Nino was worried for his best friend. "Uh... you're right. Maybe he's hiding. I'll leave you to look for him. Let's meet up at Gabriel Agreste's place later on." With that, Cat Noir leaves before he can transform back. Once he left, they all looked at each other and the two heroines shrugged at each other. The three of them ran to a new section of the building to try to find Adrien. Suddenly, they see Adrien running towards them. "Nino!" Adrien exclaims happily. "Adrien! Dude, you okay?" Nino hugged his best friend. 

"I'm fine," Adrien reassures. He stopped in his tracks when he noticed Ladybug. "...Hello?" He greets her. "Uh... Hello! You sure you're okay?" Ladybug asked with concern. Seeing them like this, Chiroptera can't help but find this sweet, in a weird sort of way. As if she can see some connection, but she can't put her finger on it. "I'm fine, really. But we've got to get to my house now! My father's in danger!" Adrien suddenly remembered what Simon says is after. "Then, let's head to your place. Cat Noir will meet with us there." Chiroptera stepped in. 

Everyone made it to Adrien's mansion. They quickly ran inside to see if his dad was okay. Luckily, they were greeted by Gabriel and Nathalie. "Nathalie, where's my father? He's in danger!" Adrien was worried. "He knows already," Nathalie told. "Good evening, Ladybug and Chiroptera." Gabriel greeted from the top of the stairs. "Father, you've gotta get outta here. The hypnotist Simon Says is coming after you!" Adrien exclaims. "What? And be dictated by a madman? Certainly not." Gabriel said stubbornly. "But father, he's dangerous! Who knows what he'll do?" Adrien tried to convince him. 

"Head up to your room now. You've had enough excitement for today. Nathalie, make sure they stay there." Gabriel ordered. He then makes his way toward Ladybug and Chiroptera. "I have to apologize for my son, Ladybug and Chiroptera. He's like his mother. Way too overly dramatic."

Chiroptera raised an eyebrow and placed a hand on her hip. "You know that he's right about this situation. Simon Says is dangerous and you're in real danger!" 

"What could possibly happen with you both here to protect me?" Gabriel placed his hand on Chiroptera's shoulder. She can't describe but something about this guy was off. And it was not that he was probably part robot or something. 

The heroines followed Gabriel into his office. There were some pictures of Adrien modeling as the two girls were viewing them. "Isn't he flawless?" Gabriel asked. "Huh? What? Flaw-what?" ladybug was pulled out from her daydreaming. "Adrien, my son. He's the image of perfection, don't you think?" Gabriel brags about his son. "I won't lie, sir. Your son's got skills." Chiroptera crossed her arms. "Oh, yes, he's perfect. I mean, um, I don't know him very well, but he seems..." Ladybug blabbed on. "I've never noticed your earrings and choker before. They really are quite unique. May I?" Gabriel reaches toward Ladybug's ears. Before he could examine them, her yo-yo rings. "Excuse us." Ladybug said as she and Chiroptera stepped to the side. "Cat Noir, where were you?"

Cat Noir: I, I was... keeping Simon Says at bay!

"So how you holding up, CN?" Chiroptera asked. 

Cat Noir: I couldn't keep him away. He's coming. He's got company. 

He hangs up. Ladybug and Chiroptera were confused. Suddenly their feline partner came in from a window and quickly closed it. "Close off all exits! They're coming from another direction! Do as I say! Engage the self-defense system, we need total lockdown!" Gabriel does what he says and activates the defense system. "How do you know so much about the system?" Gabriel questions. "Uh... In a house like this... it's a given!" Cat Noir explains. "Cat Noir isn't wrong with houses like these having crazy defense systems." Chiroptera placed her hand on her chin. "They won't get in. This house is built like a fortress." Gabriel told everyone. Suddenly, the lights go off. "Really? The light too?" Chiroptera crossed her arms. Then, the lights came on. "There are too many of them. Your defense system is failing!" Cat Noir exclaims. "We better get Adrien and Nino out of here!" Chiroptera told as Ladybug nodded in agreement. "Here, Nathalie. Pick the controls in case you need to unlock an exit. She's coming with you." Gabriel instructed as he opens a panel where the controls were. Nathalie lead the girls to Nino and Adrien. "I'll reinforce the outer defenses. Go hide in the atrium. It's not safe in here." Cat Noir ordered. "No one tells me what to do. Not even a super." Gabriel talked back. "You're in danger, like everyone else. So stop pretending you're above us all and do what I tell you to!" Cat Noir yells as he grabs the other control. This shocked them both. "Quite a temper. You remind me of someone." Gabriel said. Cat Noir didn't say anything else. Once he left, Gabriel looks back at the picture of his wife. 

Nathalie leads the heroines to Adrien's room. "Woah, this guy's got a cool room." Chiroptera comments. Nino pulls down his headphones. "Ladybug! Chiroptera! What's going down?" Ladybug walked towards him. "We need to move to safer ground. Where is Adrien?" 

"Taking a shower." Nino points to the bathroom. "Really? At a time like this?" Chiroptera placed a hand on her hip. "It's the model in him," Nino said. Ladybug knocks on the door. She turns back towards everyone. "Take Nino to the atrium. Chiroptera and I take care of Adrien. Leave the remote control with me." Nathalie does what she says and leaves with Nino. Ladybug knocks again. "Adrien? Adrien!" She opens the door to see Adrien's head popping out. She shrieked in shock. "Yeah?" Adrien asked. "Oh! Must... it-eh, to go! He he. Too dangerous... to leave!" Ladybug stutters. "Can I put on my clothes first?" Adrien asks with a shy smile. "Sure! If you must... I-I mean, of course, you can." Ladybug stutters again. Chiroptera groans in annoyance. She bonks Ladybug and pulled her away. "Please hurry, Adrien!" Chiroptera shuts the door.  

Ladybug rubs her head and turns to see Chiroptera with an unamused look. "You usually see me do that to CN, but I guess today's your lucky day, LB." Ladybug hates to admit but she did kind of deserve to be bonked in the head by Chiroptera. Then, they both spotted a picture of Adrien's mother on his computer. The girls admire the picture. Finally, Adrien comes out of the bathroom with a towel around his neck. "My mother on her 17th birthday." He explains. "She was pretty." Chiroptera smiled warmly. "She's... got your eyes." Ladybug and Adrien said in union. Suddenly, the hypnotized people were able to get through Adrien's room. Ladybug and Chiroptera quickly pushed Adrien back into the bathroom. "Stay here!" Then they closed the door. The two heroines quickly pushed and dodged the hypnotized people. They were able to escape the room and head to Gabriel's office, only to find it trashed. Cat Noir leaps in to find his partners. "Well, that's just great." He comments. They knew exactly where Simon Says has taken Gabriel. They just hope they make it on time. 

Simon Says: Welcome to another exciting hour of "The Challenge"! Good evening again from Simon Says. Viewers, I've kept my promise. Here's Gabriel!

Simon Says now hosts the show for now. The hypnotized Gorilla pushes Gabriel onto the stage with him. 

Simon Says: Simon says... you are a butterfly!

Simon Says throws a butterfly card at Gabriel. Now that he was hypnotized, Gabriel began to flap his arm and jump around. 

Gabriel: Flap flap, flutter flutter, flutter flutter, flap flap!

The trio made it to the TV Studio and saw from the screen that Simon Says has already hypnotized Gabriel. "Woah, I'd never image that guy acting like that," Chiroptera said dumbfounded. "We've gotta save Mr. Agreste!" Ladybug exclaims. 

Simon Says: Tomorrow, Butterfly, you will be no more.

"The Akuma's gotta be in one of those cards," Ladybug told. "But how are we going to find the right one? He's got a lot of them." Chiroptera explains. Ladybug steps back and runs to kick the door open. The hero's run in to stop Simon Says. "Ladybug, Cat Noir, Chiroptera, you can save him by giving me your Miraculouses. Do the right thing..." Simon Says has his cards ready. 

"In your dreams. Lucky Charm!" Ladybug summons her power and then a yo-yo appears. "A regular yo-yo? But you've got a magical one!" Cat Noir questions. "I'll figure it out later," Ladybug told. 

"Simon says... your yo-yo is useless!" Simon Says throws a card at the yo-yo and it falls to the floor. The string even snaps. Cat Noir and Chiroptera run towards Simon Says. "Simon says... your stick and tessen are..." Before he could finish, Chiroptera and Cat Noir knock his cards off his hand. 

"Useless? I don't think so. I'm not gonna let you get a word in edgewise!" Cat Noir says and he and Chiroptera continued to fight the villain. Ladybug goes to the floor and rips the cards, but there was no Akuma in them. "Simon says..." He was cut off by Cat Noir and Chiroptera taunting them. "Na-na-na-na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na-na-na."

"It doesn't matter whether you can hear me or not, all that is important is what Simon says!" Simon Says exclaims. "Then I'll just have to see if you have an angle to defeat you!" Chiroptera smirks. "Echo!" Chiroptera summons her power. She throws the glowing orb and saw wave signals only she could see. She can see Simon Says throwing cards them at, but they weren't regular cards to make their weapons to be useless. "Simon says, remove your Miraculous and give it to me!" Simon Says throws his cards. "Watch out!" Chiroptera warns. She avoids the cards. She turns to see her friends about to be hit by the cards, so she pushes them away from danger. When she got up, she noticed that she accidentally pushed Cat Noir on top of Ladybug. Cat Noir smiles shyly as Ladybug looks annoyed. Chiroptera rolls her eyes. She bonks Cat Noir on the head and helps her friends up. "Well, what do you know? I bonked two people in one day."

Simon Says noticed Gabriel and he got an idea. "Simon says... take off like an airplane!" He throws a card at Gabriel. Now, Adrien's father began to act like an airplane and runs out of the room.  "He's headed for the roof. We got to stop him." Cat Noir was about to go after him, but Chiroptera stops him. "Hold on, Cat Noir. We need to stop Simon Says so everyone can be free like him." She explains. Ladybug nods in agreement. "Chiroptera is right. Cat Noir was hesitant, but he agrees. "Then let's not waste another minute."

"And how will you defeat me without your yo-yo?" Simon Says taunts. "Simon says... it's over!" He throws his black cards at them, but they were hit by Cat Noir and Chiroptera's weapons. "Follow my lead." Ladybug instructed. "Simon says..." Simon Says was cut off when Ladybug knocks the deck of cards from him using the regular yo-yo. Chiroptera uses her tessen fan to make sure that Simon Says doesn't reach them. Then the girls help Cat Noir up. "Cataclysm!" He summons his power and destroys the cards. Now the Akuma flies out. "That's not possible! I made your yo-yo useless!" Simon Says was shocked. 

"This one yes, but not that one." She shows off the regular yo-yo. "Miraculous Ladybug!" She throws up her Lucky Charm and frees everyone from Simon Says powers. This even helped Ladybug's yo-yo get fixed."My yo-yo! No more evildoing for you, little Akuma." She opens her yo-yo Time to de-evilize!" She catches the Akuma with her yo-yo. "Gotcha!" She then realized the purified butterfly. "Bye-bye, little butterfly."

Simon Says is turned back into Simon. He looks around confused. "Pound it!" The trio fist-bumped. They quickly ran towards the roof where Gabriel was. They saw that he carefully backs away from the edge. "I'm afraid your flight's been canceled, sir." Cat Noir jokes. "You?" Gabriel was confused. "Prefer Ladybug or Chiroptera? Can't say I blame you." He puts his arms around the girls' shoulders. Suddenly, his ring beeps. "CN, you're about to transform! You better get out of here!" Chiroptera exclaims. "Like a cat on a hot tin roof. See you again soon, Mr. Agreste." He shakes hands with Gabriel, who looks at Cat Noir's ring. "And you, m'lady and batty." He bows to Ladybug and Chiroptera then he runs off. Chiroptera playfully shakes her head and wraps an arm around Ladybug. Ladybug smiles and wraps an arm back. 

A week has passed since the Simon Says event. (Y/n) was able to get her attendants on track and she was free from her homework punishment. Now, she was watching 'The Challenge' since Nino passed last week. Bitz was sitting on her head as they were enjoying the show. "Don't you want to go to the TV Studio, (Y/n)?" Bitz asked. (Y/n) smiled up at her Kwami. "yeah, but I'd figure I'd watch it with you, buddy." Bitz smiled back and they continued to watch the show

Alec: Welcome back to everyone's #1 game show, The Challenge! Last week, our cool DJ friend Nino won the challenge. So, let's welcome him back again. Come on out, DJ Nino!

They saw Nino walking up to the stage.

Alec: So we upped the challenge for you tonight, Nino. You're gonna have to get three celebrities dancing instead of one! However, this time, you can choose your opponents.

Nino: Oh, I've got this one in the bag. I'm gonna pick three buds I know won't let me down. Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Chiroptera!

(Y/n) and Bitz blinked confusedly at the screen. (Y/n) lets out a giggle. "Looks like we have to help Nino out on this one." Bitz giggles too. "Yeah, you can't let your friend down after all." (Y/n) quickly transformed into Chiroptera and leaped out of her room. She leaps from building to building. She gasped happily when she saw Ladybug was out too. "Hey, LB!" Chiroptera shouts and waves. Ladybug waves back and the both of them make their way to accept Nino's challenge at the TV Studio.
