It was another day in Paris. Right now, (Y/n) was in the school library playing Ultimate Mechanics Strike III against Max. She was using a bat robot as she tries to use different moves to win the final round. They both have a little life left, and Max defeated her using the ultimate move. Everyone cheered for Max's victory.

"Dang it! I was this close to beating you, Max." (Y/n) playfully glared at him. Max held out his hand. "You were truly a great opponent, (Y/n)." She smiled and shook his hand. "Likewise." 

(Y/n) got up and gave Adrien the joypad. She sat next to Nathaniel as he wrapped his arm around her. "You did great out there." He said. "Thanks, I tried my best." She kissed him on the cheek. Everyone watched the next round between Max and Adrien. Suddenly, Marinette finally arrives and was looking around to see what was happening. She quietly goes over to Alya and (Y/n). "What's going on, Alya, (Y/n)?" Marinette asked, but Alya shushes her. Rose pops out next to Marinette. "Try-outs for the Paris Ultimate Mecha Strike III Tournament! This school sends the two students with the highest scores!"

"Actually, the tryouts offer a partner to team up with Max in the Tournament." Kim corrects. 

"Why Max?" Marinette questioned. 

"'Cause he's unbeatable! He's a total rocksord! He's got the highest APM over anyone!" 

"APM?" 

"Actions per minute? This tournament is his whole life! He's been grinding all year to level up."

Everyone continued to watch Adrien's robot and was able to use a special attack on Max's robot. Adrien was able to win against Max with his attacks. "Adrien is now in the lead." Ms. Bustier announced. Everyone cheers for Adrien. Max was a little disappointed at first, but he shared a smile with Adrien. "Awesome job. We're gonna make a killer combo." Max gives Adrien a high five. "So let me get this straight. If someone manages to beat Max's score, they'll team up with Adrien at the tournament?" Marinette asked. "No one can beat Max. Or rather Max and Adrien. It's a slam dunk. They're our school's dream team!" Kim answered proudly. Hearing her, (Y/n) got up from her seat as she and Alya drag Marinette to a bookshelf. "We see where you're going with this, Little lady." Alya pointed. "Just imagine, teaming with Adrien!" Marinette gushed. "Mari, this isn't some project assignment. It's about representing the school. Which means no snuggling or lovey-dovey ideas. This is serious!" (Y/n) explains as she crossed her arm. "Seriously guys, you think I'd actually go through with that?" Marinette questioned, but her best friends weren't falling for it. 

"Well, I think we have our two champions lined up for the Paris tournament." Mr. Damocles announced. "Wait! Uh, Is it too late... to try out?" Marinette raised her hand. Most of the students gasped at her request. "Well, the library is closing up in five minutes, but..." Mr. Damocles agreed to the request. Marinette was determined while her best friends tried to stop her. She took a seat and Adrien gave her his joypad. "Adrien's joypad! Ohhh...!" She rubs it on her face but quickly stops. 

"Is she serious? There's no way!" Kim exclaims. "Unless the particular player has a particular motivation," Alya told. "The rules are elementary, You battle each other's robots with your own and..." Max was interrupted by Marinette. "Please... Every time you win, you loot its items and gain XP, which upgrades your mech. I'm not a noob, thank you very much." She then remembers some flashbacks of beating her father in the video game. "She not wrong, she can be a real monster." (Y/n) smiled as she sat next to Nathaniel. Marinette chose a ladybug robot while Max chose the same robot he used in his previous fight. Everyone was cheering as they watched the fight. They could see Marinette was beating Max. "And now, a quarter super plus heavy kick, and Flying Hyper Storm! Triple head combo, Marinette style! Booyah!" Marinette used the final combo and she won the game. "Woo! Yeah! Woo hoo! I win! Uh-huh!" Marinette cheered for herself. 

"Wha! I can't believe it! She... she beat him?" Kim was in shock. "Beat him? She pulverized him!" Alya was surprised. "The king's been knocked off his throne!" Rose exclaims. "Awesome job, Mari!" (Y/n) cheered. Everyone cheered as Marinette won the game against Max. "I accept this defeat. I relinquish my position at the tournament. Congratulations, Marinette. And Adrien." Max stood up. Everyone was calling out to him. "Look. I'm fine, I lost fair and square. But if you don't mind, I'd like a little solitude." He walks out of the library. "So, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste will represent Françoise Dupont High School at the Paris Ultimate Mecha Strike III Tournament. Good luck to both of you." Mr. Damocle announced. "Well, I guess I'll be coming over to practice. With my new partner. See you later." Adrien said to Marinette as he left. "See... ya..." Marinette waved. Alya and (Y/n) walked up to her. "Mari, you do realize that you gotta win and represent the school, not just hang with your crush, right?" (Y/n) raised a brow. "Oh, Adrien..." Marinette was still lovestruck. "Oh, brother... " Alya and (Y/n) facepalmed. 

After the sign-ups were over, (Y/n) decided to use the rest of her day to hang out with Nathaniel. They decided to take a walk together as they wanted to find a relaxing stop to work on their own personal projects. They decided to go to the park. They found the perfect stop under a shady tree. (Y/n) unpacked some fruit as they decided to pull out their own notebooks. Nathaniel was sketching a picture of (Y/n) while she was writing a small song for him. 

"What do you think, (Y/n)?" Nathaniel showed (Y/n) the sketch. It was a sketch of her with her favorite flowers surrounding her. (Y/n) blushed and had a smile on her face. "I'm always surprised that you get my good sides." She joked. "Of course I do. You inspire most of my artwork." Nathaniel admits as he blushes now. Now it was (Y/n)'s turn to show her work. "I'm not too sure I did well on my song, but I tried." She gives Nathaniel her sheet. It was a small love song, but Nathaniel knew it was very sweet. "I think it's wonderful. Maybe one of these days, I can hear you sing your work." Nathaniel smiled. (Y/n) lets out a nervous chuckle. "Maybe, only if I get over my stage fright." Nathaniel takes her hand. "Take your time, I know hearing how you wish will be beautiful and worth it." 

(Y/n) turns away to hide the blush and smile she had on her face. Nathaniel lightly laughs at her reaction. He placed his hand on her cheek so she can see him. Without them knowing, they were slowly moving closer to each other. Their faces were inches from each other. Suddenly, they heard people screaming and running away. They saw a large robot being controlled by a new supervillain, Gamer. 

Nathaniel quickly grabs (Y/n)'s hand and quickly ran. As were running, they witnessed that many citizens were being blasted and absorbed into the robot. Nathaniel noticed that the robot was aiming for (Y/n). Without thinking, he pushed her out of the way. "(Y/n)! Watch out!" The robot blasted Nathaniel and he was absorbed in. "Nathaniel!" (Y/n) cried. Seeing no time to mourn, she quickly ran for cover and hide in an alleyway. Bitz flew out of her hair. "I have to save Nathaniel and all those people!" (Y/n) exclaims. "Just say the magic words, (Y/n)!" Bitz encouraged. 

"Bitz, fly in the night!"(Y/n) begins to transform as Bitz enters her choker. It reveals a glowing bat with five pieces on it. (Y/n) crosses her hands over her face as she claps her hands together as her light purple suit morphs around her. She places her hands on her head as bat ears appear and putting her (h/c) hair in a high bun with two strip of hair in the front. A light purple, tessen fan that is similar to a bats wing appears in her hand as she slashes the air and poses with the tessen in front with her as her other hand was crossed over her stomach. 

Chiroptera makes it to the top of the building and ran toward the giant robot. She could see Gamer trying to shoot someone. She gasped when she realized it was Marinette that Gamer was after. She noticed that Cat Noir was there and she quickly rushed to her cat partner's side. Marinette was trying to get away from Gamer, but she trips and falls. The robot was about to blast her. 

"Game over!" Gamer was cut off when Chiroptera throws her tessen fan at the robot. "Games not over yet!" Chiroptera exclaims. "Here come two new challengers!" Cat Noir yells as he and Chiroptera leaped toward Gamer. Before they could attack. Marinette calls out to them. "Chiroptera! Cat Noir! Hey! Over here!" 

"Grab her, CN!" Chiroptera orders. He nods and rescues Marinette. The three of them were able to dodge the robot's laser. They were able to get away from leaping from building to building. They were able to get to safety at the rooftop of the Grand Paris Hotel. "I heard Miss Video Game Champion really took down the final boss." Cat Noir joked. "Well, it doesn't give him extra points to go transforming everyone," Marinette said. Chiroptera nodded in agreement. Before the duo could leave, Marinette calls out to them. "Hey, wait, Cat Noir, Chiroptera! I left my friend Adrien at the park! He might be in danger, we have to go back!" 

"Uh... don't worry. Adrien's not in danger. He'll be fine. You'll be safe here. Just stay put. Don't worry, Cat Noir will take care of everything. I should leap and do a barrel roll!" Cat Noir told as he leaps away. Chiroptera shakes her head. "Sometimes I wonder what am I going to do with that cat." Chiroptera turns to Marinette. "Just stay here and we'll get everything back to normal." Marinette smiled at Chiroptera. "Thank you, Chiroptera." Chiroptera nodded back and leaps after Cat Noir.

Chiroptera was able to catch up to Cat Noir. They were stalking Gamer's robot. They noticed.  that Gamer was heading towards a bus where a few citizens were hiding. They quickly ran towards the bus. "Everyone! Get away! Get as far as you can!" Chiroptera warns them. The citizens saw the robot and did what Chiroptera told them. "Hey, tin can! Over here!" Cat Noir got Gamer's attention. "My calculations indicate that your system's about to crash!" Before Gamer could blast them, Ladybug finally shows up and uses her yo-yo to tie up the robot's legs. "You're the one crashing, robot!" She pulls her yo-yo, making the robot collapse. Chiroptera and Cat Noir ran towards her. "Great to see you show up, LB," Chiroptera smirked. "He's a life-size robot, from Ultimate Mecha Strike!" Cat Noir explains. "I know! And it's nearly at level 3. 4 is the highest level!" Ladybug also exclaims. "Wait, you know that game?" Cat Noir asked. "Duh! Of course!" Ladybug was offended. "See? You and me! It was meant to be." Cat Noir flirts. Having enough of Cat Noir, Chiroptera bonks him in the head. "Everyone in Paris knows that game, Cat Noir! It's popular!" As Cat Noir rubs his head, they finally noticed that Gamer blasts the bus and absorbs it. He evolves into level 3. 

"Uh, guys! I think our problem is getting bigger!" Chiroptera points. "Level 3. Hahahahahaha!" Gamer lets out an evil laugh. "Those Miraculouses are mine!" He then starts to attack the hero trio as they try to get away from him. They quickly leaped to the buildings. "We have to get him out of here before he destroys all of Paris!" ladybug told. Then the three of them noticed a billboard for the Tournament. "The stadium!" They all had the same idea and quickly head toward the stadium.

The hero trio was able to make it to the stadium. They couldn't see Gamer's robot anywhere. 'Where's the tin can at?" Chiroptera raised a brow. Suddenly, Gamer's robot appeared from behind them. The trio throws their weapons at him, but it pounces off. 

"Echo!" Chiroptera summons her power. She throws the glowing orb and saw wave signals only she could see. She could see that the robot was about to smash them and blast them with its lasers. Gamer lets out another evil laugh as he tries to smash at the trio. Chiroptera quickly grabs them and they were able to get away from him and his lasers. "Attack the robot with your Cataclysm Power! It might be enough to shock him!" Ladybug orders. 

"My pleasure. Two can play this game. Cataclysm!" Cat Noir summons his power. He uses his Cataclysm to destroy Gamer's robot. "Nooooo!" Gamer shouts out. "Smackdown, Cat Noir!" The heroines cheered and gave him a double high-five. "Cat Noir Style! Booyah!" Cat Noir was proud of himself. Suddenly a floating red sphere appears in front of them. 

"Wow! Check this out, guys!" Chiroptera smiled. "System crash, Gamer!" Ladybug smirked. Gamer laughs evilly. "Hahahaha! You've forgotten the rules. I saved my last level!" He touches his glasses and a more powerful robot appears. "Respawn!" 

"Oh come on! You kidding me right!" Chiroptera shouts in annoyance. "Aww, not the old spawn point glitch again." Cat Noir whines. "Yeah, but did you two see he pushed that button on his glasses? I bet the Akuma's in there." Ladybug touches the sphere as a robot with ladybug spots, cat ears, and tail, and bat wings and eyes formed. They were standing on their own robot. "Woah! This is awesome!" Chiroptera cheered. "Ha! We've leveled up too!" Ladybug smiled. Suddenly, Cat Noir's Miraculous beeps. "Okay, but I only got a few minutes left." Chiroptera's miraculous beeps too. "I've got a few minutes too." The trio entered their robot's cockpit and took their seats. "I'll man it, you both shoot!"Cat Noir told. "Hey, why do you get to man it?" Chiroptera glared. "What do you say we flip for it?" Cat Noir joked. Once they started to control their robot, Gamer took them to attack them.

"Okay, you guys man it and I'll fire." Cat Noir admits defeat. "Guys, he's coming!" Chiroptera warns. Gamer's robot attacks the trio's robot, but the two heroines quickly man it. 

"We'll let it go to your head!" Ladybug uses a rocket punch. "Booster!" The punch knocks down the head of the Gamer's robot, but he quickly puts it back on. Gamer laughs but stopped when he saw that the heroes' robot do some moves before standing upright. "Round two, Gamer." ladybug said. "Arrrghhh... Gamer Missiles!" Gamer fires missiles from his robot's shoulder. "Forcefield, Chiroptera!" Ladybug told. Chiroptera nods. "No problem, LB! Forcefield activated!" Chiroptera activates the forcefield and it destroys the missiles. "Cat Saber!" Cat Noir uses the robot's tail and it turns into a saber. 

"Gamer-Drill!" Gamer activates a drill on the robot's arm, and charges at the trio's robot. The trio stood their ground, but it cost to lose their forcefield. "This guy took out our forcefield! How are we going to beat him?!" Chiroptera was beginning to feel worried. "We're gonna have to manage without. Lady Bombs!" Ladybug shoots bombs out of the robot's shoulders. "Laser Wall!" Gamer uses a laser wall to protect himself from the bombs. "Chirop Helix!" Chiroptera used the wings of the robot to attack Gamer's robot but it blocks them.  "Bullet!"Chiroptera used the robot's arm to fire at Gamer, but still, no luck. "Ear Thunder!" Cat Noir uses the robot's ear to make thunder appear, but still, Gamer's robot blocks it. 

 "He's anticipating all of our attacks!" Ladybug told. "Ladybug, watch out!" Chiroptera points at. Gamer's robot charges at them, but the heroes' robot counterattacks. 

"Gamer Fire!" Gamer fires a blast of energy and pushes the trio's robot to the energy orb. He then uses his robot to fire an eye beam. "Hahahahaha! Today I shall be victorious!" 

The trio's robot stands up, Cat Noir charges a ball of anger and fires at Gamer's robot. "Catouken!" Then their robot grabs Gamer's robot and slams it to the floor. Before it could attack more, Gamer's robot breaks apart to escape and reforms again. "I am the strongest player in the world! Hahahaha!" Gamer laughed. "How the heck are we supposed to win if we can even catch him?" Chiroptera was getting annoyed. "We have to beat him harder and jam the system! Tatsu-Lady!" Ladybug used the robot to do a spinning kick. "Catouken!" Cat Noir then uses a ball of energy at Gamer's robot. "Gamer Crusher!" Gamer uses his robot to spin at the heroes' robot, but the trio was able to dodge in time. "Shoryutera!" Chiroptera used the robot to do a Shoryuken at the Gamer's robot. "Catouken!" Cat Noir used one more ball of energy and it knocks Gamer's robot down, but quickly got up. The robots continued their fight, one-on-one, but no one was backing down.

"We've gotta get inside his cockpit!" Ladybug exclaims. "Go for it. You're in charge!" Cat Noir encouraged. "Take the controls, Chiroptera. I'll be right back." Ladybug gets out of the cockpit. "Take the control?" Wait, Ladybug! What are you thinking!" Chiroptera yells out. Ladybug got outside. "It's just us two now, Gamer!" 

"What are they..." Gamer was really confused. 

"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug summons her power and a can of spray paint appears. "Huh? Graffiti? Spray paint? Arts and crafts?" She uses her Lucky Vision, and the robot's left arm and eye flash. "Bingo." She quickly runs to Gamer's robot and was able to get to the eye. Once she was there she sprays graffiti on it. "Aghhh! You won't get away with this!" Gamer goes out of the cockpit. Ladybug took this as an opportunity to take his glasses. "Game over, Gamer." Ladybug breaks the glasses and the Akuma flies off.  "Game's over for you too, Akuma. Time to de-evilize!" She uses her yo-yo to catch the Akuma. "Gotcha! Bye-bye, little butterfly." Ladybug released the now purified butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" She throws the Lucky Charm into the air, and everything turns back to normal. Nathaniel was back in the park and he checked himself to see if he was alright. He looks around for (Y/n). Finally, Gamer is turned back into Max "What am I doing here?" He questioned. "Pound it!" The trio fist-bumped. 

After transforming back, (Y/n) runs back to the park to see if Nathaniel is alright. Once she arrived she spotted Nathaniel looking for her. She smiled in relief. "Nathaniel!" She calls out to him. Nathaniel spotted her and runs toward her. Once he reached her, he hugs her tightly and she hugs back. "I'm so glad you're okay," Nathaniel said. "I think I should be saying that." (Y/n) joked. Her smiles slowly faded. "Why did you save me? You could have gotten hurt or worse." She asked him. "Because I care about you and I would do it multiple times." Nathaniel kisses her on the forehead. (Y/n) smiled and kisses him on the cheek. She was a relief to see him safe. 

At the Parc des Princes. The gaming tournament is about to start and everyone was there to cheer for their star players.

Announcer: So remember, the High Score to beat is 24500, so gamers, hit those consoles. Game on!

"You bent over backwards to be in the team and now you wanna pull out?" Alya questioned Marinette. "Why all of a sudden?" (Y/n) was also confused about this sudden change. "It's just that I feel so bad for Max. And well, it just wouldn't be right." Marinette explains as she watched Max. Before she could walk up to him, (Y/n) stops her. "Mari, we're proud that you're doing the right thing, but it's not every day that you could play with Adrien and win the tournament for the school." 

Marinette goes up to Max. "...Max? I've thought about this a lot, and..."  

Announcer: And now, representing Françoise Dupont High School...

"Well, I think you should be playing tonight, Max." Marinette said. "What?" Max was shocked. "Don't get me wrong! I love gaming, but it's not my heart and soul. This is your baby. It's your tournament, Max. I don't wanna take that away from you." Marinette explains. Nino walks up to them. "Dudes, make up your minds. They're waiting for you." 

"I insist!" Marinette gives Max the controller. Max takes it. "I don't know how to thank you." 

"By winning the tournament... with her." Adrien walks over to Marinette and puts his hand on her shoulder. She was shocked as he gives his controller to her. "Go on, Marinette. You're a hundred times better than me. You belong on the team. Win the tournament for the school. I know you can do it." Adrien smiled. Alya facepalms as she groans in annoyance. (Y/n) giggles and pats Alya's shoulder. "Go on, dudes! They're waiting for you!" Nino grabs Marinette and leads her to the entrance. "No, uh, I... only with you?" Marinette didn't know how to process what just happened. "Let's show them who's gold." Max smiled at Marinette. She nods as they entered the gates and their friends cheer them on. In no time, they were able to win the tournament and they were very proud to represent their school
