After everything that has happened with (Y/n) and Marinette, they were glad to have a normal day at school. Today is a special day since Marinette's dad was giving the class a baking lesson. "I'll let you in on a little secret. I always add cream to the chocolate to make the ganache extra velvety. Then I let infuse for one minute." Mr. Dupain-Cheng explains. "I love it when your dad comes to class and gives us pastry lessons!" Alya whispered to Marinette. "Same here." (Y/n)'s mouth watered at the delicious sight. Marinette chuckles about her dad. "So does he!"

"Urgh! Do they seriously think I'm going to get my hands dirty, cooking like some maid? If I want a croissant, I'd just make my butler get it for me." Chloé said in disgust. "He's not making croissants, Chloé. Those are macarons!" Rose corrected her. "It's all done with a flick of the wrist. But you mustn't go too fast or you might splash yourself!" Mr. Dupain-Cheng explains. "And soil my Chenal pants? Who's he kidding?" Chloé turned her head away. "Look at this lovely emulsion." Mr. Dupain-Cheng allowed the students to look at his work as they were in awe. "It's beautiful!" Rose exclaims. "Man, it looks delicious!" (Y/n)'s eyes sparkled. Suddenly, she and Marinette spotted Chloé as she dials someone on her phone. They did not like where this was going. "Now we need to chill it for half an hour. Marinette?" Mr. Dupain-Cheng called out to his daughter. Marinette gasped when her dad calls out to her. "Yes, Dad?" He gives her the bowl. "Could you put this in the school cafeteria fridge for me, please? In the meantime, I'm going to show your friends how to whip up egg whites!" Marinette smiled at her father. "Of course!" She turns to (Y/n). "Could you hold my phone for a bit, (N/n)?" (Y/n) takes it sure. "Sure thing, Mari." 

Once Marinette left, her father began to show the students how to whip up egg whites. Suddenly, the fire alarms go off. Everyone quickly wakes out. "Quietly, students. Single file line, please. Just keep moving." Miss Bustier said. As everyone was walking down the stairs, Mr. Dupain-Cheng walked towards his daughter. "I hope it's only a fire drill." Marinette just groans since she had a feeling who did this. 

Everyone was outside of their classrooms as Mr. Damocles was making an announcement. "So, some smart aleck had the bright idea of calling the fire department." He explained as the students gasped. "Somebody amongst us thought it would be funny to waste the fire captain's valuable time." 

"Yes, in fact, if you wouldn't mind I..." The fire captain was interrupted by Mr. Damocles. "Hold on! I want the guilty party to apologize to you." 

Marinette whispers to Alya and (Y/n). "I'm sure it was Chloé. (Y/n) and I saw her on her phone right before the alarm went off!" 

"You seeing her make a phone call isn't solid proof." Alya said. "But still, it's Chloé we're talking about." (Y/n) lets out a sigh. 

"Mr. Damocles, sir?" Chloé raised her hand. 

"Yes, Miss Bourgeois?" Mr. Damocles allowed her to speak. 

"I saw a student leaving the classroom right before the alarm went off. It must have been her."

"Really? Who was it?" 

"Let's see if she'll come clean. What do you say, Marinette Dupain-Cheng?"

This caused some of the students to gasp in shock. " Marinette, do you have something to tell the firefighter captain?" Mr. Damocles demanded an answer. Adrien quickly raised her hand. "Urgh, wait. Excuse me, sir! It couldn't possibly be Marinette. Why would she disrupt her own father's cooking class?" Alya joins in. "And I know for a fact that Marinette didn't even have her phone on her when she went out of the classroom." (Y/n) showed that she had Marinette's phone. "Besides she asked me to hold it for her. I have it right here." 

"Mr. Damocles, I must be heading out." The fire captain tried to leave, but Mr. Damocles stopped him. "Just one more second. We're very close to discovering the truth." 

"Oh well, we all know it can't be me!" Chloé brags. "I'm not gonna let her get away with this. I've gotta tell..." Marinette was about to confront Chloé, but Adrien put his hand on his shoulder. "Hang on, Marinette. We don't know for sure it was her." Alya agreed. "He's right. Let's not stoop to her level." (Y/n) sighs. "That girl is a piece of work." They saw Chloé snickering. "I really have to leave now. Just call me if you find out who the prankster is." The fire captain tried to leave again but Mr. Damocles stops him. "Fine. Since no one is owning up, the whole school will be punished."  This caused the fire captain and the students to sigh in disappointment. "What?! I'm not so sure my father will react kindly to me being punished without any proof!" Chloé pulls out her phone. This caused Mr. Damocles to get scared of the threat. "Oh, no! Please, don't disrupt the busy mayor. The whole school is punished except for Miss Bourgeois!" This caused the students to speak of how unfair it was. "That's more like it." Chloé smirked. "Now you know how we deal with anyone who misuses the fire department's time." Mr. Damocles told the fire captain. "Okay, great! Bye!" The fire captain quickly takes his leave as everyone separates to take their unfair punishment. 

"Do you see what just went down?" Alya glared. "Ugh! Totally unfair!" (Y/n) whined. "I know. Adrien just talked in my ear!" Marinette gushed. "Seriously, Marinette?" Her best friends sighed in annoyance. 

As for everyone's unfair punishment, they were tasked with cleaning the school.  As Chloé was on her phone she turned to Rose. "Can't you see I'm trying to relax here? Go sweep somewhere else, Cinderella!" This caused Rose to whimper. (Y/n) wrapped her arm around Rose. "Leave Rose alone, Chloè! Come on, let's clean over there." (Y/n) leads Rose away as they cleaned near the stairs. As they were cleaning, Nathaniel walks over to (Y/n). "Can you believe this?" He asked. "It's Chloé we're talking about. I wouldn't be surprised if she tried to give us detention for a month just to torture us." (Y/n) grumbles. Nathaniel could see that (Y/n) was sweeping aggressively. He puts his hand on top of hers to calm her down. She looked and smiled at him. 

"Say, (Y/n). I was wondering if you wanted to do anything after school?" Nathaniel asked. "Sorry, Nathan, but the girls and I planned to hang out at Marinette's house after school. Could we take a rain check?" (Y/n) told. Nathaniel smiled as he kissed her cheek. 

Right after school, the girls were at Marinette's house modeling some of the hats Marinette has designed as Alya was taking pictures. Marinette comes by and gives Rose a necklace. "And these are jewels I designed that you can customize yourselves." Rose examines the necklace. "Oooh. They are so cute." 

"Hold on, nobody move." Alya takes a picture of Rose, wearing the necklace. "This one would make an awesome homepage image for your future blog. Wouldn't it?" She told Marinette and suddenly noticed a message on her phone. "Chloé?" 

"What does that bratty snob want?" Marinette questioned. "Chloé's inviting me to a party." Alya replied. "Huh, me too!" Rose got a message on her phone. "Me too." Juleka looked at her phone. "Me too." Myléne had a message on her phone. (Y/n) nearly dropped her phone when she got a message on her phone. "Me too!?" 

"That's so nice of Chloé!" Rose smiled. "Chloé and nice in the same sentence? Can't be her." Marinette said. "She must've been switched with a clone." (Y/n) joked. "Maybe somebody hacked her phone then." Myléne suggested. Marinette pulls out her phone. "I haven't received a text." Alya then joked. "Then that means it must be from Chloé!" This caused the girls to laugh. They stopped when Marinette finally received an invitation. "Hm? Ewww, She invited me!" Marinette exclaims in disgust. "Awesome! This will be so much fun!" Rose cheered. "Wait! You're actually going to go?" Marinette questioned. "She probably wants to say sorry for this morning. Maybe she's nice. Very, very, deep down." Myléne said. "Chloé being nice doesn't sound right to me." (Y/n) crossed her arms. "(Y/n)'s right. Chloé's the exact opposite of nice! Whatever, you guys can go but don't count me in." Marinette huffed. Alya got a message on her phone. "It's Nino. He's going to the party with Adrien." This caused Marinette to scream. "O-okay, yes, you guys are right! We should totally give Chloé one more chance!" (Y/n) shakes her head with a smile. "Ladies and gentlemen, we officially lost her." Marinette giggles nervously.

Everyone made it to the party at the Le Grand Paris Hotel. "This whole party thing is way weird." Marinette whispered to Alya and (Y/n). Adrien turned over to the girls. "Well, I've known Chloé for a long time. She can be really cool, sometimes!" Suddenly. Chloé leaps onto Adrien's back and kisses his cheeks. "Adrikins! What do you think of me hosting this party? Really nice of me, right?"  

"It's awesome, Chloé!" Adrien smiled as Marinette grunted. "Hey, there!" Rose greets Chloé by kissing her cheeks. "Hey, Chloé!" Kim walked over and kisses her cheeks. "Thanks for the invite, Chloé." Max goes over and kisses her cheeks. Suddenly, Marinette and Chloé were standing in front of each other. They both looked nervous as everyone was watching them. (Y/n) slowly pulls out her phone and starts recording. Marinette and Chloé hesitated at first before they both greeted each other with very quick kisses on each other's cheeks. They quickly turned away from each other and spit in disgust. Alya chuckles. "(Y/n) totally got you guys on video!" (Y/n) laughs. "Sorry, Mari! I couldn't resist." Marinette mumbles. "Don't rub it in."

Now, everyone was enjoying themselves by dancing, playing video games, and having fun at the party. At the party, (Y/n) and Nathaniel found each other as they were standing by a corner, they decided to have their hang out like they planned. "I'm surprised Chloé did this." Nathaniel said. "Yeah, but I still think something is up. We all know how Chloé can be." (Y/n) took a sip of her punch. Nathaniel shrugged his shoulders. He took slowly took her hand into his. "You know, even though she can be mean, this party she is showing is a perfect opportunity to hang out together." (Y/n) smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder. He then wrapped his arm around her shoulder. They stared at each other's eyes as they leaned closer to each other, but their moment was ruined when Chloé slammed her hands on the counter behind them. "Having a good time?" Chloé shouts. This caused Nathaniel and (Y/n) to be shocked since their moment was ruined. Myléne twirled towards them. "Whoa! All this dancing made me thirsty. Do you know where the ice cubes are?" She asked. "How should I know? I'm not your servant! Go and find them yourself! And if you're so hot, why don't you take off your fake sheepskin sweater? Throw it in the trash where it belongs!" Chloé insulted. This caused Myléne to gasp. (Y/n) glared as she puts a hand on Myléne's shoulder. "What the heck, Chloé!" 

Chloé looked down nervously as she lets out a nervous chuckle. She pats Myléne's head. "I'm totally joking. I love mutton! I'll get you those ice cubes!" This caused the three teens to be very confused. Chloé then comes back and dumps ice into Myléne's cup. (Y/n) rolled her eyes and helped Myléne clean up. She then went next to her boyfriend. "See, typical Chloé." Nathaniel just smiled at her. "Yeah, I guess you're right." 

Then, Nino changed the music into a slow dance. Nathaniel and (Y/n) smiled as they blushed lightly. He held his hand out to her. "Do you want to dance?" (Y/n) nodded. "I'd love to." They both put their drinks down as they danced to the song. As they were dancing to the rhyme of the song, (Y/n) noticed that Adrien and Marinette were slow dancing with each other. (Y/n) whispered to Nathaniel to get closer to Adrien and Marinette. Seeing that she and Alya had the same idea, they both twirled a little as they fixed Adrien and Marinette's dance position so they can hold each other closer. The two girls twirled away and dance with their partners. Once they were gone, Adrien and Marinette smiled at each other as they continued their dance. Chloé noticed this and pushed Kim aside. "I'm not letting her dance with Adrien under my roof!" Kim was confused. "Hey, this song's not over yet!" Then, her butler moves in front of her. "If I re-say, Mademoiselle, or to..." Chloé interrupts him. "Move, Jean-Jacques!" Then he pulled out a teddy bear and speaks in a squeaky voice. "Oh, please, Chloé, dear! You've been such a good little girl! Mr. Cuddly is so very proud..." Chloé tries to hide it, but everyone already noticed it. "Is that your teddy bear, Chloé?" Kim asked as everyone begins to laugh. With that, Chloé pushes her butler away as she follows. 

After the whole teddy bear embarrassment, everyone went back to enjoying the part. (Y/n) was dancing with Nathaniel as he would twirl her around. What they didn't know is that a small, yet new supervillain, Despair Bear came in to cause mischief. He finds Sabrina and hugs her leg to control her. She lets out a gasp and pulls out a brush. "Come here, Chloé." 

"Sabrina? What's gotten into you?" Chloé questioned. "Let me brush your hair! I promise I won't hurt you!" Sabrina tried to forcefully brush Chloé's hair. "Ahh! Somebody stop her!" Chloé runs away as Sabrina chases after her. Chloé then finds behind Kim. "If you touch one hair on Chloé's head, you'll have to answer to me." Kim protects Chloé. "Oh, what a gentleman. Despair Bear praises a knight in shining armor." Despair Bear then hugs Kim's leg to control him now. (Y/n) noticed and as she turned to see that Marinette noticed as well. They both nodded at each other. They excused themselves as they try to find a place to hide. They quickly got to the staircase. Finally, their Kwamis popped out. " We... We've gotta transform, Tikki and Bitz. Too bad I had to stop dancing with Adrien. It felt like I was dancing on a little cloud. I'm out of body experience. It was like..." Marinette was getting distracted as (Y/n) snaps her out of it. "Um, Earth to Mari. There's a supervillain at the party." Suddenly they heard screaming from the party. "Okay, back down to Earth." Marinette nods. 

"Tikki, spots on! Ha!" Marinette transforms into Ladybug. 

Bitz, fly in the night!" (Y/n) transforms into Chiroptera. 

The two heroines made it to the party to see Kim dancing with Chloé. "Let go, you evil derp! You're messing up my hair!" She grunts. "I hope you're having fun, Chloékins!" Despair Bear taunts. As Kim twirls her in the air, Ladybug uses her yo-yo to catch Chloé and throws her into the ball pit. She pops out of the ball pit and spits out a ball from her mouth. "About time, what took you so long?" Chiroptera just rolled her eyes at Chloé's comment. Kim was about to go after Chloé, but suddenly Cat Noir appears and trips him with his staff. Kim falls into the ball pit. "That's a very slippery dance floor!" Cat Noir jokes. Chiroptera glares at Despair Bear and throws her tessen fan at him, but he dodges it. People began to scream in fear. "Everyone, move aside!" Chiroptera yelled. They couldn't find Despair Bear among the crowd. "Look out!" Cat Noir pulled the heroines to the floor. They found Despair Bear controlling Max."How about a little game...Of flying chairs?" Despair Bear said through Max. Ladybug uses her yo-yo to grab hold of Max's leg, but Despair Bear leaves. He then controls Alya as she tried to attack Chiroptera. The bat heroines quickly take hold of Alya. "Huh? Chiroptera, what happened?" Alya was confused. Then, Despair Bear was controlling Ivan to throw a coffee table at the trio, but Cat Noir spots. "Huh, Cat Noir?" Ivan was also confused. "Ugh! Where did that little menace get to!?" Chiroptera growls. As they were looking, Cat Noir grabs hold of Ladybug. "Uh, what are you doing?" She gasped when she realized that Despair Bear was controlling him. "Oh, no!" 

Cat Noir then attacked Ladybug as he tried to grab her earrings. "Cat Noir, it's me! Stop it!" Ladybug exclaims. "Get away from her! And knock it off Cat Noir!" Chiroptera quickly grabs hold of Ladybug and pulls her away from him. Chiroptera took this opportunity to have him in a chokehold and bonk him in the head to try to knock his senses back. "Cataclysm!" Cat Noir summons his power. Chiroptera gasped when Cat Noir was about to use his power on her, but Chloé intervenes. "Paws off, kitty!" She grabs hold of his tail and it caused him to fall on a couch which gets destroyed by his Cataclysm. "Wow! Thanks!" Chiroptera was dumbfounded by Chloé rare selfless act. "Hey, I was really nice, just then. Did you see? No?" Chloé brags as everyone faints in shock. "You're all so lame." 

"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug summons her power. "A fork?" 

"And how's that gonna help us, LB?" Chiroptera tilted her head. "You little brats!" Despair Bear exclaims. Cat Noir charges as he chases the heroines upstairs to the rooftop. "They're crazy, they're never going to make it without me." Chloé said. 

Up the rooftop, Cat Noir finally made it outside as he tried to find the two heroines. As they hide, Ladybug uses her lucky vision to see what she can do to defeat Despair Bear. "Okay! Now, Chiroptera!" She exclaims. 

Chiroptera nods. "Echo!" She summons her power. She throws the glowing orb and saw wave signals only she could see. She could see that Cat Noir would attack Ladybug, so she uses her weapon to block his attacks as Ladybug tries to find a way to get to Despair Bear. "Hey, stop!" Chloé shrieks as Cat Noir's staff was knocked out of his hand and nearly hits her. Seeing an opening, Ladybug quickly attacked her yo-yo to Despair Bear's puppet head. "Naughty, naughty, Ladybug and Chiroptera!" Despair Bear exclaims. Ladybug quickly throws the fork onto a table umbrella. "Chloé, would you be so kind?" She asked. Cat Noir was about to attack Ladybug, but Chiroptera quickly blocked his attack. Chloé understood what Ladybug meant. "Okay, Ladybug!" She quickly spins the table umbrella as the fork that was attached to the puppet's head slowly detached itself from Cat Noir. "No! Stop! What's happening?" Despair Bear yells out. Finally, Cat Noir was out of Despair Bear's control. "Chiroptera? Ladybug? What are you guys doing?" He asked. "Oh, nothing. Just saving your skin with the help of our new little sidekick." ladybug pointed towards Chloé as she looked proud of herself. Suddenly they heard a squeaky voice. "Give me your Miraculous! You haven't defeated me, yet!" It was Despair Bear. "You might want to watch where you're stepping, CN." Chiroptera smirked. Despair was yelling and kicking Cat Noir's foot. "I've got this guy under control." Cat Noir grabs hold of him. Ladybug grabs hold of the detached string and breaks it. The akuma flies out. "No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" Ladybug opens her yo-yo and captures the akuma. "Gotcha!" She released a purified butterfly. "Bye-bye, little butterfly." She then throws her Lucky Charm" Miraculous Ladybug!" The Lucky Charm then turns everything back to normal. Then, Despair Bear turns back into Chloé's butler. 

Ladybug hands Chloé her teddy bear back. "Thanks for helping us out there. That was really nice of you." Chiroptera smirked as she crossed her arms. "Yeah, it's a nice change." Chloé smiled. "I know, wasn't it?" Then her butler walked over to them. "Mademoiselle, I must confess. I don't remember anything!" Chloé began to brag. "Well, basically, you turned evil and I saved you. In fact, without me, Ladybug and Cat Noir would never have succeeded. I'm even better than you superheroes. I don't even need a costume." Chiroptera rolled her eyes in thought. 'Never mind, I take it back.' Suddenly, the trio's Miraculous started to beep. "Gotta get going!" Cat Noir left. "Yeah, me too!" Ladybug exclaims. "See ya guys!" Chiroptera left with Ladybug. 

Once all the chaos settled down, Chloé did something that shocked a lot of people. She called in Marinette's dad, so he can finish his baking lesson. "Great job, kids. You've done some really good work." Mr. Dupain-Cheng told as everyone cheered. "That was a great idea of inviting Marinette's dad!" Adrien smiled. "I know. This way, no one can be mad at me for calling the fire department. I'm really nice now, did you notice, Adrikins? Even Ladybug and Chiroptera said so! Didn't they, Jean-Pascal?" Chloé brags again. "I'm proud of you, Chloé. I think you've proven that you're capable of making an effort to be nicer to everyone." Adrien told. " Aww, Adrikins! So we'll always be best friends, forever? Pinky swear?" Chloé holds out her pinky. "Pinky swear!" Adrien locked his picky with hers. Seeing that everything was fine on her part, she began to insult everyone's macarons. (Y/n) could see that Marinette was making faces at Chloé before Adrien and (Y/n) walked behind her. "She'll never change!" Adrien said. "Why am I not surprised." (Y/n) had her hands on her hips. Marinette lets out a nervous giggle. Adrien leans in close to Marinette. "May I?" 

Marinette smiled before she stutters. "Yeah! Sure! I mean... Uh, what?" 

"Have a macaron!"

"Yes, of course." 

Marinette tries to give Adrien one, but she accidentally drops them. Luckily, he caught one in time. "Oh, sorry, I'm so clumsy!" 

"It's okay." Adrien eats the macaron. "Wow, this is really good. Your baking is good as your dancing." 

Once Adrien leaves, Marinette sighs in relief. (Y/n) smiled as she locked her arm with Marinette's. "Nice one, Mari." Marinette smiled back as they were glad today turned out okay, even though Chloé kept insulting people. But that won't take away the fun they had during the party.
