GORE DESCRIPTION WARNING: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK

On the Eiffel Tower stood Paris' superheroes, they had been patrolling around town and just finished their rounds. After giving her a bouquet of flowers, Chat suggested that they watched the moon there and that he had something to say.

After having her turn around, much to her dismay and disapproval, Chat placed a small, ladybug and cat locket.
She lifted it up and noticed writing on the back. She could make out but a few words in the moonlight. "Paris", "Beauty", and "Je t'aime"

"Je t'aime my lady, I want you to know that I really do love you..." The black clad male told her with a smile, gently taking her hands in his. "I would do anything for you, anything to prove that I care about you. I don't know what I'd do without you..."

"Chat...that's really sweet of you and I don't know what I'd do without you either. You're my partner and the best one I could ever ask for.." Smiled the bluenette beauty.

"But...I just don't feel the same way about you.." She added on as let her hands fall to her side as she turned away. "I...just don't think we'd be good together. Not to mention I like someone else..." Her arms crossed under her chest.

"My lady please." Chat pleaded, his hands gently squeezing her shoulders. "Just give me a chance."

"Chat, please, just stop it." She walked to the end of the rooftop and heard the gentle sound of sniffling. Her heart began aching as guilt weld up, she couldn't bear to look back and see him crying.
"Look, we'll always be friends okay? I'm sorry, but, I just don't want to ruin our friendship..."

There was no response and Ladybug turned around. He was gone.

"Hmph!" Her nose crinkled up slightly. "Fine. Whatever. I guess I'll talk to you tommorow." She muttered under her breath.

She swung off the Eiffel Tower and onto a nearby building before walking. Marinette roamed the rooftops as Ladybug, a look of sadness etched into her face. She felt bad and it showed. Chat had did his best to impress her, bringing her an adorable necklace and flowers before professing his love for her, but, she just had to turn him down. A feeling of dread formed in her stomach as she made her way back home, sneaking in through the door on the roof and de-transforming.

Marinette plopped into bed and slept, not before getting a lecture from Tikki however.

The next school day went by in a blur, one difference being that Marinette's blonde headed crush was notably absent from class.

She assumed that just was sick or busy and thought nothing of it. The rest of the day went by and soon, it was time for her and Chat's nightly patrol of the city.

The bluenette transformed, headed out to their meeting spot and waited.

5 minutes turned to 10
10 turned to 20
20 to 30
And 30 to an hour, still no sign of Chat.

"I can't believe he's still mad.." Ladybug sighed and began patrolling.

She stayed out longer than expected and soon it was 2 am in the morning. Though the bluenette knew she would regret it in the morning, it didn't matter to her at the moment. It wasn't like Chat to miss a patrol so she decided to search for him.

A glimpse of messy blonde hair caught her eye and she quickly followed after it.

"Chat! Wait up!" Called out Ladybug as she followed who she thought was Chat into a dark and blocked off alleyway.

The smell of a rotting, nasty corpse assaulted her nose and it didn't take long for her to find the source of it. 

There he was, Adrien Agreste, lying dead in a pool of blood. The scene was disgusting even in the low light.

His throat was slashed and his chest was cut open too, so far that she could faintly make out his broken ribcage and lungs. They had taken his heart out of his body and it laid in his hand, his last moments of horror still present on his face.

She covered her mouth and her cheeks turned green, feeling like she was going to throw up as she read the message that was written in his blood on the wall.

"Your precious "Chat" was up first. A broken heart is his curse. This is but the first death. You'll have to wait to see the rest! I know who you are, what evils lurk inside your heart. Give your miraculous and quick, before you and your loved ones end up in a ditch. Or, will you catch me and find out who's next? Time will tell little bug. Hope you sleep snug~"

Horror etched into her face as she fell to her knees. She began to bawl loudly as hot tears ran down her face.

"C-chaton...I'm...I'm so sorry..."

A/N: I wanted to post something for you guys so I thought of doing some little side stories that have no correlation to the actual plot in any way, shape or form what so ever
......

So this is a more eerie, grotesque one that I'm not sure if I'm going to continue in the next side story. I was thinking of doing them whenever there's no updates for a while. They'll be random and unrelated and pretty short most of the time, just something for you guys to read since I'm so horrible at updating constantly thanks to the menace I call school.
