The alarms song was quickly shut off by the pale hand of our famous bluenette. As Marinette sat up in bed, a bright smile decorated her face brightly.

"WOO IT'S FINALLY MY BIRTHDAY!!" Marinette said with a laugh as Tikki kissed her cheek.
"Happy Birthday, Marinette!" Said the cute little kwami who floated beside her.
Marinette hugged her as best as she could, against her cheek.

"Thanks, Tikki!" She said with a happy smile as she heard a knock on her door.
"Hide, quickly!" Marinette's voice became a gentle whisper and Tikki nodded at the larger female and quickly hid in her drawer.

"Mari?" Called the soft voice of her mother Sabine. "Are you awake?"

"Yes, mama!"
Marinette responded cheerfully and fell off her bed with a yelp before getting up and dashing to open the door for her mom who quickly hugged her daughter.

"Happy birthday sweetheart!" She said and pecked her cheek.

"Haha, thank you!" She giggled happily and pulled away from the hug, holding her mother's soft and dainty hands.

"Now, I know you don't want to discuss it now, but don't forget that it's almost time for the crowning, my love! You'll become crown princess in-" Sabine started but was cut off.

"Two weeks, I know mom. At least I still get to have my birthday party today!"

Sabine laughed softly. "Did you make sure to invite all your friends and classmates, Marinette?"

"Mhm, of course." The blunette nodded, though she really didn't want to invite one person in particular. 'Chloe'll probably try and make the party all about herself' She thought and let out a quiet sigh

"Well, I don't want you being late. The party will be set up in the park by time you get back from school so don't forget to remind your friends today, Okay?"
Sabine reminded the girl beside her as the two bluenette's walked side by side down the steps.

"Mhm, I will!" Marinette assured her mother with a smile.

"That's my girl!" She said and pecked her cheek.
"And mine too!" Said Tom as he entered the room with one of his signature friendly smiles.

The large male scooped both girls up and into his arms happily.

"Haha, of course dear!" Sabine chuckled at her husband's actions.

"And a happy birthday to you Marinette!" Her father laughed. 

"Thanks, Papa!" She kissed her father's cheek and he let them both down.

"Now let's eat breakfast so you can hurry up and go to school!" Her mother said and the family of three headed to eat their breakfast.

After around 15 minutes had gone by, Marinette finished her breakfast and stood up.
"I'll just get my stuff and head to school." The young bluenette bowed her head a bit and quickly headed upstairs and picked up her purse, looking at Tikki who was nibbling on a cookie.
"Time to go?" The ladybug themed kwami looked up at her as she slid in some more cookies for her.

"Yup! Maybe for once I won't actually be late!" Laughed Marinette as she dashed downstairs, placing kisses on her mother and father's cheeks.

"Goodbye, Mama! Goodbye, Papa!" The female ran out and dashed to school, keeping her breathing at a methodical and steady rate so that she wouldn't get as tired.

The sight of the school yard full of students made Marinette smiled as she now knew she wasn't late. Out of the corner of her eye, a glimpse of long, ombre hair gave way to familiar face of her best friend Alya. She quickly dashed over, pulling the girl into a hug.

"GAH!!" Screamed Alya, getting caught off guard by the sudden and unexpected appearance of her friend. "Mari! Girl! You scared me half to death!" She complained to the bluenette who only chuckled awkwardly.
"Hehe, sorry." She muttered.
"Oh, before I forget!" Alya started and squished Marinette in a hug.
"Happy B-day girl!"
"A-ah, thanks Alya, but, I-i can't breath..." She muttered as her friend quickly released her bone crushing hug with a laugh.
"Hehe, just really happy and excited for my besties birthday!" She laughed and the two walked into school together.

The pair was then stopped by Chloè who glared. "Marinette." She said simply, venom lacing her annoying high pitched voice.
"Chloe." She said simply. "I hope I'll see you at my birthday party this evening."

"Oh, you will. And I better not be disappointed."

The bluenette fought the urge to roll her eyes at the blonde and Alya grabbed her arm, dragging her inside the building and walking to the classroom quietly, doing there best to ignore the loud noise and random screaming of students in the hallway.

Alya pushed open the door and the two headed to there normal seat near the classes front.
"You invited her to your birthday party?!!" Alya yelled as students began entering the class and taking their usual seats.

"Alya, I had to invite her! Mama wanted me to!" Marinette explained to the ombre haired female.

"Ugh! I just hope she doesn't ruin your party, girl!" Alya said with obvious annoyance creeping out with every word.

"Me too." She nodded in agreement with the female beside her.

"Alright, everyone pay attention!" Mrs. Bustier called out and everyone looked up at her. "Today, we're going to learn about royal families. Specifically of France and China."

A long class period finally came to an end and Marinette quickly grabbed her things.
"Don't forget my party is in the park after school!" Called out Marinette as she began her walk out of class with Alya.
"I hope you have a great birthday, Mari!" Adrien said with a smile at the female who's face reddened in embarrassment and shyness.

"O-oh t-thank you, Adrien!" Stuttered a blushing Marinette responded as Alya chuckled.
"See ya at the birthday!" Said Alya as she put her arm around Marinette, walking with her out of the classroom.

"Yep! You know it!" Adrien nodded and the two left.
"I gotta meet up with Nino girl! See you after lunch." Alya said to the bluenette.
"Y-yeah, s-sure!" Stuttered Marinette who was still blushing and embarrassed as she walked home to enjoy lunch with her family.

Once she arrived back home, Marinette opens up the door.
"Mama, Papa. I'm home" The bluenette called out into the bakery.

"We have to make at least some  progress on preparations." Sabine was talking with Tom.
"I agree, but we have to make sure Marinette is okay with all the changes."
The older bluenette nods at her husband.
"Well, of course!"
"Ehm..." Marinette cleared her throat and her parents turned towards her.

"Oh, Marinette!" Her mother smiled gently.
"We were just discussing the party after the crowning." Tom finished his wife's statement as Marinette grabbed her lunch.
"I'll eat quickly and we can discuss okay?" Marinette suggested to which her parents responded with a nod.
She adjusted her bag and headed upstairs to her bedroom.

The bluenette ate her breakfast as Tikki sat on her shoulder.
"Are you excited for your party, Marinette?" Tikki asked with a cute smile.
"Mhm! But I'm also nervous because Chloè is gonna be there." She admitted to her friend.
"Don't worry, Marinette! I'm sure your party will be great!."
"Haha, what would I do without you Tikki?"
"Be late for everything! Now you gotta get downstairs and talk with your parents before you have to go back to school!"
"Oh no, you're right, Tikki!" The bluenette let Tikki go in her purse as she dashed down the stairs to discuss with her parents.

Eventually she returned to school and sat down in class quietly. She had convinced her parents to allow her classmates to go and watch the crowning. Her mind raced with thoughts as she leaned on her hand.

The rest of the day went by in a blur, with her casually talking with Alya, Nino and Adrien(though most of those conversations were filled with a lot of awkward stuttering on Mari's part)

Soon, it was time for her to go home and get ready for her party. She quickly changed into a lovely outfit. Her outfit consisted of a dark blue blouse with with hearts decorating it along with a cute red skirt and brown purse where Tikki hid. After putting on a matching pair of blue socks, Marinette decided on brown boots to go with the outfit and braided her hair.
"Time to party" She muttered.
