Marinette woke up early the next morning and grabbed all her bags, she was supposed to be picked up from the bakery at noon by the limousine.

A worried expression plastered on her face because she knew that Alya would get suspicious of her just disappearing like that, but, she had to go of course.

After a few minutes of calming herself down, Marinette went downstairs to grab a quick breakfast and then made her way back up to her bedroom, making sure that she had packed what she needed for the trip.

She brought the bags downstairs and made her way back up to her bedroom, stripping off her clothes, grabbing her towel and hopping in the shower.

She turned on the water and allowed the warm substance to wet her body. Marinette grabbed her bar of soap and the clean rag that was hanging and put some soap on it.

She used the soapy rag to wash her body and sang in the shower.

After about 10 minutes or so in the shower, Marinette turned off the shower pipe and grabbed her towel, wrapping it around her as she made her way back to her room.

The blue haired female dried off her body and began putting on clothes. She decided just to wear her usual outfit today and opened her purse for Tikki to go in.

After she was all set and changed, Marinette wrote a quick note and brought it down the stairs with her.

The limousine arrived soon and she quickly ran outside, placing the note on the door and hopping into the black limousine.

At School

Alya was in her usual seat, not really paying attention to the teacher as she glanced at the empty seat beside her, Marinette was usually late, but, not this late.

The ombre haired female couldn't help but feel nervous. She kept trying to remind herself that Marinette was probably fine, maybe she just slept in or had to do something for her parents.

She couldn't really focus on the task at hand with the thoughts rushing through her head. Alya decided to glance up at the clock at waited anxiously for the bell that would free them for lunch.

Alya chewed on her lip impatiently and tapped her foot on the ground beneath her and finally, after what seemed like forever, the lunch bell rang off and students began packing up their things.

The ombre haired female picked up her bag and made her way to the door, waiting for Nino and Adrien to finish packing their things.

Once they finished, the pair walked up to her.

"Have either of you heard anything from Marinette since yesterday?" The ombre female asked, not giving either male a chance to say hello.

"Nah, haven't heard from her. She probably slept in really late today." Nino shrugged.

"I haven't heard from her either." Adrien mumbles softly. "Strange..."

"Well, I'm getting worried. Let's stop by the bakery and check on her, just to make certain she's okay!" Alya told them and ran a hand through her hair.

"Yeah, we should." Nino said and Adrien nodded in agreement.

The trio headed outside of the classroom together and walked down the school's hallways together quietly.

They exited the school and headed on their way to Marinette's family bakery.

After walking for a while in complete silence, the bakery could be seen in the distance.

The trio sped up and quickly ran to the door.

Alya was the first to arrive and pulled on the door, it was locked.

Nino grabbed the note that was now laying on the floor and handed it over to Alya.

She took the note and read over it calmly.

To whom it may concern,

I'm sorry for disappearing so suddenly, but, I was needed. The bakery will be closed until my parents and I return from our trip. I'm very, very sorry for the inconvenience that this sudden closure has caused and hope that the Dupain-Cheng Bakery can expect your patronage once we return.

"Mari went away and she didn't even tell me...?" She muttered quietly and put the note back.

Nino rested his hand on Alya's shoulder silently.

"We should go get some food." Adrien suggested and the pair nodded.

The trio walked together and went to a pizza place to grab themselves some slices.

Nino and Alya held hands during the walk there, leaving an awkwardly lonely Adrien to walk beside them.

Once they had arrived, Adrien held the door open and they walked, thanking him and putting the bags down at the table.

"Let's get a pizza with 6 slices so we can split it evenly." Alya suggested to the two males.

"Yeah!" Nino smiled gently in agreement.

"Sounds good to me." Adrien nodded. "My dad isn't around to see so I can get away with it."

They walked up to the front desk to order their two slices.

After ordering, they went back to their table and sat down and began talking about why Marinette just up and left without saying anything.

Alya let out a sigh and took her phone out from her back pocket and went to her contacts.

She scrolled through her contacts and found Marinette's number. The ombre female called the number and brought the phone up to her ear.

The phone rang quietly into her ear and she waited to hear her friends voice on the other end, but, it never came.

It eventually went to Marinette's voicemail.

"Hey! It Marinette! Since I didn't answer your call, I'm probably busy, sleeping or don't have my phone! Hehe, Sorry about that! Leave a message after the beep and I'll make sure to get back to you as soon as I can! Byyyeee!"

Alya sighed and heard the beep of the phone. "Hey, girl. It's Alya. I was just calling to ask about something...but, it can wait I guess. Call or text me please."  She said and hung the phone up and looked down at the pizza which had just arrived.

Nino and Adrien were eating the pizza and just talking together and Alya put her phone away.

"She didn't pick up?" Asked Adrien.

"Nope." Alya muttered. "So I left a message." She told him and picked up a slice of pizza, nibbling on it gently.

She ate in silence and let her thoughts run wild.

The trio finished off their food and went back up to pay for it.

They walked back to school in silence and the day continued on.

An: I'M SO SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING AND FOR THIS CHAPTER MOSTLY BEING FOCUSED ON ALYA, NINO AND ADRIEN!BUT BEFORE YOU KILL ME, LET ME EXPLAIN! I'VE BEEN SO BUSY THE LAST FEW  DAYS AND I NEVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK ON THE CHAPTER! Plus I've been feeling a bit out of it lately. I'm not exactly sure when I'll have the next chapter out either....you can kill me now. And once again, Little ol' Author-Chan is sorry ._. Stay sweet my stars
