For a moment it felt like the world had stopped. Marinette and Chat Noir sat mere inches away from each other, their lips almost touching, and they would've, if it wasn't for Marinette quickly turning her head away.

"E-eheh! I know you'll do just fine C-chat!" She smiled, a soft blush dusting across her pale cheeks and she closed her eyes.

"R-right, um...Thanks for the help and the confidence boost Princess." He smiled, rubbing the back of his neck gently.

"I think I can do it now, when the time is right." Chat Noir carefully stood up and held his hand out to Marinette.

She took hold of his hand and pulled herself up, grinning lightly.

"Well, let's get you back to your place. Where are you staying while you're here?" He questioned curiously, though of course he knew where she was staying, he couldn't make it too obvious who he was.

Marinette gave the address of the hotel and he picked her up, holding her bridal style as he dashed across the rooftops to the hotel.

"H-hey! Give me a warning before you do that!" Marinette huffed lightly, feeling her heart pounding heavily. The bluenette swiftly buried her face in his chest as they leaped into the air.

It didn't take very long and soon they arrived with Chat landing in front of the door.

"Here we we are Princess! Home safe." He laughed softly as he set her down. She had a hand on her chest, trying to calm her heart rate.

"I hate you so much right now." A small, exasperated sigh escaped her lips.

"Love you too. Sleep well alright Princess? Good night." Chat Noir smiled lightly.

"Good night alley cat." Marinette grinned lightly as she looked at him before turning to walk inside.

"What, no good night kiss from my Princess?" He pouted lightly, though he was obviously just joking with her.

The bluenette stopped, turning towards the blonde-haired boy. She didn't know what came over her, but she slowly made her way over to the blonde, looking up, moving some blonde hair from his face and placed a small kiss on his forehead.

The black-clad hero blushed brightly, and brought a hand to his forehead.

"Now good night Chat Noir. Have a good rest alright? I'll see you back in Paris." She made her way inside and Adrien was just left utterly dumb-founded and he couldn't help but smile brightly.

Did Marinette like him as Chat Noir? Did she like his true self? A sense of excitement filled his chest and he waited until the coast was clear before detransforming and sneaking his way back into his hotel room.

That only made him more nervous however. What if he confessed to her as Adrien and she rejected him because she liked the other version of him? Maybe then he'd tell her the truth? Ladybug would be pissed at him but he trusted in Marinette and knew she would keep his secret.

He decided for now, however to simply put the thought out of his mind for the time being and focus on trying to figure out how he was going to tell Marinette how he felt.

Adrien figured it would be best to get her alone because he didn't want to risk embarrassing her, making her nervous and/or making her feel pressured into saying yes.

The male plopped into bed, a heavy sigh escaping his lips and he closed his eyes, deciding to get some rest.

Marinette had just entered her shared hotel room with Alya, after having gone to Mrs. Bustier and explaining everything to her. Alya looked up and smiled. "Hey girl, did you find what you were looking for?" The ombre haired girl raised her brows lightly.

"No, but luckily there wasn't anything important in it!" She grinned and sat down, her cheeks a soft pink.

"Ooo, you're blushing! Did something happen on your way back?" The girl questioned, a grin stretching across her face.

"Well, I mean...kinda?" The bluenette blushed softly as she let her hair out of her pig tails and Alya plopped on the bed behind her, braiding the locks calmly.

"Spill, now!" Alya commanded, curiosity peeked.

"I ran into Chat Noir. Apparently he's here on vacation for a while?" The bluenette spoke, biting her lip.

"Okay, so what happened with Chat Noir?" Alya hummed a bit,

"Well, he came to ask me for advice and confide in me about a girl that he likes. I'm pretty sure he's still into Ladybug, but there's a girl he knows as a civilian that he likes too."

"Aww, complicated much." After finishing braiding her hair, Alya hugged Marinette from behind and Marinette let out a small sigh, leaning back against her friend.

"Well, I gave him some advice to really think about his feelings and then I let him practice what he was gonna say to her by pretending he was confessing to me-"

"And something happened didn't it?" Alya looked down at her friend, furrowing her brows a bit.

"Um well don't freak out but....we almost...kissed." Her face turned a bright red and she looked away.

"Wait what?! Shut up and hold the phone! You almost kissed CHAT NOIR?!" Alya's eyes widened in shock, she couldn't believe her ears.

"Could you say it louder Alya? I don't think they heard you in the Americas yet..." Marinette pouted lightly.

"Sorry, my bad, but what about Adrien? Girl you've liked him forever and then you suddenly say you almost kissed Chat Noir?"

"I-i know, I know but I don't know what came over me...its like I got caught up in the moment or something...I still really, really like Adrien, that much hasn't changed." Marinette sighed and bit down on her lip

"But?" Alya started, knowing there was more the girl would have to say. 

"But I...I think I like Chat Noir too."

"C'mon give me a hug."

Marinette turned around, burying her face in Alya's neck as the two hugged.

"You want to stay like this for a while until you feel a bit better? Just take some time to process your emotions." Alya pat the girl's head gently.

"I got you okay?"

"Thanks a lot Alya, you're the best." Marinette smiled softly up at her friend.

"Of course, what are best friends for? I'm just glad me and Nino didn't have such a complicated relationship! God just hearing about it gives me a headache."

"Eheh, yeah. But, I'm sure I'll figure all of this out.."
