"H-huh?" Marinette stuttered out in confusion and disbelief at what Adrien?had said.

"You...had a crush on me? And you didn't say anything?!" She was trying to comprehend what she was hearing.

"Yeah, but, I would've felt guilty knowing that Nathaniel had a crush on you too and we both know that Luka likes you." Adrien admitted, lightly squeezing the girls hand.

"Wait so- how...do you feel about me n- nevermind." The bluenette muttered, not wanting to make things awkward for their walk home.

Adrien simply nodded, deciding not to push things. "I-i didn't make you uncomfortable did I? Did I make things weird?" He questioned with a worried expression on his face.

"N-no! Not at all, you didn't so don't worry about it, okay?" Marinette grinned lightly as Adrien looked off to the side.

The rest of the walk happened in comfortable silence. Well, as comfortable as it could be for just revealing a kind of crush.

The Hotel Lobby: 2:30 pm

Soon, the duo had arrived back at the hotel, still hand in hand and chatting lightly.

Alya came rushing over, engulphing Marinette in a hug.

"Mari! Are you okay? God I can't believe how much of a total jerk Lila is!" Alya said with a soft huff as she cupped the bluenette's cheeks in her hands.

"Woah, what happened between you two dude?" Nino questioned with a grin decorating his lips.

"Huh? Oh!" He let go of Marinette's hand and rubbed the back of his neck.

"I hadn't even realized we were still holding hands." The blonde admitted.

Marinette frowned a bit and Alya began making her way over to Nino and the two stood by one another.

"Wait, Mari did you ac-" Alya was cut off by Marinette jumping forward.

"No, there no need to worry! We should start getting ready, we only have two hours left!" The bluenette spoke quickly and grabbed her friends arm.

"Oh crap, you're right! We need to get ready! We still need to shower, do our hair, our makeup and pick out our outfits. This is dinner with ROYALTY!" Alya dragged Marinette off towards their shared room, leaving the two boys standing there.

"Girls." They muttered in unison and laughed.

"Honestly, I'm dating one and I still don't understand them any better." Nino smiled a bit.

"Oh, speaking of dating, how are you and Alya?" Adrien asked as they?walked up the stairs.

"We're doing great! Honestly dude, it's been amazing being with Alya. We just have a lot of fun together." He grinned softly as they entered their room.

"Who knows, maybe I'll have a girlfriend and experience that." Adrien hummed softly as he plopped down on the couch.

"Dude, trust me. You aren't gonna have any problems, there's so many girls who like you, I'm sure your perfect girl is even closer than you think." Nino sat down next to him.

"What even is your ideal type? I've never heard you talk much about girls and stuff." The dark-skinned boys curiosity overcame him and he leaned forward.

"Never really thought about it. I mean, I guess I like someone who's sweet. Someone who enjoys helping and standing up for others and speaking her mind. Someone's who able to take charge, stuff like that." Even the blonde couldn't help but notice that his description almost complete fit ladybug, but also reminded him of Marinette. She was all those things too.

"Honestly, I could see that. Now, you wanna play some videogames while we kill time before we have to get ready?" Questioned the dark-skinned boy who received a nod from the blonde male and they began to play.

Adrien and Nino's Room: 4:30 pm

The boys had just finished getting ready with a half hour to kill before they were to meet up with the others downstairs and so they were just relaxing.

"Nino, how'd you and Alya get together again?" Adrien questioned curiously as he fixed his friends tie.

"Ladybug locked us in a cage to keep us safe during an akuma attack." Nino explained and couldn't help but chuckle.

"It's gonna be one hell of a story to tell in the future." The dark-haired boy grinned.

"Yeah, that's hilarious!" Adrien couldn't help but grin as he let go of Nino's tie.

Nino went and checked his phone, seeing Alya had texted him saying that the girl's were just about ready and that they'd meet downstairs.

"Alya says she and Marinette are gonna meet us downstairs. Let's go wait." Nino gestured towards the door, receiving a nod from his best friend as the pair headed down to the hotel lobby.

Hotel Lobby: 4:50 pm

The boys were sitting down by the stairs, waiting for the others to come down and join them. Adrien had been chatting with Chloe and for once she wasn't all over him. Admittedly, it was a little bit strange, but very much welcome by Adrien and Nino was beside him, scrolling through his phone.

"Adrien! Nino!"

The two glanced over at the staircase for a moment when they heard their names being called and they saw both Marinette and Alya at the top of the staircase.

Marinette was adorned in a long top ball gown that darkened from red to black near her feet. The top of her dress had a sweetheart neckline and she wore a black choker with a red heart charm in the middle, along with a chain necklace. Her hair was loose, flowing in gentle waves. She had faint orange-brown eyeshadow with red lipstick and a faint pink blush on her cheeks.

Alya wore an off the shoulder, dark purple high-low dress that showed off the heeled black calf high gladiator heels she was wearing. She wore a choker similar to Marinette's except for the heart in the middle was purple. Her hair was done into an updo, a curly ponytail with fringe to shape her face. She had traded her glasses for contacts and had a smoky eye with a reddish-purple lipstick.

"Woah." Nino said before grinning brightly.

"You two look like princesses!" Adrien smiled and the pair made their way over.

Marinette blushed and laughed. "Ah, a princess! Ha, thanks for the compliment!" She tilted her head to the side.

"This is dinner with royalty! Everyone who's anyone should be looking their best! And if we're princesses, than you must be our handsome princes~" Alya hummed out a compliment.

The boys exchanged glances before bowing to the girls who laughed.

Adrien took Marinette's hand and gently placed a kiss a top it.

"M'lady~"

Marinette swore she actually heard her heart burst from joy and she gently flicked his nose.

Nino lifted Alya up and pecked her lips gently. She lightly hit his arm, feeling her cheeks heat up.

"Nino, no! You're gonna mess up my hair and make up!" The girl huffed to which Nino simply grinned, kissing her again.

"Oh well then." He shrugged and let her go.

"Alright guys, stop flirting in front of the single people and let's go wait!" Marinette grinned and Adrien held his arm out to her, she linked arms with his and Alya linked arms with Nino's

As the others began to arrive, everyone was dressed to the 10's, wearing gowns, suits and just all around looking amazing.

Marinette figured her grandparents on her mother's side would be the one joining them for dinner. They were the one's who ruled because Sabine wanted her daughter to grow up with a normal life before she started ruling.

To be honest, Marinette wasn't looking forward to when she actually became queen. She'd have to leave everything behind and she just wished she could talk to someone about it, though she was afraid of letting anyone know.

Maybe she'd tell Alya tonight because if she wasn't told, she knew Alya would be pissed at her if she found out.

Regardless, tonight was going to be an interesting night to say the least.
